Safeway

I like this store — it snothing special but it is very clean and the checkers are efficient.
TIP: The pasta slaad they make here is, amazingly, as good as you can find anywhere. The bakery is a bit defcient, mostly mega sugar crap.
Bt over all its a nice solid store and never seems overly crowded. I prefer it to Freddies down the street,

Well, after dozens of more times shopping here since my last review, it’s time I 1-​up this place to 5 stars! I’ve noticed that the cleanliness has picked up and I’ve seen less sketchiness around this place at night. The biggest thing for me today though, was when the cashier took a penny out of HER OWN WALLET so I didn’t have to break a dollar! I wish I had caught her name, but that is truley amazing customer service. I applaud this Safeway and give then 5 stars!!!

It’s your typical Safeway — it was remodeled but they did it on the cheap. Aisles are still narrow. Staff not very friendly. Parking is easy. Stop here when I need something and I’m near the fairgrounds…

Meh. There are times when this place is a nice in and out experience. There are other times when you just need a single item or two and you end up in line for 10+ minutes, what gives!!! Can we at least get two self checkout stations. Please? Regardless, like most people mention, the location makes it an easy choice for a quick grab when you need it most, but more often than not, we find ourselves hitting up the fred meyer on river road or even heading up the hill to top food or tacoma boys.

For me and my family, this is the most convenient grocery store close to us. Though its a smaller store, that’s where we always try and go. There are certain products we can’t get or have limited selections on. However, I can always count on a clean store with helpful employees.

I downloaded some digital coupons day before but the staffs did not know how to apply it to my purchase. More employee education needed here!

Fast, friendly service. Never had a problem.

This shopping location is extremely convenient for me as it is close to home and my son’s daycare. I usually shop here only because of its convenient location and parking usually isn’t too chaotic — meaning I can get a parking spot next to a cart return and when you have an almost 3 year old — that is very handy.
This is a very small store so I don’t come here for specialty items but for basic pantry/​freezer things. Although the bakery department is small — at least two of the employees there are SO friendly. We have ordered cakes from them before and they have turned out beautifully. One of the cakes was for a cake decorator friend and she was impressed too! They always give my son a free cookie, which makes his day.
There are a few employees that consistently seem like they got out on the wrong side of the bed but then there are a few employees who are consistently friendly. I just avoid the not so nice employees and don’t mind standing in line a few moments longer for a nicer cashier.
They’ve helped me a few times finding items or resolving poor customer service issues and Ruth is GREAT. She is always friendly, has a smile, and has worked with me a couple of times when something wasn’t right.
I’m not woo woo on their produce but I am able to get a few pinch items.
Overall — I will be going back again and again and again — why? Convenient location, 90% chance that I’ll get to park next to a cart return, and Ruth.

It’s OK. Convenient location — on the way home from the «park-​and-​ride» near the Fairgrounds.
Small size gives it some pretty big limitations compared to the bigger stores, such as a meat department that is all but hidden and a very limited bakery.
Parking lot gets pretty crazy compared to the Safeway on Main.
I would go to this produce department anytime over the one on Main.
I like the cashiers better at this location too over the Main store.

Not big on this place. Only reason I go is because its so freakin close. The check out lines are always packed, not very well layed out. If there is a lot people there the lines go down freezer aisle. The organic selection is poor. And I always feel the workers there are in a bad mood. Not my favorite grocery store at all. This place is just convenient when I’m in a rush and need something on the run.

Clean location with a friendly staff.
Manager stock a particular brand of non dairy milk just for me.
That is customer service!
