Hampton Inn

Beautiful renovated hotel with all modern amenities. The exterior lighting is gorgeous on the building — you can see it from miles away. The interiors are very clean and comfortable. Great service. I appreciate the table top outlets and USB chargers in each room. The beds and linens are cozy. I would absolutely stay here again!

This is one of our favorite hotels anywhere! After staying here a handful of times, our foursome only has a few minor things we’d like to see improved upon: an exhaust fan in the bathroom (gets extremely stuffy after taking a shower), a mini fridge & microwave in the room in case you have leftovers from eating locally (or at least a microwave in the lobby area), & a snack vending machine where the pop machine is (sometimes you just need crackers or a candy bar). Other than that, we have zero complaints! ALL hotel staff members are very courteous & helpful! We also loved that, since this particular stay was Halloween weekend, the ladies working the breakfast area made things feel festive by being in costume! Sometimes it’s the simplest touches that make for a memorable experience!

The staff, from concierge to housekeeping, we’re professional, polite, friendly and at all times helpful. The facilities were clean and well kept, with a pool and in room charging stations that were incredibly useful and should serve as a model for all hotels. The only complaints I have are that the toilets were a bit difficult to flush, low flow or something like that, and the shower hot water took half a minute to turn on, and if it got too hot it took another half a minute to turn off. Slightly frustrating, but not the end of the world.

Very nice hotel. Very friendly staff. Very affordable prices. Here for two nights for a local marathon and glad I chose this place. I got a room on the 5^th floor right near the elevator (preference per Hilton online account) — and they had the room ready before 3PM. :)

No issues here, the room was really clean, looked nice, pool was great! Walking distance to restaurants, everyone was super nice! The continental breakfast was the bomb! They had eggs, omelets, bacon, create your own waffles, fruit, cereal, toast, cinnamon rolls, etc! Lots to choose from! The lady changing the food to bring fresh out was very nice. We also loved the swimming pool. The room was quiet, heard small noises, but was comfortable and slept through the night with no issues! My children loved it so much as did we, so we will definitely be back!

One of the nicest hotels I’ve stayed in to not be a «luxury hotel»! Super nice staff, really nice rooms w/​all the amenities I’d expect a hotel room to have, inviting lobby/​sitting area, great breakfast (Belgian waffles, eggs, sausage gravy & biscuits, French toast sticks, fresh fruit, yogurt, assorted pastries, cereal & milk, juice, & coffee – very pleased!), very clean & quiet but not «dead». The ONLY drawback I could find was if you need 2 beds as we did, they only offer doubles & not queens – my hubby & I are «full-​figured» & sleep in a king at home, so the sleeping was a bit tight, but still comfortable over all. And I noticed another review mentioned the lack of a mini fridge &/​or microwave – there ARE rooms available that have both amenities, you just have to pick the correct one. We will definitely stay here again in the future!

The property was nice. The people were friendly. The room was great. The fitness center was very small and I truly would have appreciated some weights vice just the cardio equipment. Additionally, and I guess I’m coming to realize this is standard for Hampton :-(I really was disheartened about not having a small frig in my room. I have dietary restrictions so I carry food with me but even if I didn’t, travelers sometimes have left overs they’d like to keep cold. I was supposed to stay for four nights but checked out after only one.

Stayed here in the last few days and really had a wonderful experience. We didn’t have much of a chance to see the surrounding area because we were just passing through, but the beautiful mountains around us was enough for now. Our room was clean and spacious with a very comfortable bed. The fitness room was small but sufficiently equipped with a treadmill, bicycle, elliptical, weighted balls, large balance ball, water cooler and towels. They probably should have put a small set of dumbbells in the corner with some cleaning wipes for the machines and that would have made the room complete. The breakfast /​lounge /​TV area was very spacious and very well stocked during breakfast service. As with all the Hampton Inns or at least the ones that we’ve visited, I think they could improve on their hot dishes, especially the eggs. They taste a bit artificial. The indoor pool was crystal clear and the area around it was very well maintained. Not pet friendly, unlike other hotels in this chain, only assistance animals, so check before you book as this chain varies in their pet policy. All in all, it really was a very nice place to stay!

I recently went to WVa to visit my family. I don’t usually stay at Hampton Inns, but this was the best hotel available in the area. My number one thing with any hotel is how clean it is. The bed was perfect! Fresh, crisp, white and clean! Pillows were awesome. Small fitness center, but I was too busy to use it anyway. Nice free hot breakfast which was super convenient since we had a baby traveling with us. I will definitely stay here again!
