Eye Styles

I went here to get lenses for my frames and requested Zeiss lenses. My friend works at an optical shop in Miami and when he saw the lenses, he said they were not Zeiss and they overcharged me for the lenses I received.
It also took about 14 days to get my glasses back which was longer than the 7 – 10 days they told me initially. I was charged $ 150 dollars for my lenses from Eye Styles and another store in the neighborhood is charging me $ 85 with anti-​reflective coating on the Zeiss lenses I requested.
This place is very disappointing. I question if this is considered insurance fraud when a store charges someone for premium lens prices and not give the customer the lenses they requested (but have it on the bill as Zeiss and clearly, these were cheaper, crappier lenses on my frames…).
I will never return here for their overpriced products and the awful customer service. I will be contacting my insurance company and informing them of this issue with the company and having a product billed to my insurance for a lesser quality lens.

Visiting Portland from the Seattle area and was meandering the streets doing some window shopping. Alas… my weakness… an eyeglass store.
The space is so cozy with a great selection of frames. Sunglasses and eyeglass galore. They really have all types of styles, except ugly… I don’t think they carry that :)
I found an adorable pair of sunglasses while browsing. Emily who was working was great. She got my prescription from my eye doctor at home, took care of the insurance, and set them up to be shipped to my house once they are ready!
Can’t wait to rock ‘em!

I am visiting Portland from Georgia and broke my glasses. I chose Eye Styles because they are close by where I’m working but as far as I’m concerned, I’d drive across town to have the positive experience. They were so kind and helpful in fixing my glasses. I highly recommend Eye Styles based on my experience!

I am writing to amend my previous review of this location of Eye Styles. I’m leaving on a trip to Hawaii tomorrow and need my glasses to fit properly without hurting. I’ve been to this location 6 times in 2 days to get the proper fit. All three people I’ve worked with in the last two days have been nothing short of absolutely kind and helpful. I believe I worked again with the person I had worked with the previous time and she has been wonderful this time around: incredibly patient and kind! Although I’m still trying to get used to having looser frames (as opposed to the way I usually like them: so tight that they can sometimes give me headaches…), the employees here have been wonderful. Thank you! I hate being that person who is so picky (especially because I have not purchases frames here before. Yet!) and the employees here could not have been nicer or more accommodating.

I came here because it was a convenient location and they accepted my insurance. It’s a very small business. Everyone was friendly. I had a fine eye exam and ordered my contacts after a week of wearing a trial pair. I don’t think I would buy my glasses here, though. They have a fair amount of styles available, but not really my style.
