I have had lunch here several times. It has been consistently very good. The sandwiches and fries are fresh, not greasy. The service has been great every time.
My spouse came for breakfast once and said it was very good too. I am glad we have a good choice of restaurant on this end of town. Maybe someday they will start serving dinner too. If so, i hope it stays simple and fresh.

I stop for lunch today and was very disappointed.

The philly sub was burnt and on a stale roll.
Takes to long to be seated.
The place was not busy for the lousy service and burnt food.

My hubby and I have been to the Back Burner several times and have always been pleased. One of the best breakfast places in this area. The food is great with healthy portions and they also offer fruit instead or bread or hash browns which is great for those of us reducing our carbs. The staff is friendly and the service is quick and very attentive. The restaurant is clean and also has outdoor seating when the weather permits. Consistently scrumptious food and the cinnamon rolls look yummy. Even when it is busy they are quick to work you in and get you a table.

Came here for Father’s Day this year because the whole family raved about how great this place was. Ordered a meal with no eggs (due to an allergy) and when it came to the table you could tell there had been eggs in it and they had «picked» them out. I was disappointed because all the meal had was hash browns (country potatoes) and not many of them, bell peppers and onions (looked like a whole onion and bell pepper was used) and then a side of meat. Very disappointed in the meal. I would probably have tried this place again (not on a holiday) but with the whole egg being picked out instead of not put in like I requested, I just can’t bring myself to go again.

Tortilla is an option offered with your eggs! I was won over. I love breakfast meals I could eat it anytime, and this place definitely satisfied my egg addiction (don’t worry I’m working on it). Oh and yes the cinnamon roll is divine.

The food was over the top amazing. The rodondo was fabulous, the biscuits and gravy was right on and the 5 car breakfast was delicious. Little gem in the middle of what seems like nowhere aka hidden secret. Will definitely return when in town The service was superb and the waitress definitely went above and beyond in providing customer service to us. Thanks Callie.

Meh it’s was meh
I had high hopes but everything lacked flavor. The wait was long which was crazy because we went Around 1030 on a Monday. The cinnamon roll wasn’t that impressive, the biscuits and gravy were bland and our first batch was very badly burnt. I had a scramble, it was a HUGE portion and lacked flavor. I give a few stars to the service. When we mentioned the burnt gravy she immediately got us a new batch. Also the hash browns are not what you would expect. Thick shreds of potato barley cooked.
Just go to Jamie’s, it’s much better!

Breakfast for lunch (or supper) has always been a favorite meal for me. When we walked in the first thing that caught our eye was the homemade sweet rolls as big as a frisbee.
Today I gave in to my southern roots and had chicken fried steak with gravy, eggs, hash browns and a biscuit the size of a small plate. It was awesome!
We are moving to this neighborhood in Prescott Valley next month and we’ve already decided this is going to be a regular stop. They only serve breakfast and lunch but that’s okay. I’ll be back.
