Disappointing selection. If you are looking for nice shoes for an occasion, don’t waste your time. This location needs more dressy women’s shoes.

I received excellent service when looking for shoes for my wife, who needs comfortable and durable shoes to wear in her job cooking in a restaurant kitchen. The front store clerk was very helpful in pointing out two very affordable tennis shoes she tried and bought. The shoe selection in this Payless store is also amazing.

I had a bit of a shoe emergency yesterday. The left heel sole of my work shoe separated from the actual shoe part and was flapping about on my walk from work to BART yesterday evening. I needed to get some new work shoes quickly and without spending a bazillion dollars like I typically have to in order to get shoes that fit my feet, that is size ‘gunboat.’
I jotted over to Payless at the mall after getting off BART. Now in the past, they usually only have 2 – 3 pairs of shoes, any shoes, in my size (14). I was pleasantly surprised to find closer to 15 pairs on display there last night. And the young lady working there informed me that she had more in the back if I was interested in anything else to boot! She was incredibly helpful throughout my time in the store.
I was able to find a very comfortable pair of nice shoes that fit perfectly and were exactly what I was looking for. And to walk out for under $ 40, well I was both surprised and thrilled!

I love Payless Shoes! The only place I can find size 5 for less than $ 30! This Payless was in the mall. I was lucky to find two pairs of flats. AND IT WAS BOGO 50% OFF. Win WIn. Will come back here again.
