Food Stop is a poor imitation of 7 – 11, there’s krispy kreme donuts, pastries, farmers brothers coffee, grilled sausages/dogs, soft drink dispensers, cappicino, sodas, beers, wines, chips, snacks, etc. difference is not everything has a price on it. so cavaett emptor. brew: rolling rock(24 oz. 1.49) –cool, semi smooth brew –no microbrew 22 ouncers, just 6 paks. on draught: –courteous, friendly service –few bargains here, lots of parking.

I have been going to this store weekly on Fridays on my way home to take care of my weekly lotto habit! The owner and the workers are all very friendly and treat you like family. These past two months having my mom living with us, well I have visited this store at least 5 times a week with my mom for her to purchase and redeem her lottery tickets… she is addicted, no doubt– but she actually does win quite a bit… we have actually gone out of our way to go to THIS store to redeem/purchase her lottery tickets because of the people who work/own this shop. The other day on my mom’s birthday we did our daily stop to get her tickets and I told the woman behind the counter«make sure they are lucky ones for her birthday» and when she found out it was my mom’s birthday she leaned over the counter and gave her a hug… just very sweet.

Yikes, this place is sorta sketch. Since we had hit up the Ben Franks hut for some hot dogs we figured we’d try and find some weird sodas to accompany our low brow meal. Didn’t find anything cool of note and wasn’t sure how this is any different from a 7-Eleven except for the scarier clientele. I guess they 24 hour operations might be a draw for some who lived nearby and needed to reload on cigs and 40’s.
