Prescott Municipal Airport – PRC

I’m reviewing the actual airport from an aircraft owner’s point of view. The hangars are great, prices are incredible (coming from LA) and the management was exceptional. In fact, the day I brought my plane from LA permanently, my wife was driving back from LA so I was in Prescott hours before she was. I had planned to take a taxi but the airport staff ended up giving me a ride home. Not just anyone but the airport manager. The airport staff quickly adjusted the folding doors on the hangar for my plane and when I accidentally tried to open the door with one of the latches still in place, they quickly came out and fixed the door without hassling me. Compared to Torrance Airport (where we came from), it was night and day. If you’re considering basing your plane at Prescott, definitely check it out!
