This was my third trip to the Showcase and my third great experience.
I think the previous reviewer did an excellent job summing things up. To recap briefly, it is the exact same set-​up each year. There is a rather large silent auction area – I thought auction items were a little more alluring in past years. Many different wine and cheese vendors – most of which are local to the NW. I find the selection changes slightly each year which is nice. There is also always a buffet area with non-​cheese items such as prime rib, chicken, veggies, etc.
The event tends to attract a younger crowd, mostly professionals. People tend to get a little dressed up for the event as well. I find the event is never too crowded and there is some limited seating as well.
All in all, you can’t do better for $ 40. With the added bonus that the Showcase benefits the Boys and Girls Club this is an event everyone should check out at least once.
