I’ve been going to Beth for a haircut here for 2+ years. Always a great cut and friendly conversation. Beth and all the folks there care about their customers and deliver great service. Last year I even decided to try a different style cut (after 30 years of the same thing) and Beth had a great idea. I love the new style and others — including my wife — like it as well. I highly recommend Shave and a Haircut for all ages!

I stopped in here on a Saturday as a walk in for a simple hair cut. it is more of a salon than a barber shop. It is clean and rather large inside with your usual beauty salon décor and furnishings. My haircut was fine although not worth the $ 18 I was charged. No real attention to detail or extras like trimming ear hair, eyebrows, hot towel, razor cut, etc. I get all of those from the Korean barber shop in Chantilly for $ 16! Now since it is in Purcellville it is probably only fair to compare with local places. I’ve only been to Micki’s and Hair Cuttery and Micki’s is where I will continue to go until I am able to try Darrell’s. There are better options even in Purcellville.

Uninspired and below average adult haircut for $ 35 (no blow drying or styling). Not pleased, uneven haircut for me and my child. Not returning to this Podunk salon.

Been there twice and had a great experience both times. I took my 16 month old son there for his first haircut and it went swimmingly.

I took my 2-​yr-​old here for a haircut and they were SO friendly! I was a little worried that he wouldn’t sit still, but Elizabeth was VERY patient. They also have a little playroom so I could get my eyebrows waxed, while my son played. Great for busy moms!
