stopped and had lunch here the other day and ordered the shrimp tacos. Service was good and I enjoyed the tacos. I will go back again and try other items on the menu

It was my first time at Fish’s Wild Fish Grill & More today. Their fish is fresh and the dishes over all are pretty healthy but it’s lucking little flavor — it’s little too simple and not so interesting. I ordered shrimp burrito but it was mostly rice and not so much flavor and seasoning. I wish it has little more shrimp and more interesting vegetables or sauce but just shredded cabbage and little tropical salsa. My friends ordered tacos and fish dishes but their opinion was the same as mine on their dishes.

You have to order carbs on the side! What is this health craze where carbs are a side order?! I feel like I’m on another plant where people are forcing me to eat healthy, European portioned plate sizes! Damn it, I left Europe to come here and eat my body weight in food! Ok, ok… so the food here is really GOOD… I just wish there was more of it! …and some rice or bread!

I’m a fan of this place. Delicious grilled fish with choices of sauce and two sides. I’ve tried the salmon, mahi mahi and swai with the garlic butter sauce. Although there are other sauces to try– you can’t go wrong with garlic and butter! Besides the fish, you can get two sides– I always get the grilled zucchini and brown rice to try to be healthy lol. The portions are great and the food comes out pretty fast. Great place to eat within downtown Redwood City. I have yet to try their tacos, short ribs and other selections, I’m sure they will not disappoint!

I’m gonna give it 5 stars for the portion sizes, and 4 stars because it was a bit greasy but *very* tasty, and I had no complaints about the place or my order. This place hit the spot: I got a nice meal, and the price was reasonable. I wasn’t sure where to park because good luck finding street parking, but there’s a huge garage(it says free, and it’s free for at least 90 minutes) and it just so happened that I exited the garage right next to the place! No problems in or out.

Grilled Salmon with steamed veg was very nice. Everything was fresh. The lemon spicy dressing was also good. Fish was properly grilled and juicy. I liked it, and will definitely recommend.

Very good food! Everything is fresh, flavorful and delicious. I have been there only a few times and have only ordered the Lemon pepper salmon, with steamed veggies and brown rice. It is delicious and healthy! I have yet to try their other options but definitely will. Service is very good too and the food comes out very fast.

Came here for the first time today. Place was cool mix if Hawaiian, island fisherman grill vibe. Cashier/server was cool, relaxed and prompt. Even if it was busy with 3 customers waiting to order, he kept cool served clean and greeted with taking orders. Talk about multitasking, he can do it! I ordered the Grill Fish wrap, neatly grilled fish, three different types. Salmon, Mahi Mahi And a third some sort of white fish. Tasted fresh, smokey from the grill and well seasoned. The fish wrap was served with white rice, Mango salsa cabbage, wrapped in a white tortilla. I did the goofy thing where usually i cut and half my wrap/burritos. This serving was huge, wide and fat! Well I made a mess as the juices and slaw(mango cabbage) was all over the place. I pretty much made it hard to eat. But the taste was amazing! I also had a side of stems veggies. Very nicely made to order. Well worth the side. I wasn’t in the mood for fried goodies but they did have it and since I was doing a medical Stand by around the corner no booze for me…(so tempting) Place was cool, relaxed just a heads up the TV station was on PBS kinda different vibe… But in all it was a good place to eat away from the other options around the strip.

I was reluctant to try this place but I was pleasantly surprised. The fish tacos were really good. I still am wondering about the sustainability and quality of the fish they use, but overall, I would eat here again for something quick and and healthy.

I let my wife decide where we shall eat before our movie date and honestly I was a little hesitant since the place looks like a fast food seafood joint, which in my mind is code for an unfortunate stomach bug. I ordered the bowl with sauteed shrimp, rice, and steamed vegetables to be on the safe side. All I can say is wow! The shrimp was deliciously seasoned, not too salty and the veggies were steamed with a bit of a crunch. My wife ordered the shrimp and mahi mahi fish tacos and commented on how tasty and fresh both the shrimp and fish was. Also the mango salsa was on point. Needless to say, we’ll be back.

The American Heart Association says you should eat fish twice a week… so Fish’s Wild is a good place to grab your Omega-3s! Good, basic, healthy meals but don’t expect anything fancy. I definitely see myself coming here a few times to eat some fish and veggies. I had the grilled cajun salmon with steamed veggies and grilled zucchini. The seasoned salmon was two thin fillets and was grilled very well. It was slightly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I threw some hot sauce on it to give it some kick. The steamed veggies were a little bland but good if you shake some pepper on it. The grilled zucchini was amaaazing. Super juicy with a little crunch. 3 stars because the food is good but I find that I had to dress it up to give the food flavor boosts.

Whenever I’m in the mood for something healthy and I’m in downtown, I think of this place! I’ve only been there once but it was so good. I got the lemon pepper grilled salmon with grilled zucchini & brown rice. It really hit the spot. It all tastes so fresh, and their portions are huge! There aren’t many seafood places in RWC so it’s a really nice addition. I hope they stay in business unlike most places that have opened near the movies, because I plan to go back regularly.

This review is for my order from . Since Fish’s Wild was a new restaurant for us, and their prices reasonable, I placed an order for the Mahi-Mahi Taco($ 3.25) & Salmon Taco($ 3.25) [ . The mahi mahi was definitely the favorite since the fish was cooked well and it went well with the slaw mix. However, the salmon was really overcooked and super dry. My coworker also got the Shrimp Taco, which I tried and that was pretty good– you got a few large pieces of shrimp. Overall, although the salmon taco wasn’t that great, I liked the other two I had and would probably order from here again.

I’ve been coming here for nearly two years now. It’s definitely a hidden gem of Redwood City, and one of the top restaurants. I say this while there are very competitive restaurant choices nearby. The food is always delicious! Whether it’s 10 – 15 minutes before closing or a busy day, the owner is always attentive and efficient. Their grilled short ribs is my recent«usual.» It’s quite amazing, along with their grilled shrimp stamp, you can taste the freshness of their food. Their service isn’t always quick, but it’s due to limited staff. They do a great job of it even without being full my staff. Always polite, respectful and very clean. I will vouch for this place every time. They’ve definitely found a loyal customer, in not myself, but my brother and mother as well.

Wow what a surprise. Redwood city has been remodeling itself with cute streets and walkable places. Wild fish is a small chain that has tacos and things with ultra fresh ingredients and an Asian influence. The talapia fish taco was delicious. Had nicely seasoned talapia. And for those U who are dairy allergic, they don’t use butter so it was great. The vegetables were fresh. The pineapple was great. And the tacos were fresh. The ambiance is great. And sitting outside is really nice. The combo plate is a great deal with a bottomless drink and great fries. It isn’t traditional Mexican but a nice fusion take on it.

This place is great! Way better than I thought it was going to be. I’m not sure what they’re going for but its a cross between mexican, japanese, and seafood? We had Chicken Katsu and a shrimp wrap. Both of which were bomb. Amazing! I want more right now! I had double steamed veggies with my chicken Katsu, I could have gotten rice(brown or white) or grilled zucchini also but I just wanted veggies! There was no flavor on the veggies(which is what I like!) So it was pretty healthy! They have a pretty good selection of beers, modelo(dark and light), Pacifico, coors, and some more. The staff, so nice! The little Asian lady that was working was SO sweet. Made our experience that much better! Can’t wait to go back and try more.

First, get in the right mindset — this is a lunch spot that provides an excellent healthy and fast option. It’s not a sit and dine here for the ambiance kind of place. It won’t blow your mind in terms of their offerings — it’s simple. That being said, this is such an AWESOME spot to grab a quick, healthy and reasonably priced meal. I ordered the grilled salmon. It comes with two sides that you can choose and I got grilled zucchini and steamed veggies. Total(after tax) came out to $ 13. While that may seem pricey, the quantity of food you get is HUGE. The salmon is two full pieces and there are TONS of veggies. I had plenty of leftovers that will make an awesome dinner or snack later on. Highly recommend you check it out if you are looking for some healthy and quick eats in Redwood city!

This is so delicious, moderately priced, and healthy! A low-fat, carb-free meal full of flavor? Yes please! Very clean, beer, wine & soda. The only downside? A blaring tv. I am definitely coming back!

One of my go-to lunch spots in RWC because of the huge portions and affordable prices! Their grilled fish plates are awesome. For around $ 10, you get your choice of fish + seasoning/sauce(Cajun, garlic butter, lemon pepper, etc.) + 2 sides. Get the grilled zucchini for sure. Side salad is nothing special, but their miso dressing is pretty good. Their other sides include steamed veggies, brown rice, etc. I’ve also tried the grilled shrimp wrap with cabbage instead of rice. I wish they replaced it with greens, but it’s still tasty and they load it with lots of shrimp. I try to remember asking for the sauce on the side though because it gets kinda messy towards the end. Overall, a solid place to get lunch and one of the healthiest in this area!
