Great quality. Simple stylish design. Eco-friendly and guaranteed for life. Looking forward to the expansion of their line. Basically they specialize in cold-weather outerwear.

Sustainable clothing maker Nau once again opens their own store. Their philosophy is inspired by Michael Braungart and William McDonough’s Cradle To Cradle philosophy. That means their fibers to fabric to manufacturing to delivery is efficient and doesn’t produce harmful waste. And it is built to last. Their most important design thinking is that you can have a piece of clothing that can stand our rain, but arrive at the workplace, at a social event, or wherever you are going, in an elegant and professional way, that doesn’t scream I just got down from Mt Hood. The store is compact and caries a fraction of their line. You can see the whole line of their web site. It will rotate with the seasons, so they are opening with Winter rain gear and their upcycled down insulating layers. They collaborate with Snow Peak and have some joint designs from them on display. They also stock Nudie jeans. The store is a good place for Portlanders and Portland visitors to see some of the Nau catalog in person. It’s one of our Portland-based clothing makers.
