Very disappointing second time I’ve ordered food to go at the Pompano location and it’s sitting on the counter getting cold, they never call my name when my food comes out of the kitchen. I feel the staff is very young and incompetent. For this to happen to me the two times I’ve come here it must happen often. They were closing so didn’t offer to rectify the problem. I will never ever order food from here again.

Really enjoyed our first visit to the place. The food was a great value. Super tasty Mongolian beef. All ingredients were very fresh. Service was fast and friendly. Dinner for 2 was under $ 20. Would go again.

As a fast food chain, Pei Wei has some rather nice looking, orderly, clean, well run restaurants. Their purported specialties are supposedly Asian, Japanese, Chinese or Mongolian, all of which are freshly prepared on locations in open kitchens. However, all of their offerings are«stylized,» sort of done in a New York style or preparation technique such as General Tao’s Chicken, a dish totally unknown within China and though not served at Pei Wei, similar in its overly sweet stylization. But don’t take me wrong of this, as I don’t intend to be critical just because the food isn’t authentic or make no attempt to at being authentic. Matter of fact, I find most Americanized or stylized dishes far better than those authentic dishes as served in their supposed country of origin. Trust me on this. Though stylized and Americanized, I can assure you that, for example, Pei Wei’s Mongolian Beef is far better than any I had during what was downright tortuous happenstance of lived in Mongolia; and it was the Mongolian Beef I ordered here. After entering I placed my order at the counter and was given a number to display on my table so that their server would know where to serve it. When it arrived, it was a rather good looking dish with the Mongolian Beef done in a sweet soy sauce along with scallion, garlic and some out of the can type of white mushrooms. I found the cuts of meat to be of a lesser quality but for $ 9.99, one could hardly expect tenderloin, and the side of accompanying rice was rather good. Basically it, along with the other Pei Wei dishes are belly fillers, sort of OK, made exceptionally sweet to suit American tastes.

I first wanted to say that the location was very clean. We walked in and were greeted instantly and ordered our food. We were also explained the rewards program, which we did not know Pei Wei had. We sat outside and I wanted to give a big shout out to Carly for having outstanding customer service. She was very helpful, fast, and I felt like she went out of her way to help us with anything that she could. I just wanted to say that it was an all around great experience for a last minute, out of town decision. The food was great & warm as well.

Placed a online order to be picked up at 4:40. At 4:55 I overheard the cashier ask the cook when would that order be done and the cook appeared to not know anything about it. I asked how much longer and he went back to the cook and cook responded with«when I get to it». I understand mistakes happen, own it, make it right.

As I sit here at home eating my leftovers from today my only thought is to go back tomorrow and order another beef Pad Thai! This restaurant was absolutely perfect the staff was very friendly, the food came quickly and there was ample space for my family of 5 which included one high chair. My kids love the food on the kids menu) even my two year old) and my husband also enjoyed his chicken teriyaki. This a must go to restaurant and I just realized that there is a new one 5 minutes from my home yayyyyyyy. Go and enjoy you fresh food fast!

We love Pei Wei and this is the best location of all the Pei Wei’s we have visited. Food is always good and very nice Manager and staff. Also, Pei Wei has a great rewards program!!! We get Pei Wei at least once a week.

Fast food version of PF Chang’s. I’ve been here many times and it is a decent option for a quick lunch that isn’t McDonalds. I usually order the spicy chicken and my big complaint is that they tend to use a different type of chicken each time. Most recently they used thin strips that were over cooked and very dry. The shrimp California roll was pretty solid but a little overpriced.

I love coming to this location! The staff is always friendly and the food always comes our quick and perfect. One of the cashiers waste hind to get us to buy a cookie on top of our entires and side. I told her that I would prefer a free cookie, so she promised that I could have one if I completed the survey on our receipt. After two minutes of completing the survey I brought my confirmation up to the front and got the cookie! I was pretty excited. The food was amazing and everyone was awesome!

Food different each time you go, although ordering the same thing. Fort Lauderdale location tastes different than Pompano location. Chain restaurants should be consistent. I have had an issue with my order at all three. Soup great in Plantation… horrible in Pompano. Makes you wanna pass the place… in every city. Since when is Pad Thai super spicy? Not supposed to be.

Nice and clean place to grab a bite. Self service. Just like going to fast food restaurants, order front then they will provide seat/table.

Food is good. They didn’t make our sushi roll until after we finished our meal. Since they hadn’t made it, we requested a refund. No dice. We had to wait and take it home in a bag. Can’t wait to see how crunchy tempura tastes tomorrow. Meh.

Our first visit to a Pei Wei, lucky for us a brand new location popped up right by our home. The staff was wonderful and happy to answer questions for first timers. The shrimp were a generous size for a fast, not so fast food restaurant and the rice was perfectly cooked. We also had a sushi appetizer that was very fresh and chilled just perfect. Glad they showed up and we definitely plan to go back soon. The thing that kept me from giving them a 5 star rating was I found the inside portion of the restaurant very loud, if you want to have an intimate conversation take advantage of the outdoor seating.

First time here. I was excited. The menu is confusing it took me so long to order because they couldn’t get my order right. If I would of stayed home and order from the place I ordered I would have been more happy and for the price.

Amazing time waster. So after a few experiences having to wait 20 minutes for a «to go» order to be ready I planned ahead. Since I drive past on my way home from work I call in an order so it will be ready. So when I’m about 15 minutes I way I call the order in. I get there, check in and am told the order is in the system and I sit down for what should be no more than a 5 minute wait. 15 minutes later, and after several people who simply walked in, ordered and received their food had already left I go to the counter to ask WTF?!? That is when the counter person informs me there is a 20 minute delay on phone orders but that my order just went back to the kitchen so it should only be 20 minutes more. So when I point out that it would have been faster for me to not call ahead at all but just walk in an order they explain«technically yes.» They also tried to suggest this was my fault because when I placed the order they told me an estimate of when it should be ready. So by not changing my phone to current time while in traffic, the blame is on me. The blame is actually on me for assuming that like every other place with a «to go» option, phone orders are submitted at the time when they are received and not automatically delayed 20 minutes. So if you don’t value your time and love to have it wasted, if you enjoy getting your food long after the people who were behind you in line, then this is the place to go get treated like somebody who has nothing better to do. What could be worse than that? Well that would be then having to wait for a manager to refund my money and rather than the manager do anything at all to fix things, he informs me that he can refund my money«this time» but next time they won’t be able to refund my money in a similar situation. I assure the manager that there will not be a «next time.» Excellent policy PEIWEI. Add 20 minutes to people who are trying to avoid the wait by calling in ahead. That is how you reward initiative… with a time penalty. And then make sure management does nothing at all about customers upset by this time penalty EXCEPT warn them that next time they might not be able to get a refund when they don’t have time to wait longer than everyone else in the place because they still have things to do and are trying to grab food on the run.

Really good asian food is the hallmark of Pei Wei. They have great hot and sour soup and various other asian dishes. It’s rare to find good chinese food of any kind, much less of this high quality. They have good thai dishes as well as traditional asian cuisine. I think they are owned by PF Chang’s. Pei Wei has several restaurants in the area and they seem to be quite consistent. I really enjoy their food. It’s a very nice place to enjoy a quick lunch or dinner. I’m always satisfied with my meal when it isn’t too crowded. They are one of my favorite asian restaurants in the area. Enjoy yourself!
