Simple, delicious gyro. The truck seemed quite clean and the staff was friendly. Wait was considerable, but the price was good. They do accept credit cards, but it will cost you more which is perfectly fine in my opinion. If you’re in the mood for Mediterranean fast food, this is the place.

Just got baba ganoush — (a humus type starter/dip of roasted eggplant)
For $ 5 a super generous tub of it (add nice warm pita for $ 1 extra), and it was the best I’ve ever had!!!
Very nice as a healthy lunch or take home as a starter.

Ever since I first had a gyro years ago in Berkeley, Ca, they have been a favorite of mine. While in Portland today, decided to get a gyro at this food truck. I have to say, there were a LOT of food trucks that served Gyros, and I have no idea how the rest of them stack up, but I can say the the one that I got at Gyro King was FANTASTIC. The bread was fresh, the meat perfectly spiced, and the sauces were fabulous. I wish I lived closer so that I could get one more frequently.
