I have to say that every time we have ate here it has been really good. I eat Paleo and gluten free and they cater to my needs. One of our favorite places.

Very slow night, ate at the bar… The service was decent. Ordered Lemon Chicken… The asparagus was good but the chicken was SO salty I couldn’t finish it. And it had NO lemon butter flavor as advertised. Poorly run chain joint.

1st impression was ok. Unfortunately, they took us by the kitchen where could see in on the way to being seated. Filthy floors and cluttered mess. Obviously a lack of care and concern by the manager. Sometimes hole in wall places are good. Not so with this one. Steak tough, ribs dry and unflavorful, onion petal appetizer substandard,. Best parr of the meal was the side salad. Bathrooms… Whoever they are paying to clean doesn’t have the word clean in their vocabulary! Spend a couple more dollars and«run» to outback!!!

Beer was good. That was it. Sat at Bar hoping for quicker service. Wrong. Had to ask for appetizer and then had to ask for our salads after we got served our main course. Steak was good.

We are passing through the area. Since the Texas steakhouse was in walking distance from the hotel were staying, we thought it was worth trying out. The Texas teas consisted mostly of lemon lime concentrate. I tried the Long Island then tried the beach tea. They were only 4 dollars. I guess you get what you pay for. I would order the beers next time. They had many to choose from. Our steaks were good and cooked to our liking. The service was very very slow. Would go there again if I stay in walking distance of a hotel. I would order beer and expect that I may be there a while.

Not impressed at all… just sat down and showed then the check in offer for a free blooming petals appetizer, and the waitress said she didn’t know about it. Went to check with the manager, and he said they don’t offer that here. My guest asked what the«Long Beach Tea» was, and she said«it’s like the long island, but beachy». I wanted to write this review before I got the food, because I don’t like leaving 1 star reviews for anyone… UPDATE: I jumped the gun. There was a misunderstanding, and they ended up honoring the check in bonus. Additionally, the food was very good! It ended up being all you can eat rib night, and they were super tender, moist, and delicious! Our server, Chelsey, was the shining star, though… she was helpful, accommodating, and attentive… you could tell she genuinely cares about her customers!

This place is awesome! First they have free wifi, and to get the password you ask the waiter. Mine was nice when giving it to us. To start you get free yummy rolls! I had a steak and fries and I was so hungry, I got another steak and a sweet potato. The steak was too rare for me, so they sent it back and cooked it to my liking. Our waitress was so nice! It is right across from the Hamton Inn.

Sunday at 4pm, there were 6 of us, not crowded. Terribly slow, not the fault of the waitress. She wasn’t very with it though, stuff just piled up and up on our table. Food was sub par. 2 Of us got filets, but couldn’t tell the difference between the 6oz and the 8oz. I also got garlic parmesan potatoes, these were absolutely disgusting and barely resembled food. I’m sure if I complained they would have done something but I wasn’t about to wait another eternity for more D– food. Don’t go here, really, go somewhere else. There are many other options nearby.

Excellent… and Alyssa is an outstanding server. (Unless I add more words, Unilocal bugs me to complete my review, so… Blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah lah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah. There.)

I had eaten here about six years prior, and the food was very good. On this visit(passing through from out of town), I only sat at the bar, and I didn’t order food. I’m posting this review, because I want to applaud the place on offering about 15WV beers from breweries across the state. I realize that Texas is a chain, so I was greatly impressed that this location’s management thought outside the box, both promoting the state economy and small businesses, and also offering something unique to passersby. We stayed in a nearby hotel, and we visited the bar two out of three nights(would have been three out of three, if we’d known about the local beers), to sample what West Virginia breweries have to offer. We were highly impressed with the selection, and will definitely return on our next trip through Princeton to sample other varieties. And next time, we’ll make room for dinner!

The service is terrible. Waiters avoid you and don’t communicate if there’s a problem. Kids plates over priced. Drinks are extra. Couldn’t find my chicken on the chicken sandwich. The meat was low grade. Now we know why… No roadkill driving in. Keep driving. A bag of combos would have been better.

The food was excellent except the crab cakes were just fair. Good service, maybe a bit too chatty. I asked the hostess about their veteran’s discount, and it was automatically applied to our bill when we went to pay. Our disabled vet felt good about thaT.

Stopped here after a long ride through WV and KY. I don’t eat meat, but all my friends wanted to come here. I had the Salmon, which was great, served with baked potato and salad. Service was great too.

Meh. I was not impressed. Service was fine. Place was clean for the most part. Portions were small, we had a free onion for checking in. That was good. Then we ordered a full order of cheese fries. We got what I would call a side order. We mentioned it and the manager brought over a side order for free.(same amount). Rolls are tasty. My cheezy chicken was small and sort of cheesy. Overall, I would keep driving.

The food a drinks are mediocre and the service was absolutely horrible. 2 ½ hours later we finally got our bill. No matter how many times you call us «honey» «sweetie» or darling it doesn’t change the crappy service.

I came in here on my most recent trip. What I saw was… actually quite ghastly. All the character has been completely stripped from what it used to be. Gone are the giant buffalo heads, stuffed bobcats and strangely posed jackrabbits that once stared disapprovingly at your not-so-vegetarian meal. They have been replaced with a very monotonous shade of(what I’ve personally dubbed) ‘dirty pueblo hut’ and some non-descript designs on the wall. It’s so boring in here that I’m almost positive I saw someone taking a nap on their sizzlin’ skillet. I was disappointed until I opened the menu and saw the prices. Everything was extremely cheap(but I’ll admit to having been exposed to inner city prices like Marie Curie was to radiation) and my excitement returned. In spite of the gawking stares of my grandparents, whom have never witnessed me take a drink in my entire life, I ordered one of those beautiful blue margaritas. It was refreshingly delicious and huge. You can’t come here without ordering the cheese fries. They’re a prerequisite that you don’t question. As such, we went with those for an appetizer to split. I decided to go for the 12oz ribeye and my mom got one of the steak skillets. If I hadn’t been with my grandparents enjoying all the reminiscing that was taking place, I would’ve most certainly sent the food back. The steak was a hair thicker than a breakfast variety and heavily laden with seasoned salt(you could see the bright red of it on the grey steak backdrop). It was tough, sinewy and saltier than the rim on my margarita. The two sides – the green beans and the mushrooms – were inedible, as well. They were both mushy, flavorless and straight from a can. My mom seemed disappointed with the sizzlin’ skillet which, amusingly enough, arrived not sizzlin’. The steak was tough, the potatoes were undercooked and it was sitting in a pile of unreduced broth. Everything here seems like it’s asleep. This place is an extremely far cry from what it used to be from the décor to the food.

Although it didn’t quite compare with an actual experience in Texas, it was probably as close as you’re going to get in the mountains of West Virginia. Only complaint was the salsa was not hot(might as well have been tomato sauce) & couldn’t get a jalapeño to save my life! Recommend adding some spice to your life & maybe a few more Texas Flags! REMEMBERTHEALAMO!!!
