Building has been mostly demolished, and a wire fence surrounds the grounds. In other words, nothing much to see here anymore.

i’d driven by a hundred times and never noticed, but this time was different.
burnt graffiti covered walls, barbed wire, pane-​less windows, roofless skeleton, exposed reflective pool floors, an unintentional urban art masterpiece begging to be shot. so i did. so should you (if you’re into that sort of thing).

Joshua C I want to thank you for your photos in 2010 of the old Taylor Electric Supply Co. at Se2nd & Clay st Portland Or. In 2012 this was the location of my Urban Sketch Crawl and I shimmied into the inside and found the most wonderful creative graffiti in the Boiler Room now mind you I dislike graffiti in general but this was too beautiful not to sketch which I periodically post in my Facebook page (Angelika Silvia Butz). I have always hoped that whoever bought this site would keep the Boiler Room as is but alas it is now Stacked Sandwich Shop inside the Clay Creative Corporate Office on 240 SE Clay St. However Clay Creative did keep the N/E corner of the Taylor Electric Supply Co with professional graffiti but at least they kept part of the old building alive. Joshua, you are more than welcome to check out my sketch of the Boiler Room as it was in 2012 guaranteed to blow your mind at the creativity of the graffiti artists that thankfully did not destroy this room.
