Papa John’s Pizza

4 Stars because the pizza is good, 0 stars for service because Nicole the woman at the counter was super rude and unpleasant. I was on hold for 4 minutes and I assume she forgot about me because I placed an order right away when I called back. When I went to pick up she was unpleasant. Definitely won’t be back to this location, much prefer the one in Palo Alto.

You have to be fully intoxicated to fully enjoy this meal. Pizza, dessert, appetizers, etc. Look for coupons.

Thought we would try a new place for a change. Unfortunately it will be the one and only time. Delivery was good, driver was nice and the brownie pie for desert was very good. BUT, we found the pizza (bell pepper and onion) to have too much sauce and the sauce was very sweet. Very little in the line of pepper and onion. I could make my own much better with Boboli. Sorry Papa John, but we will not be re-​ordering.

This is my go to papa johns located near my house. Very friendly staff I usually do carry out. They have never once messed up an order and its always ready super quick.

I love Papa John’s pizza but the night team especially the guy who wears these huge earrings is fast but kinda rude. He follows all company policies so I guess that’s why he won’t help you if you if you want a bag. Regardless Papa John’s pizza is my favorite place

First time ordering from the Papa Johns in Redwood City! Had a great experience when I went to pick up my order. The associate helped me by switching the order I had to the daily special so that I could save money! Great service!

Great pizza (great tomato sauce!) and delivery on time. I’m not expecting the delivery guy to tap-​dance when handing me the pizza. The job is done=5 stars.

The only Papa John’s I go to. There’s even one less than 8 blocks from where I live and I avoid it. My homegirl here always is super awesome and greets me by name when I walk in. I always order the personal Tuscan cheese on a weekly basis for my son and go pick it up. Always hot n ready. Usually takes them ten min to cook. They are just amazing and I will always be a customer at this location because of it.

I love Pizza and I love simple. Pretty good and service isn’t quality but everyone’s pretty friendly.

Had a groupon so I finally decided to use it. I ordered a plain cheese thin crust pizza for 12:30pm AND I splurged and got a chocolate chip cookie dessert.
I got to the store a bit early and nothing was ready so I waited a few minutes just enough to take a pix of Papa John who is hanging in the front area as you walk in.
They do take out or delivery only. There is a bench to use in front facing Papa John! The parking lot is small but I got a spot right away. The staff was very nice and polite. The area was clean.
My order came on time and i went home… I was starving for pizza. The smell of pizza and fresh baked cookie was wonderful. Got home and immediately after taking the pix of the cookie I dug into the pizza. Only one yum for this pizza
It looked great, nice amount of cheese and sauce and the crust was“crusty”. But I guess I like a little more spice in my sauce. I ended up putting the pepperocini and the red pepper on my slices, nice result.
The cookie smelled, tasted and looked great. A wonderful treat.
Overall, since it is a distance from my home, I’ll probably only go with a special deal or a coupon.

It wasn’t bad to begin with, but I will not even say it’s great. The problem with this Papa John’s is definitely the crust, it’s way too thick and someway somehow cover up the taste of the ingredients itself.

The pizza was great and delicious with a variety of selections. The only problem was no indoor dining which they would’ve collected more revenue. The cookie dish was yummy.

Very impressed with customer service at this location! Our pizza delivery order was late (took about an hour and 10 mins to get here). The email confirmation gave us a delivery estimate of 30−40mins. I called to inquire and the woman who answered was very apologetic. She said with the severe rainy weather, there was a delay in delivery– I understood. When the delivery man arrived, he apologized for the delay and gave us a complimentary box of Its Its! Yum! Very nice. Today, I received a postcard in the mail from papa johns apologizing for the delayed service and a coupon for a free pizza! Very impressed!

AGAIN… another bad pizza today at 5:31 pm… I’m done ordering from here.
I just ordered a pizza and I requested light sauce as usual and THERE IS MORE SAUCE than anything else.
Also I ordered extra sauces and it was a charge of 2.60 cents extra and I don’t receive them? And I can’t get a refund OKAY.
Im sure one less customer does not mean anything but this keeps being a repetitive .
I’m making sure my family and colleagues do not purchase their pizza from here EVER.
I am not pleased to how my money was spent today for this «meal».

Again this is a REPETITIVE THING and I always tip them well. I am not the type to write all negative but this is just annoying and my limit has been REACHED .

Fast and reliable, and is pretty decent pizza. In my opinion, it’s better than Domino’s and Pizza Hut. I usually order my pizza online and it would be ready for pickup within 20 minutes. I’ve gone back here 4 times already.

Willy is a good guy and the pizza is as expected. Solid and reliable food… fun to watch Willy make a pie. Garrulous guy and kind to the employees.
The «Its Its» mint chip is tempting and is helpful if I need to remind my wife I love her.
Quickly done.
On the down side the lot is tiny and inconvenient to get in and out of.

I ordered a large pizza with 5 toppings from Papa John’s Pizza tonight for a pick up.
Their pizza is OK and still cheaper than other speciality pizza restaurants. So if you want to have some quick and inexpensive pizza (with coupons), this might be a good place to go pick up.
Pros:
— I used a coupon (large special pizza or large with 5 toppings for $ 11. Normally their speciality pizzas are $ 19.99 and a large with 5 toppings are $ 22.74.) so it was a good price. Look for their coupons online before you place order on-​line. It’s not worth paying the full price.
— I went to the store to pick up my pizza in about 20 min, it was already ready.
— It’s easy to order on-​line.
Cons:
— Their pizza sizing is not right. Their «Large» is only 14″. That’s usually medium or small on other pizza restaurants. I thought they made a mistake first. Their medium is 12″. That’s small!!!
— Toppin is not enough. I had 5 kinds of toppings but my toppings were just lightly sprinkled. (Is it because I used the coupon?!?)
— The garlic butter dipping sauce is kind of gross. It has no butter in it but it’s made out of mixture of oils and preservative and artificial flavor. If you don’t tell them that you don’t want it, it will come with your pizza automatically.

Location: corner of Jefferson & El Camino.
Service: All my orders are delivered on time. The delivery person is always friendly– haven’t had any weird delivery folks :) Ordering online is easy and you can use your credit card to cover the tip online too if you don’t carry cash all the time like me.
Food: Food is always hot and pizza is always great. Love that the pizza crust is not oily like almost all other pizzas out there.
Return factor: Yes.

I absolutely love their pizza!
Love how the sauce is slightly sweet and the bread is so soft!
Delicious cold too!
Doesn’t stay picture perfect like Pizza Hut’s which mysteriously never seems to age like a Twinkie.
Not a fan of chain restaurants, but I look to them for good prices that’re cheaper than the flimsy PizzaMyHeart.
Whole Foods across the street has good pizza, but I prefer Papa John’s any day!

Why I like Papa John’s:
1. Order and pay using their iPhone app, complete with the ability to apply local promotions and pizza shows up at your door
2. Ranch and garlic butter dipping sauce for crust. An idea that is perfect in its simplicity.
3. It’s not trying to be «East Coast» pizza. West Coast pizza will never be East Coast pizza. Fullstop.
4. Peyton Manning does their commercials. Love that guy.
