Mike’s Pruning and Tree Care

A neighbor hired Mike Tracy of Mike’s Pruning and Tree Care 2 – 3 wks ago and I saw what a good job they were doing so went to talk to Mike. He was happy to come and give me a free estimate on the spot and set up an appointment to trim my two cherries on front parking strip. He was thorough about talking through his vision, as well as asking what my expectations were. Mike and crew of two others were at my house — a few minutes early! — on day agreed upon. They were all very pleasant, and not only careful with the trees, but also the clean up. I was really impressed when after they were all packed up and tools put away they drove a couple feet, backed up and took the saw back out to prune a branch that was only spotted with the new vantage point once they had pulled out. Now thats thorough! I should add, these were two large old trees, needing quite a bit of TLC — price at $ 400. for both was incredibly reasonable. Mike even trimmed off some dead branches on a vine maple without charge. Really a nice person. I went on to hire him to prune two very large fruit cherries at my mother’s house in Oregon City. Just as fair, pleasant and thorough at her property. I will definately share Mike’s card!
