Raw Juice Cafe

Girl at the counter was very nice and friendly. Food and juice were awful. The green juice tasted watered down. and maybe it just me but when I order a panini I expect the cheese to be melted.

When I first saw this place, I was so excited… but then I went there. My fiancé ordered a vegan wrap that wound up not being very tasty. The guy that took our order was extremely slow and didn’t seem like he even knew what he was supposed to make. The menu also said that it came with a side of salad that he did not give us until I asked for it. I had ordered one of the juices and was very disappointed by the taste as well. It is sad that such a good concept in this neighborhood has failed.

Ordered food for delivery. The juice and smoothie were good, but warm, after arrive over an hour after my order was placed. The food was pretty good (not extraordinary or anything), but was completely tossed around. It looked like someone had shaken up the containers. Might be a more pleasant experience to dine-​in.

I ordered a tuna sandwich and two smoothies through seamless. The food came fast but that’s probably because they paid absolutely no attention to my order and the special instructions I left. I got the Zen Berry Balance Smoothie and asked that they cut out the blueberries. When I got my smoothie it was a dark pink color, so I knew they messed up. I took a sip and it not only contained blueberries but raspberries as well! They gave me the wrong thing (Berry Blitz Sth Sth). :/​So my boyfriend called and let them know and they said they’d redeliver. After a 30 min wait I got a cup that was ²⁄₃ full (yes they didn’t even give me a full cup) of some peculiar mixture that tasted like banana mixed with vegetable oil. Needless to say, it went down the drain. Thanks for ruining my morning Raw Juice and taking all my hope away that Ridgewood could have a real, quality smoothie/​juice bar.

This place is exactly what its name says it is – JUICE, in its most RAW form, made fresh daily, on the spot, on-​demand.
Can’t go wrong with any of the juice selections, but if I had to choose a favorite, I’d go with the the Supreme Green.
Did I mention they have coffee and food as well? If you’re hungry, try the vegan wrap (sautéed spinach, mushrooms, garlic, onions, hummus, lettuce, tomato, & avocado). For the carnivores (like me), you can add chicken to it, which no longer makes it a vegan, but hey, still delicious.
If he’s working, make sure to say hi to the owner, Chris. He’s a cool guy. Tell him Jon, his Asian friend, sent you. lol

Their juice was delicious and reasonably priced. My favorite is the «pick any 4» juice. Beet, Kale, Pineapple and Pear.

The smell from the freshly made coffee was enough to entice me to try out their Latte. Should of bought the 16 oz instead of the 12 oz because it was superb. Very rich in taste and yummy plain or with little brown sugar.
Staff was very pleasant and kind. Will come back again
FYI: please don’t let the idea of this amazing café next to the car wash fool you… your taste buds will thank you.

The workers greeted me nicely and everything I ordered was great. I liked that I was given the option of leaving out the ice in my juice. The juice was a perfect balance between the kale and apple/​grape juices. The vegan wrap was yummy too with an awesome combination of mushrooms, spinach, tomatoes, lettuce, hummus, and avocado. I find it odd that most of the ingredients were cooked in a place with «raw» in its name. The atmosphere is unusual with a car wash connected to it but the seating is still comfortable with chairs, stools, and a couch area with books and magazines. The decorations are great and you have no problem sitting there for a while. This place is unlike anything in Glendale and it is a great and needed addition to the neighborhood. I would recommend adding even more vegan options to the menu as well as some raw ones too. Adding vegan desserts or acaí bowls would be great too. The cons: their menu does not seem to be updated since it says the wrap comes with chips but I did not get any. The plating is also not good since it has holes that food can fall through. Everything takes somewhat long to prepare as well. I also would prefer they have recycling and compost bins since Glendale residents participate in both already.

This place is a super addition to the neighborhood.
I ordered the grilled caprese sandwich and a zen berry balance both were delicious and fresh.
But the smoothie was a little warm and I could have sworn I said grilled chicken caprese sandwich but I did not receive chicken, which was fine I guess because I wasn’t charged for it.
Overall great place, their receipt says more items coming soon so I can’t wait to see what else they add since the menu is a little small.
Oh and just a heads up, the prices according to the picture uploaded here have changed!

Best spot I’ve found in the neighborhood. Fresh juice, good customer service. Big ups to the fellas In there. Found a new spot!

I’ve been wanting to stop by and try them out. Ordered a cappuccino, and received a latte. That’s bad. Server had them make me another one, the second one had a little too much milk, but could pass as a cappuccino. Ok so I put a little sugar in it and left. When I get in my car, the thing is scolding hot like they boiled the milk instead of steaming it. I couldn’t even drink it. A wasted $ 4. They need to train their barista better. Maybe I’ll give them another shot in the near future. Please get that fixed. Or maybe you guys just want to concentrate on your juices and sandwiches. If you want more coffee business, it’s gotta be done right. Two stars because the place was clean and easy on the eyes, but if not I would have rated one star. Please fix that coffee.

Had a eye on this place for 4 month and finally went in to try it out. Atmosphere is chill, great service, very friendly.
I ordered their grilled chicken sandwich on whole grain bread VERY good! I also tried their coffee and that was a plus as well.
Next visit I will try the smoothies and juices.

New great little spot. Coffee, juices, sandwiches, salads AND wifi. Worked from my laptop there all day. Very chill vibe. Will be going back.

Thanks to my trainer, I now know of an excellent post & pre workout meal spot. For my first time visit, I chose the avocado salad & added chicken. Absolutely fresh & delicious without the heavy dressing. Everything tastes like it should be; raw, simple & homemade. The juice/​smoothie menu is also delectable without the added sugary syrups you would get from your typical smoothie chain. To make the whole experience better, the cook & staff are super approachable which just adds to my honest review. Definetly going to be a regular here :)

Found this place randomly and I was a huge fan.
Great food, décor, welcoming staff, and the juices speak for themselves.
I’ll definitely be back soon!

Love this place! Their grilled chicken sandwich is amazing, the salad is as fresh as it can get and their juices are well thought out and super healthy. They don’t use any additives. The juice you order is made from fresh fruits and vegetables.
My favorite is the almighty cleanse :-)

Very friendly staff. Was randomly in the neighborhood and stooped in for lunch. Drip coffee was nice and strong and the grilled chicken sandwich was made with love. Definitely will be back for some smoothies! Nice chill atmosphere an great ambiance!

I LOVE Raw Juice café! I love that they can juice you pretty much anything on the spot. apple with ginger one day, apple with lemon the next. This place is leaps and bounds above any other juice bar. Absolutely delicious!

This place is greattttt. I came by to grab a fresh juice and some lunch. The chicken caprese with pesto on a Croissant is amazing. I had a d.i.y fresh juice. You can choose any ingredients you want. The employees are so nice. Fresh fruits this is def a spot to come to. They are so good I had a coffee and breakfast. Then came back for a fresh juice and some lunch. Everything is fresh and healthy. This is a must come to spot and same time grabbed a carwash.

I stumbled upon this place while getting lost in Ridgewood for so long I was starving! Apparently they just opened a couple of weeks ago, and will be starting deliveries soon :-)
The staff are really nice and friendly, and were really patient answering my questions about the items on the menu.
They sell fresh pressed juices, smoothies, coffee, salads, and sandwiches. Everything is super healthy and really yummy.
I had a coffee and the grilled chicken sandwich. The sandwich was so good, the chicken was juicy and well seasoned.
This place is such a nice change from the usual fast food, high calorie meals.
I will definitely be back to try the juices and smoothies
