Organic Bronze Bar

Might possibly be the best spray tan I have ever gotten! Usually you can tell in a spot or two that it’s a spray tan but not here. It’s a little more expensive than regular spray tans but completely worth the extra money! This place is amazing!

I, like everyone else, have had my share of awkward spray tan experiences, but none quite as uncomfortable and miserable as my experience at Organic Bronze Bar.
While the quality of the tan was fine, the quality of customer service (which I believe to be the most important part in a tanning experience) at Organic Bronze Bar was not.
I was «greeted» by Iman, who seemed very distracted and unhappy to be there. I felt that Iman could not have cared less about my spray tan and overall satisfaction with the company. She was very rude, pushy and unaware of her client, so I was shocked to learn that she is a manager! Shouldn’t the manager be an example and role model for the store and company?
I left Organic Bronze Bar with a bad taste in my mouth and I can’t say that I will ever return.

For the past year I have been a member of Organic Bronze Bar tanning salon. I pay $ 70 a month for tans. Yesterday I walked into the salon 6 minutes late for my spray tan and was rudely confronted by one of your managers. She couldn’t have told me in a more disrespectful tone that she would not spray me because she couldn’t get behind schedule. Ironically, exactly one week prior, my appointment time got messed up online and I had to wait 20 minutes for a spray tan. This same woman who refused to spray me yesterday apologized that day and I said to her, «no worries. These things happen.» I asked to be treated the same way I treat others. I have always been proud to say I am sprayed at Organic Bronze Bar and try to refer as many women as possible. As of last night, I am so disappointed in the actions of an associate that I can not bring myself to spend another dollar in the store. I have also called multiple locations asking for a manager besides the woman who treated me so rudely last night to call me, and not one person has gotten back to me. I need to make sure the charges for this month have been taken off my statement and I would like the owner to know how her employees are treating customers. I am so sad to say this because the majority of the employees always do a great job.

I came to organic bronze bar to spray tan for my trip to Las Vegas. I did not have a very good experience. For $ 50 I would expect an even tan that lasted a few days. I did not have this experience. I didn’t sweat or shower for 8 hours after my tan was applied. As soon as I rinsed off, my tan very faded, I was defiantly not as dark as I wanted to be, I chose the medium tan too (I don’t even like being that dark). What was left of the tan was okay, until you came to my knees. They were white, the solution must have worn off or something, but my knees looked silly, even my boyfriend was wondering why my legs looked «funny». I have experienced a tan just like this in the cheaper versa beds, where the machines spray you. Last time I spray tanned, I went to Eclipse where a lady used a hand held device to apply it. The tan was amazing and lasted, no streaks. I was expecting about the same experience since this place was more money. I was very disappointed in this place. Defiantly not worth $ 50!

I’m a regular tanning customer here and have never had an issue bringing my small, well behaved dog along with me. Today while waiting in the lobby one of the stylists made a big production and told me to take my dog outside. I was stunned and did so, but her rude demeanor will keep me from coming back. Poor customer service.

Very nice spa. Clean, professional, and my airbrush tan turned out very nice. I felt comfortable with my Esthetician and she was very thorough with her work. I wish I could remember her name… tall pretty blonde gal… I used a groupon and it was worth it! Thinking about getting laser hair removal there next:) thank you OBB! I’ll be back.

I’ve come a few times for an airbrush tan prior to an event. I’ve never done airbrush or spray tanning elsewhere so my knowledge is limited to what I’ve heard from friends. This place is expensive. But I think they do a great job and are very friendly and professional.

This place is ok… the employees are nice and the facility is very clean. I’m giving 3 stars because the last 2 times I have been spray tanned, it turned out blotchy after 3 – 4 days. This service is too expensive to not be damn near perfect. I will go back when I’m in town because it’s something fun for my sister and I to do together. However, I have had better results from the VersaTan machine at a place I go to in Bellevue.

I love this place. I’ve gone a few times with appointments (a must) in advance of trips to warmer locals. I’ve gotten many compliments on how the tan turned out — most people cannot believe it is ‘fake’ airbrush tan. All of the women who work here are super friendly and they make you feel comfortable while you’re getting the treatment done. They are thorough and knowledgeable about their products too — how cool is it that this stuff is organic, by the way? I never leave feeling stinky or gross; the tan lasts for up to a week and doesn’t streak off or dry out the skin. I think that this place is a great value and is defrinitely a better quality than a plain old Mystic tan.

Nice experience! They airbrush you in a private room. You can get as nekkid as you wanna. It takes about 10 – 15 minutes and the color will develope over the rest of the day. The color includes a bronzer so you leave with some color while your tan is developing, then the bronzer washes off at your next shower.
I was sprayed by Rebecca who was super nice. I was never made to feel icky about my less-​than-​perfect body (that I am insanely insecure about). The tan is still here 6 days later. I’m really really trying to eke it out to 14 days, they say between 5 – 7 is typical.
If you join as a member, you get two spray tans for $ 40/​mo. The colors are customizable. My custom color request was «noticeable but not orange and go light on my face, just in case, thanks!». I came out tan and beautiful – No Orange! They do great work. Post July Fourth, a lot of people commented how I looked great and tan and must’ve done something fun without burning. Yup. Stood 80% naked in a booth with a stranger and SPF 85 with Helioplex! My little secret, I guess!
& the tech told me there’s a parking garage that validates with purchase for 30 minutes so that is very valuable intel for my next visit.
Oh and you can book online which is awesome if you generally avoid phone calls as I do.
Minus: the location is awkward to get to & it shares a salon space with something next door so make sure you go into the right shop. It’s sort of under the Hawthorne bridge, on the boardwalk (never knew we even had a boardwalk!).
Great experience, nice way to safely (?) add color for summer!

I tried Organic Bronze Bar last week before my trip to Las Vegas. I’ve done the Mystic Tan thing before, but wanted to try something different and more natural. Excellent results! The technician was very informative and made me feel comfortable. The procedure was quick, thorough, and the coverage was amazing. I have olive skin naturally, so the tech selected a 10 (the shades range from level 5 for the lightest to level 12 as the darkest).
After the tan, I put on a zip-​up hoodie, and during my walk home, the back of the zipper rubbed a white spot on my chest. I freaked out, thinking I had rubbed off the spray tan only minutes after getting it. But I went to bed, hoping for the best. After my shower the next morning, there was no white spot at all, just even coverage.
Great results. Natural-​looking, no streaks, very even coverage… even under my arms and on my neck & face. I would highly, highly recommend it to anyone. And a happy hour tan is only $ 35 (same price as a Mystic). I’ll never do a standard spray tan again!

Went there yesterday to get a little base for my trip to Mexico tomorrow. Had a groupon which defintiely helped!
The place is a little hard to find. When I mapped it on google it said it was down near the Residence Inn however — it is all the way down the riverwalk almost to RIverplace the opposite direction of the Residence Inn.
The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Had a glass of wine while I was waiting. It’s a little uncomfortable taking all my clothes off in front of a stranger and then being sprayed with an airbrush but hey — the gal was extremely nice and helped to make me feel comfortable. The results this morning are perfect. It also didn’t smell too bad as other experiences I have had.

I got married in Portland and wanted to have someone come to my hotel and spray me down. I’m pale as all get out and didn’t want to blend into my dress. I’m not sure if they do it a lot but for an extra charge they came to my hotel, sprayed me in the bathroom and it turned out GREAT. The formula they use is very brown and not orange, smells great and I’m still looking at it after 11 days, even through a honeymoon with saltwater, chlorinated water and hiking. I’m sure if I used my scrub it would come off, but it’s stayed much longer than I anticipated. Probably helped that I had a Korean scrub a couple of days before… :-)
$ 50 for custom airbrush is great, especially since I’m used to LA prices. Read their website and take their advice on how to prepare and make it last.

Love, love, love this place. Went in a little nervous to be nekkid in a room w/​a stranger with a spray gun-​but it was not nearly as awkward as I thought. Girl who sprayed me was nice, friendly, funny and tan. She sprayed me a «10» and within 5 minutes I was bronze, a natural looking tan color looking more like I went to the Tahiti than I belong on Jersey Shore. I will be coming back and likely signing up for a package for the summer.

I have tried getting spray on tans from all all sorts of places like Tan Down Under and Tan Rio and and most of them all turned funky orange colors not appearing real or I would get weird streak marks. This is the first place I have gone that it actually looked natural and had NO streaks or orange unnatural color on my skin. Also the girls who work there are super nice and helpful.

A friend told me about the Organic Bronze bar last winter, and I’m so glad she did. I have had my share of spray tan horror stories that left me streaky and orange… so of course I was a little hesitant at first.
I was pleasantly surprised at how wonderful my tan came out! The ladies that work there were so friendly and nice, my tan was applied evenly, and I was a gorgeous shade of golden for new years! I definitely recommend this place:)
