Make a reservation if you can. We came here on a recommendation without a reservation on Sunday. It was packed. Bar seats are made for reservations as well. The upside is you can order a drink and head out to the deck, lounge and enjoy the beautiful view. We had about a 25 minute wait. We ordered the French onion soup. To die for! Sinful!!! I had the seafood risotto. The lobster, scallops, shrimp and so on were plentiful. Our waiter was delightful and gave us suggestions of where to head after dinner. However sometimes he seemed rushed. Again it was packed, but I’m sure it always is. It’s pricey, but for the view and quality of food it’s a good choice.

The tapas offered between 3 pm and 5 pm was awesome as well as the french onion soup; it was amazing! Probably the best I’ve ever tasted! Staff and ambiance was very cool. Definitely will be back for dinner the next time we’re in P-town! Make sure you stop here and enjoy your food.

My girlfriend & I were able to sneak in a last minute reservation yesterday evening. What a fantastic experience: from the food, the ambience, to the host, servers, etc. The food was fantastic & the bone-in rib was prepared to perfection. The BEST I’ve ever eaten. Looking forward to me next trip down!

We enjoyed superb Wellfleet oysters, the most amazing Lobster bisque, sweet, crunchy coconut shrimp, and Ahi tuna sliders… all to die for. Served up by our gracious and prompt waiter, Dimitar. The kitchen staff made this happen, of course. Very pleasant vibe with nice deck overlooking P-town harbor.

Today I visited Ross’ Grill for the first time and enjoyed it very much. A few notes of high praise: close attentiveness of the front of house staff, the kitchen staff’s cooking, the impressive wine list(I’m a Certified Sommelier, trust me), and the views. The clams are to die for. GO!

Probably one of the best in Ptown! Great service, great food, nicely presented, in a friendly environment. The chicken with apricot sauce was terrific and moist. Hey know what they are doing!

Starting with the good: the food was very tasty. I got the steak and my girlfriend got the chicken and they were both portioned well and delicious. Now that we got all of the good out of the way, why did I rate the restaurant 2 stars? Well, because my girlfriend and I went to the restaurant on Valentine’s day and it was 51 degrees in the restaurant. 51!!! That’s freezing! We(as well as everyone else in the restaurant) were all sitting around in multiple coats and hats and shivering. They had multiple space heaters placed around the restaurant but they barely seemed to be doing anything. The staff didn’t offer any acknowledgement or apology for the temperature. In fact, despite there being plenty of staff on hand, the service itself was quite poor overall. My water was only refilled once the whole evening and my girlfriend only get 1 refill of her ‘bottomless’ coffee(which she order mostly for warmth and it wasn’t even hot!) While the food was good, I am/was pretty upset I spent my valentine’s day at this restaurant. I’m sure we would have had a very different experience in warmer weather, I will not be returning and cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Sit at the bar, ALWAYS. The bartender is amazing, he knows his cocktails. My favorite dish is the Duck a la Orange, so tender and delicious. The view also makes it all worthwhile.

One of the better and more solid restos in P-Town. What really makes this place stand out are the views… get a table that overlooks the harbor or grab a drink and sit in the porch-like area, which also overlooks the water. Can’t go wrong with any of the seafood and the wine list is pretty great, too. Looking forward to my next visit!

I’ll keep this short. I love this restaurant. I’ve been going here for years and the recent ownership switch(to Cesar, I believe) has just made it better. Ross’s grille has hosted dinner parties, family get togethers, out of town guests, and intimate lunches and dinners for my husband and I. I can’t get enough. Great staff, great management, spectacular ambiance, wonderful wines, and great food. A+

it was a lovely crisp fall day and my man was craving a Bloody Mary. we called Ross’s to see if we could bring our well mannered doggie over. sure enough, they welcomed her. we came in the back way and sat outside. the view was amazing. and they have the best bartender in P Town… a perfect doggie cocktail sesh.

We had a 9pm reservation but weren’t seated until 9:30 and weren’t served until 10pm… a little late for dinner in my opinion. Food was okay — I had the seared tuna. The serving size was really generous, but then again, prices reflect that. I imagine this would be a great place to come to before the sun sets, as they have a very nice patio overlooking the bay. Inside, the restaurant was very very loud. The hostess was friendly, but our server had somewhat of an attitude.

ROSS’ GRILL was over booked the Monday evening we were there. The hostess, Kathryn was over her head and not capable of handling the situation. She was aggressive, rude, confrontational and unprofessional. The restaurant’s ambiance is pleasant, the view from the terrace is lovely and our waitress, Jessica was friendly although rushed. The Wellfleet oysters on the half shell delicious. The rest of the meal was tasty with the exception of the halibut which was over cooked. We weren’t able to finish our desserts because our table was booked. What could have been an enjoyable evening became very unpleasant and no one in our party will ever return.

Four of us. We are a hard to please group. My experience here was excellent from start to finish. Service was very good; but more important each dish ordered was delicious, well presented and the portions were satisfying. Reminder to self: hand cut fries. The only not so great part was the noise level. Many table in too little space.

We chose Ross’ Grill based on the comments on line. We weren’t disappointed! We started with some Wellfleet Oysters, then each had the House Salad, my wife having blackened shrimp with hers and I had blackened scallops with mine. We both thought the food was delicious and the view was spectacular.

I feel like this is a hidden gem in Ptown. Upstairs in the back of Whaler’s Wharf, the restaurant and deck overlook the water and provide a nice view. It is not air conditioned, but well ventilated with fans and large windows. Now the food. We always get the fish and chips. Lightly breaded and flaky. Great portion. I also love their fries, and I’m picky with fries. As for drinks, they have an extensive wine list and make delicious drinks. After our meal, we finished our drinks on the deck. Relaxing and quiet escape from the bustling streets below.

Ross’ is worth trying and we enjoyed the food. No doubt they have a great view of the bay, beach and water. The menu is standard Provincetown offering, but they did have multiple«specials». The wine menu is large, the beer offerings were average. The hostess could smile more upon greeting, and our server was average. The food, good overall… we loved the clam chowder(though needed to be a little warmer upon serving), loved the soft-shell crab salad, and enjoyed our entrees of seafood risotto & halibut. Best thing about Ross’ is the atmosphere & view. The food was good, just not memorable or unique enough to make us want to return.

Ross’s should be called Loss’s What a loss of a night for dinner What a loss of $ 200 for 3 people Food was horrible, dry fish, over cooked tuna and who the hell serves jasmine rice in a perfect mound? Are we in a hospital??? I almost called 911 to rescue us from this mess.

After arriving in P Town later than expected my husband and I were thrilled to see Ross’s Grill was open. It’s tucked away on the second floor of a tiny shopping center. It faces the water and has outdoor seating if weather permits. Pros: everything on menu sounds good, décor very cool, small and cozy, service top notch, great bar area, desserts looked really good. Cons: a bit dark inside, hidden from view so you don’t know where they’re located. We had fish and chips and a salad special. Fish was light and perfectly cooked. Portion was just enough for one and served with really good fries. Salad was arugula with Serrano ham, manchego cheese and dates and had a very light dressing. We were served a small bit of French bread with dipping oil with it. Had two cape cod draughts. End note: go here.

Très bon rapport qualité — prix. Service sympa. Belle vue sur la marina. Attention, on né voit pas le resto de la rue principale.
