Don’t take your car truck or anything there disrespectful and if anything happens to what they installed they will not fix it fuck them

DO NOT take your car here If you want a quality installation or respectful service!!! While the actual guy who does the installs definitely was very nice, unfortunately he is lacking in experience and know-​how. But the absolute worst is the salesman at the counter (Matt), He makes all these promises and I quote «Your car will sound phenomenal for $ 850» well it did sound phenomenal… phenomenally BAD/​HORRIBLE/​AWFUL!!! I return to the store the next day and Matt tells me «No, it’s fine, it sounds good, there’s nothing wrong» (so apparently he’s deaf), and I was clearly getting the vibe that this guy had been paid his cut out of my $ 850 bucks, and he pretty much didnt give a crap what it sounded like. When I tell him the blue tooth is now messed up he tells me «No its not, we didnt do it, you did it, or somethings wrong with your car then» (by the way my car’s a brand new challenger with 150 total miles on it so NO, its NOT my car, and NO I DIDNT do it!!!) After a couple days I just couldn’t take it anymore, it was almost painful to listen to, there was absolutely NO mid range sound, everything was coming only from the two tweeters in the dash, while you had this whole separate distorted bass coming from the trunk, and you had to turn the stereo volume up all the way up to max in order to just barely be able to hear the person on the other end when using the blue tooth. I ended up taking the car to Mobile West to get their opinion, and they instantly agreed something was most definitely WRONG! So after spending $ 850 at car stereo city for a so called «phenomenal system», I had to spend $ 150 more for someone else to go in and fix what car stereo city had done wrong-​which was pretty much everything regarding wiring and connections, to not adding crossover, to breaking some clips and then super gluing the covers over the tweeters so that you cant even get to them unless your prepared to break them.
Upon looking them up with the Better Business Bureau, an alert in red states the following, «According to information in the BBB files, it appears that the company is no longer in business. The phone numbers the BBB had for this company are disconnected, and directory assistance does not have a listing for this company. The BBB’s mail to this company has been returned as undeliverable. If you have an unresolved dispute with this company you may wish to seek legal advice.»
In the end, I ended up with a sub par sounding system, due solely to the fact that I received fairly low-​end equipment from car stereo city. I would NEVER, EVER go back to them to purchase anything!!!

I was looking for new 4 inch dash speakers for our 1995 e320 wagon — the driver side was blown. Stereo City had the best price by far and they got us in and out in under an hour. The install was perfect and the service was friendly. Good shop — I would go there again.

My experience at Car Stereo City was incredibly lousy .
I spent about 500.00 and 4 hours in a filthy waiting area on a beautiful Spring Saturday in order to get Blutooth and speakers for my Prius. I had great hopes for this place after reading most of the other reviews. So anyway, when I finally got back into car, I found that the air conditioning was totally defunct, as was the video screen that shows the climate control and fuel consumption data. I went back and told the guys and they spent about half an hour trying to fix it. I asked the manager – I think it was the manager – if they has worked Prius before and he vehemently asserted that they had and knew all about them. He finally said that on Monday he would call Toyota and find out if they knew what the problem.
Well, the short story is that he had «just forgotten «one important little detail about how to correctly install the system. When I took my car back they fixed it in about an hour. I guess I just wish he would have thought to say he was sorry about the in convince, time and stress they caused me. It would have really helped if he could have said just small little word that recognized how his forgetfulness had impacted me. He seemed either arrogant or clueless, I’m not sure which.

Overall I had a great experience from the moment I called the store all the to getting my system installed. I received fantastic customer service (especially from the manager) and great work at a great price. They installed a DVD head unit with navigation, new speakers, sub, 2 amps, a rear view camera, and mic for the Bluetooth all for WAY less than other places wanted to charge me. I think that Car Stereo City is awesome and plan on going back when I get a new system put into my SUV.

This place re-​did my wiring for my car and they did a good job. They charged me $ 80. I plan on going back for my audio needs.
