Just finished a meal here and went to the ladies room before leaving. No soap dispenser or soap what so ever in the bathroom. Asked a server where it was located, she said it fell off the wall and wasn’t sure… what are they washing their hands with after the restroom??? Major health violation.

We are seasonal renters here and wanted a nice burger. We chose The Greene Turtle based on recommendations from locals. The burgers were good, but the bar waitress we had clearly did not want to be there. She monotoned all the right words: «sure, no problem; wonderful; you’re welcome», but there was not a lot of warmth in her voice. The restaurant was not busy. We usually sit a bar to experience the «local vibe». I hope the local vibe is not represented by this waitress. Until we read reviews that the service has improved, we will not return to this restaurant and will definitely not recommend it to others. Our special evening dining out was a disappointment.

No words can really describe my experience. The service was beyond terrible. We arrive at 4:25 for dinner — the restaurant was empty. It took at least 15 minutes for the waiter to take drink orders, another 15 for food orders and then an hour for the food to come out. Then it happened. My order arrived, a good five minutes after everyone else’s. I was expecting to try their baby back ribs. On the menu, they offer one thing — a full rack of ribs, but what did I receive? A half rack. I immediately bring this to the waiters attention and he realizes that a half rack was missing. Then I had to wait another ten minutes for the second half.
I think that there was some deceptive behavior going on. I find it hard to believe that the waiter, runner or the kitchen didn’t realize that half the meals was missing.
Do not eat here.

We wandered into the Greene Turtle on a recent Sunday looking for a place to watch football. Being that this is the off-​season, the place was practically empty. Eventually it filled up with other tourists and locals alike coming to watch the games. The food and the service were excellent. The entire staff was friendly and did everything they could to make sure we had an enjoyable time. Drink refills were served within the blink of an eye, and our food came from the kitchen hot and fresh. We had absolutely no complaints!

Came in after a long walk for a nice cold beer and a snack. The menu flaunts nearly fifty beers but every beer I asked for, the waitress told me they were stocked out… This went for maybe 6 beers before I selected one that was available. After ordering I still had to wait ten minutes to get a beer and water. Still waiting for it as I write this…

NO STARS! Absolutely the most rude and uncaring staff I have encountered in a while. It was 8:45 on a Saturday night and the restaurant was dead, I came in with a party of ten, 6 kids and 4 adults… I get it, not the ideal table. BUT IT’S BUSINESS! They looked at us and said really? Then made us wait 15 min until asking us «Do you still want to stay?»…what? YES… my kids are starving. Lol
But if you were there it was not a laughing matter, well, their service was. Pitiful, rude, and unprofessional.
They wouldn’t let us sit in at section that would have made us very comfortable, instead they tried to sit us near the bar. Yeah, we left. No one cared. They didn’t care. And now I don’t care about Green Turtle.
Walked over to Hooters and we are currently having a ball!

Service was zero stars. The waitress was kind but we waited forever between courses and also waited a very long time for drink refills. We were told this was because they were very busy but actually there were only a few tables in the place.
Food:
Appetizers
soft pretzels — flat out burnt
crab flatbread — way too much cheese– turned into greasy mess with crab after taste
Lunches:
kickin bourbon turkey burger– not traditional turkey burger but you can order any burger on the menu as a turkey burger. My nine year old son loved it and it was very tasty.
cobb salad– well put together salad with surprisingly fresh ingredients
blackened shrimp salad — the salad was very fresh and tasty. They gave a generous amount of shrimp and they were also very tasty.

Stop by tonight (Monday) and was only about half full. Got seated in 5 mins. Server came to take order in decent amount of time and then food order. After that barely saw waitress and food was all average to below. Worst thing was the fries. Either were reheated or kept under heat lamp for ever. I don’t understand restaurants that serve cold fries. Cheapest item to make.

I always seemed to avoid this place because its a chain — well I was wrong to avoid — THE BEST fish tacos I have had anywhere in a long time. The menu is fresh and has healthy options to choose from — amazing.

With kids in tow after 8pm on a Thursday night, this place actually let us in, had a Disney movie on along with sports in the bar area, and a waiter who was friendly, knowledgeable, and served us promptly. The only bad thing was the coleslaw– which was pathetic and the reason for the three stars. You can’t have a side that’s served with almost every meal taste so darn awful– it was basically just plain, shredded cabbage. Take the upcharge and order a different side. Otherwise a fine dinner of ribs, crab cakes, mac & cheese and apps.

This is a zero star review Unilocal just doesn’t know it. I’ve never had an experience like I had at this place in all the restaurants I’ve eaten at.
We walked in for a late lunch and were promptly sat and told the specials of the day. You had me at two dollar beers so I was I a good space when the waitress came back to take our order. «Steamed clams and a chicken sandwich please». «I’ll put that right in for you». And now we wait. We casually observe the TV that is built into our booth and people watch the other 10 poor souls trapped in this place not knowing what bullshit lie around the corner. «Would you like another beer?» «Sure that’d be great». «Your food should be right out». We then waited. And waited some more. And after 45 minutes, my stomach screaming for something other than hops, and my mind racing as to why this perfectly nice waitress would lie to me I got this as a response. «I’m really sorry (but you weren’t), but my manager sent the cook home and now she’s cooking (dafuq?). I can’t tell you when your food will be ready but honestly you’re probably better off going somewhere else» (but like what?). «Oh and your bill is 8 dollars».
I was floored. I’m actually getting angry thinking about it while write this review. I dropped a 10 dollar bill and left and will tell EVERYONE I know to never patronize this shit hole. Their are too many actual options in Reho where you can actually be served food you order instead of being told to leave.

Despite the negative reviews I have to say this place was pretty good, we had the Tuna Tacos and the crab dip, excellent food and fast service. I would go back in a heartbeat.

This place is a nightmare and it all comes down to the staff and I can only assume, management. We walked in at 8:30 on the Sunday night of Memorial Day weekend. It was obviously a very busy weekend for all establishments in the area. This place has a GREAT location but that’s where anything close to «great» ends. We were lured in by the drink specials but honestly, everyone has drink specials so it’s not all that special. We were greeted by a hostess who’s first words were «It’s going to be an hour!». We asked if we could sit at the bar, which she replied «good luck». We walked over and sat right at the bar. On the way to the bar it appeared that there had just been the equivalent of a 30 child birthday party at Chuck E Cheese. Every table was a mess. We went to the bar to order a drink and the bartender put down two cocktail napkins on a disgusting bar. I asked her to clean it off first and she seemed frazzled to have to locate a bar cloth. We then had to ask for a menu about 15 minutes after we got our drinks (not a typical thing to offer I guess?). From there it continued to go further downhill. I wonder if the bartenders think that patrons can’t hear them as they banter back and forth? I know all too well that they were slammed the night before and made $ 100 tips in an hours time. How wonderful for them. Bartender #2 (Brandon) seemed to be on perpetual break as the mess around him and us grew he appeared to do nothing at all. We and the guy next to us had to ask 3 – 4 times for a refill and then again to have dirty dishes removed from our sight. Even better was when Brandon returned from an apparent break with a cut finger that we al heard about as he sucked on it to stop the bleeding. I never got bartender #1’s name but she was horrible too. Taking a bit for granted that people just come in because it’s a beach town and a great location. There are SO many other options, I hope the management listens up to this and other reviews and they fix their mess. fire everyone and start over. It can not get worse.

Don’t do it! So many awesome restaurants in area and this is not one of them. Food is not by any means top of the line. Three of my family members got I’ll after eating here. Sorry not worth the money. Best item is the Caprese

Stopped in for dinner last night! We were greeted with a friendly young lady at the door who took us to our seats quickly. Our waitress brought drinks fast! We ordered peach tea… which had real peaches! YUM … Took a bit for me to choose something since there weren’t many healthy options that weren’t seafood. That’s ok tho. I finally decided on pulled pork (minus the bread) and they let me substitute a side salad instead of fries or chips. The pulled pork was meh. The bf had fish & fries. He liked the fish… he ate it with ketchup sooo. Everyone was terrific. The staff was attentive and friendly. I’d recommend Green Turtle to friends, but only if they weren’t looking to eat healthy. The rating is only based on the food options! Service was awesome. People are friendly. I’d def go for drinks!

I have been to this Green table a few times. We have a trailer down near the beach so we like to eat there. The food is usually very good. However the service varies. The first time we went our server was fantastic however the last time we had a server who wasn’t very good. His name was Christan, he started out very nice. Through the visit he was coming to the table less and less. We forgot to order out app. and we thought we just would mention it when he came back to the table, he never came until the entees came out. We then still ordered our app. My burger (which was delicious) was supposed to come with fries he remembered and said he would bring some, they never came. He didn’t come back til we were almost done eating and I didn’t mention the fries because we didn’t really need them. Then I ordered a shot for myself and for my boyfriend. Christian seemed to acknowledge both shots however only mine came out, when he came back I told him I ordered the other shot and he went to get it. (I should mention that it was Not at all a busy night and there may have been five tables in the restaurant including us) We were there for two hours, which was unnecessary we don’t really camp out at places we like to eat and leave especially when on Vacation there are other things to do. What I would have like to ask him was «how do you expect to gain sales and make any money if you can’t turn a table? You can’t turn a table if you are never at it.» The food was great though I do enjoy it. I ordered my burger medium rare and it was perfect. I also love the hog hammers!

Rude (and lazy) manager, lousy food, slow service. It doesn’t get much worse.

All baseball teams please pay attention — this was the worst service I’ve ever seen for a large group. It took two hours to get food and manager was unapologetic.

OMG I don’t know where to begin. We asked for a table to seat 4 adults and a toddler. A total of 6 – 7 table available. They told us it will be 10 – 15 mins. We waited ½ hour watching a blond hostess and 3 guys flirting with each other and then they placed to two tables together. When we sat down we saw a big guy come out of the kitchen wearing plastic gloves so we assumed he was a cook. He went by our table 3 times to go out side during our time there. Our waiter Angel we saw him a total of 5 times: 1^st our drink order, 2^nd delivery of our food, he informed me that he dropped my meal so I have to wait and ends it with he is the best server there. 3^rd he deliveries my food without asking if we needed anything else. 4^th we asked another server to get angel so we can have drink refills. 5^th to drop our refill and bill. During the time we were there, Angel spent most of it outside with other coworkers along with the cook. That will be the last time I every go to this facility. The food was horrible. Also, the manager is useless I mentioned that I would like to speak to her as we were heading to our table, she said ok. Then I watched her leave for the night. What restaurant stays open and not have a manager or acting manager on duty?
