You wont find a better breakfast in Baton Rouge. This family owned restaurant has an extensive menu of dishes that are always well executed. The entire staff are friendly and welcoming to all. I have eaten here over 100 times and have never had a bad meal.

Filling tasty breakfast served by old school waitresses. We sat at the bar and were impressed by the flow of the kitchen and staff. Everything was at least average or better. The coffee was fantastic and so were the Mexican hash browns. My omelette was a little too greasy for me. I would definitely come back. The store in the front reminded me of back home.

I love this place. It is nice to have a place to go for dinner and drinks in Ascension Parish on my way home from work. The ribeye was amazing and they had a nice reasonably price wine selection. Their salads are good too.

It was mediocre and the service was ok. Not a wow experience by any means. I had the pancake platter and the pancakes were tough. They should redo their menu and have better options

If not, probably one of the better places to have breakfast around Baton Rouge, well a mean Prairieville. Great breakfast fair, smiling faces and great service. Love me some of them very fluffy homemade biscuits and the gator sausage is awesome. I just wish the Baton Rouge locations was as good as this one.

My dad and I came in a little while ago for brunch. He had something like a Tennessee omelet off I remember correctly, and I had eggs Benedict. Hands down the best eggs Benedict I’ve ever had. Two buttermilk biscuits, a thick slice of ham steak, perfectly poached eggs, and a hollandaise sauce with a Cajun kick! I was full half way through but couldn’t stop eating till I was done because it was so delicious! My dad felt the same way about his meal. He frequents the place, so some of the employees already knew him and greeted both of us when they passed our table. The store in the front has a lot of cute knick knacks, art, and scented candles. Family friendly atmosphere, great food, cute souvenirs, well probably be back next week!

My boyfriend and I have been here and it was very tasteful. There is definitely a down home, country style swing to this place. They have great meat, that is cooked to perfection. The burgers taste great, they also have great club sandwiches. This is a pretty good place to go.

What happened to this place? This used to be one of my go to breakfast spots. I called in a to go order and the lady was pleasant and told me it would be ten minutes, and it was. The lady who checked me out was also nice. But the food?! I just paid $ 6.99 for shrimp grits and there were only three shrimp in the cup(the cup was difficult to eat out of) and they had tails on them. I also ordered the biscuits and gravy(my fav) and though the portions were large, the whole thing lacked flavor. I think I’m going to have to stay away for a while and hope they get back to the way they used to be– delicious.

The biscuits were awesome and so was our waitress Baylee! This was our second time coming for breakfast… will definitely be back! I ordered the fresh pan sausage platter with cheese grits and scrambled eggs. It came with two biscuits and I could only manage to eat one. My mom ordered the country fried steak biscuits. Very crispy and full of flavor. Awesome job Frank’s!

Bottomless mimosas are great. I went here for brunch one day with my mom. They have healthy and simple options to really non healthy options but mouthwatering for sure. I like how there’s a shop where you can buy small things before you get to the hostess stand. Our waitress was super friendly & helpful. I had an all egg white veggie omelette. It was good but I tried my moms biscuit & gravy dish & I ate the rest it was so good. One of my friends said that their Benedict is the best so when I go back I will definitely try it.

Our lunch was subpar but we will return to try them for breakfast next time. Nice family style atmosphere and service was adequate.

This place is like a better quality, more authentic version of a Cracker Barrel, but with a Louisiana twist. Food: We had breakfast here, and it was outstanding. They are not joking about the quality of the biscuits, and I am a biscuit connoisseur. I had the green onion sausage platter, and the sausage was excellent as well. The bacon was also top notch. Everything was reasonably priced, and the selection is huge. Ambiance: Like a cross between a country diner and a Cracker Barrel. There’s a little store in the front with Louisiana-themed items, and the place has old farming tools and such on the walls. It’s not a fancy place, but it’s clean and comfortable. It’s the kind of place where the waitresses call you«honey,» and there’s local artwork on the walls. Service: Top notch. The hostess was friendly and we were seated quickly. The waitress was also friendly and efficient. The food came out quickly, and the waitress checked on us multiple times to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall, I think this might be the best breakfast experience I’ve had in the Baton Rouge area. We will definitely be back, and I’m eager to try their lunch and dinner menus.

I have tried Frank’s several times now because it’s so close to home. The breakfast is good… not great. Definitely don’t go for the bar-b-q. The burgers are the best thing I’ve had here so far. My daughter is a burger lover, and ranks these pretty high. The service is usually very slow. This is usually the go to place when I’m out numbered by a burger craving that hits the family!

Draft found in my Unilocal from months ago. Don’t know why it didn’t post… I have not received my food yet and I already hate this place. Feels like I went to a strangers house and asked if I could borrow a can of corn. Worst service in town.

I have only tried the breakfast which is darn good in my book. The biscuits is what you are aiming for. They are homemade, huge and delicious. The shrimp and grits were good but the pancakes were the bomb. I will write a better review once I can get off of the breakfast menu! The staff is amazing. We met the owner, Mr. Frank, and it was truly a pleasure.

I typically do not eat fried foods, but sometimes that craving will just jump at me like the«Bushman» in Fisherman’s Wharf in San Francisco! My husband and I shared the fried shrimp po-boy and it was amazing… large pieces of shrimp covered with a very zesty batter! I usually do not need to order multiple courses from a menu in order to give a fair rating. I figured placing something on the menu is a chef’s best foot forward. I would never feature something on a menu that I am not proud of. So, I usually like to order recommended dishes and can usually give restaurant a fair rating from just trying that. My husband and I only ordered 2 things from the menu, plus a kids meal and were impressed by it all… good stuff & large portions, too! Why not 5-star? The restaurant needs some updating, but hey, I was not there for the ambiance; however, that does count for some to enhance their overall dining experience, so I had to account for it!

After weekly luncheons with club meetings, I can only say that I would only recommend Frank’s breakfast menu. The lunches are subpar at best. Dry, dry and more dry whether it was the meatloaf, chicken dinners, or barbeque platter. Everyone raves about the biscuits and gravy but again, subpar and dry. The atmosphere is very casual and great place for family breakfast with the kids. We had our own waitress and separate room for meetings which is nice for groups or if you need a meeting place. It’s a take off of the chain Cracker Barrel with items for sale in the entrance, but not near the selection or caliber of items. oes not have the caliber of quality or selection of items.

4 ½ stars. Thanks to Unilocal I found Frank’s before teeing off for a round of golf. Once entering the parking lot I knew this place was solid due to the number of cars in the private parking lot. We opted to sit in the bar BC we didn’t want to be late for our tee time and the joint was buzzing busy for a Sunday mid am. I opted for the chicken fried steak & eggs with gravy, grits, and home made biscuits. When my food arrived my friendly waitress bought me several plates BC all the food wouldn’t fit on just one! The biscuits were were ginormous and delish with the in house made gravy. I also tasted the boudin sausage which was a hit too. Check out my entrée: If and when I’m in Prairieville I’ll definitely hit up Franks again and would certainly recommend them anytime of the day.
