I brought some old Wayfarers in to get adjusted. They’re old. Easily from the 80s or 90s. Before Luxottica bought Ray-Ban from Bausch & Lomb in 1999. I didn’t know this history before this afternoon. I read all this online. I found this out after a really awkward and uncomfortable situation where the two employees condescendingly insisted my glasses were knockoffs. They could try to adjust them but ya know, sometimes with cheap sunglasses the plastic is just junk and they will often break. But hey, whoever made these at least used glass lenses! The dude tweaked my frames a little but I could have used more adjustment. I just wanted to fucking leave at this point. This is probably what I get for going to the mall.

I’ve been looking for a pair of Ray Bans that actually fit my huge head. The service team was amazing! Super friendly and full of knowledge. I found the perfect pair and learned how I can go about having a prescription put in and even be reimbursed for costs. Big thanks guys!!! I wish I had garnered names as to include them here. I went in Tuesday afternoon, April 192016. Seriously great guys! Thanks!

My sister and I had a Ray Ban emergency today Amanda saved the day. She was very friendly when we called to see if we could get a pair of glasses repaired(unbent). We got to the store, and she happily and competently straightened them :) What a pleasure to find someone like her that was so upbeat and skilled! We will surely be back for a new pair of glasses. Great customer service Amanda! Thanks!

So, the short version is I walked in and the employee put a really nasty scratch on my brand new very expensive lenses. Now, I’m normally not the type to run home and write a nasty Unilocal review, but it really was that bad, and, well, here I am. I got polarized mirrored light weight prescription tinted lenses put in an old frame,(the coatings alone on these lenses cost about $ 160,) but when the lenses got put in the frame, the frame cracked, so I went to see if Sunglasses Hut still had the same frames so I could put the new lenses in a new frame. Right after walking in, the employee offers to clean and tighten the screws on my glasses, which I though was nice of him/her/them. When I get them back, I see a deep, thick scratch on the right lens by the screw(also the lenses were actually dirtier than they were, because they were brand new anyway.) The employee saw me staring at the scratch and took the glasses and tried to wipe it off as if it was a smudge. It wasn’t a smudge, so that didn’t really help. So do I get a gift card or anything to recoup the damage? Of course not, even though I bet they could afford it. Do I even get an apology? Nope. Don’t let these people touch any glasses you’re too attached to.

Stopped in here on Monday during the holiday to pick up some sunglasses. The selection is great and the staff was friendly and knew all the products well. Will be back again. Love the Sunglass hut policy on repairs and purchasing new classes if they need to be repaired.

Bought some glasses at a Sunglass Hut a couple of years ago. Of course I pull them out this month and they are all tweaked, falling off my face. How does that happen? So what do I do? Throw them out? Buy a new pair? No I took them here. The guy working there was very nice and adjusted my glasses, tested them out on my face and cleaned them up. He made some suggestions to my husband who was looking around but was not pushy about trying to get us to buy anything.

Black. Tortoise. Black. Tortoise Black. Tortoise. Oh my god, this is surely the hardest decision I’m ever going to have to make. Good thing I had the services of one very helpful Sunglass Hut employee. Girl knew what she was talking about! She helped me eliminate the larger frames, to which I’d typically tend, but«they cover too much of your bangs» which are«too cute to cover up.» A wise woman knows to compliment another’s bangs. She also talked to me about lenses and which ones were trendier, which I would have had no idea about(nor probably cared, but still… good to know). And we agreed the black were more classic, but is that what I want? Oh the subtleties of eyewear. She was also kind enough to direct me to three mirrors of different sizes so that I might continue my black vs. tortoise debate at length and didn’t show any signs of annoyance or impatience. Don’t mind if I do! Seriously, I don’t go to a mall and expect superior customer service, but this girl totally knew what she was talking about, was supremely helpful and sympathetic to my plight, and made me feel like I made the right choice(but if I didn’t, they have a super return policy). Tortoise. Most certainly.
