Apparently the store was a victim of shoplifting so now they ask all costumers to check in their bags/​purses, which I was asked to do. Except two other women came in after me and they were not asked to do the same. One of the ladies had a bag smaller than mine but the other one was twice as big as mine. Anyway, no thank you, never going there again.

What a difference a location makes!
This is the new location of the liquor store that was on SE Burnside and 102nd. If you were ever there, you know what it was like. This new store is great. It’s a nice surprise to have a nice liquor store for this area, close to Montavilla and the Mall 205/​Gateway. It is in the same shopping center as the 205 McMenamins, FedEx, AT&T, near Target and Home Depot. Greta and her staff are friendly and knowledgable.
On to the good part! This store has exceptional choices. Local Portland spirits and Oregon spirits available, and also not often seen imports of liqueurs. A selection of bitters. A nice selection of cocktail Ingredients, such as cherries, salts, etc. A humidor. This store is small but full of treasures, and worth a stop to check it out or, it may just become your regular liquor store.

Lots of selection and very knowledgeable staff. Super friendly and great to talk to and ask questions. They don’t brush you off if you ask silly questions, they answer and don’t act like you are bothering them. So glad I tried it and I very much recommend it.
