Back again after 18 months with a new prescription. I still love the frames Addie helped me select last time, and guess what? It turns out it’s perfectly fine for me to have those frames filled with the new lenses. I don’t even have to give up the current specs, because Addie still has my current frames in stock, so she can have glasses made up for me and then just exchange the new lenses for the old.
I will spend less money than I expected, and I also got the pleasure of walking up to Addie’s welcoming shop and spending a little time in her friendly presence. What more could I ask?

Not only am I impressed with the quality of the product, the business as a whole and the location, but I am truly taken back by my entire experience.
No stone was left unturned in my quest to find some new eyewear. Addie patiently pulled frame after frame down for me (and several other customers, it was busy in there. Yet we all received equal and splendid attention). And she explained every detail of why or why they didn’t work for me. And was always encouraging my opinion.

I just received my second pair of glasses from LOOK/​SEE. That’s two pairs of glasses in two years and I’ve still spent less than the pair I bought at lens crafters (with insurance).

Addie knows what’s going on. She has a good eye and will work with you to find the the best frames. If you need thin lenses or tint, no problem. When you pick up your glasses she will make sure they fit perfectly. Of course you can always stop by after and get for face adjusted.
If you are a rise and wear or here and there glasses wearer, LOOK/​SEE allows you to have several pairs of high quality and stylish specs.

This place is a real treasure. The frames are fantastic quality, very stylish, and a good price to boot! But even better than the glasses that you come here for is the service from Addie. She is a real special kind of lady. She’ll light up your life! She is so helpful, and really knows what looks good on people. And if you are lucky, you’ll come on a day when she brings her little dog Choco. Real cute! EVERYONE should come here to get their frames!!!

I’ve been meaning to provide a review for LOOK/​SEE for so long! The service I’ve had since first coming here one year ago has been really remarkable. Addie is so helpful in determining the styles that best suit your face and she’s been awesome to work with. I’ve purchased two pairs of glasses from LOOK/​SEE so far and plan on buying more in the future! They hold up well and are so affordable. Plus, it’s always fun to stop by and simply try on new frames for fun. This is a great spot! Highly recommend checking it out.

I LOVE this place. This is the spot for unique frames. I love glasses and it’s my thing and I’ve been looking for so long for frames that aren’t your typical ones so when I found this place, I almost passed out. Our helper, Addie, was amazing and super helpful.
Regular frames were $ 99 and the super lightweight bendable ones were $ 149. This includes the lens already and anti-​glare. However, because my prescription is higher, it’s another extra $ 50 to put in thin lens.
You have to provide a prescription before the frames can be made. They cannot bill insurance but will give you something to send to insurance.
If you love frames as much as I do, you’ll love this place!!!

I placed an order almost a month ago and I’m still waiting for the glasses to come in. Originally, they told me it would take 7 — 10 days, but it’s closer to 3 — 4 weeks. The really disappointing thing is that I keep having to call and follow up. They SAY they’ll call their lab and get an ETA but so far I haven’t heard anything except apologies. Their frames are nice and the price point is good… but I’m losing confidence that I’ll get a quality product.

I’m going to go ahead and review this on behalf of my husband who isn’t a Unilocaler but recently went to Look/​See for some new glasses. Our one year old recently broke my husband’s glasses by mercilessly ripping them off of his face and throwing them on the ground. They were destroyed. I commiserated with my husband but inwardly rejoiced because I hated his old glasses. They were just so generic and boring. He wanted to get a new pair ASAP and I knew of Look/​See and suggested he start there. Addie was GREAT and very helpful. She set him up with some frames that he and, let’s be honest, more importantly I love. It would be hard not to come out of there with awesome glasses because all of their selection is stylish. The order was ready in week and it was incredibly reasonably priced! Super happy with the experience and I’m going to let my son destroy my glasses next so I have a reason to visit the shop. :)

I highly recommend this place. After looking everywhere for stylish high quality glasses I was stoked to find looksee. The problem with everywhere else was the fact that I was unwilling to pay $ 300 for frames plus lens cost. And going somewhere like Americas best didn’t give me the quality and style I wanted… so I was kind of stuck. Until I came across looksee and their affordable high quality glasses. Which are also designed and made locally, along with the lenses being made by a local company. They have an entire wall of $ 99 glasses that include the lens cost. They were all super stylish and chic.
Also, just an FYI when you’re looking for them on 13^th and Glisan they can be hard to spot. They’re upstairs in the building that Barista is in. Just go in and wander up to the second floor and you’ll see them.
All in all, if you’re looking for new glasses you gotta check this place out!

Received my glasses exactly 7 days after ordering. They are super chic and fabulous. Very satisfied!
