I make a point of coming here.
They sell cheap gas and are interesting people.
The guy inside addresses every customer as «my friend,» seemingly without guile or artifice.
This is equivalent to the «hon– honey» you may earn at your favorite greasy spoon breakfast joint.
There may be a cultural thang going on that’s perceived as aloofness, but hell– you’re just buying gas– you’re not dating them.

Cheap gas and that’s it! One of the cheapest stations in town… Totally no-​frills! They’re not friendly/​helpful and it’s best if you pay in cash.
