Good food: loved the raspberry turkey flatbread and fries today! Can’t beat the ocean view either. Very cold though. Came in to eat and warm up. Well, got half done. Great lunch spot.

RJ and I brought the peeps here for dinner Aug 22. The wait was about 30 minutes, but the view of the ocean was worth the wait. I ordered grilled shrimp salad, RJ had grilled chicken, and the kids had crab cakes. The food came out fast, but the drinks were very slow as usual. It seems whenever we are here, we sit with empty drinks for at least 30 minutes.

The food is always good however the wait is excruciating. Try to hit it on off hours or maybe in bad weather. One of the few places with an ocean view from the second floor. The service is friendly but the wait time is longer than normal. It is a place you should experience at least once.

I went here during there off season. It was on a Sunday night, so the place was on the empty side. We ordered one of there turtle bowls and the pretzel with crab dip that was pretty good. I am sure this place is happening during the peek season. There is a lot of seating and great views.

This review is based on my experience at their bar. A friend and I were staying in Rehoboth Beach for the weekend. Since it was post season not many places were open at 10ish. I have to tendency to agree with Lisa F.‘s review, it does smell like urine there. I mean are there drunk people just peeing everywhere and it’s in the carpet or are the bathrooms not working that well? It was off-putting. I ordered their ‘black cherry crush’ drink. And what I didn’t realize at the time… is that they were $ 10 each. So, be careful when ordering when there is no price next to the drink on the menu. The first drink was okay but honestly was surprised by the low alcohol content. So for the next drink I asked the bartender, if she could make it a little stronger next time. She told me that if I wanted it stronger I would have to pay for it. Well, that wasn’t entirely the truth because the next drink, was stronger and looking at my receipt she didn’t charge me more than the first one. She made it a point to ask me if it was better. Maybe she had to respond in that«you have to pay for it» manner because 2 of her co-workers were standing right there. But she is a good bartender, that’s what you do, you make the customer happy. Also there were a couple college football games on and there was some large woman yelling at the TV… pretty loudly. All-in-all I guess people go there for the view on their deck or maybe food because their drinks are way over priced.

Great view of the beach. They have all the games. Place smells like urine. Nobody here to eat at 9:30 pm but service verrry slow. Scary here. Drink beer from bottle. Awesome balcony. App on Unilocal/google have address/map wrong. I want this place to be great, it just Is not.

View is great! Food is just ok. It’s one of the only places to sit and have a nice view at the boardwalk so for that purpose it was good. The food is just very generic: burgers etc. but the view is good and if you can stand the long wait you may get to sit outside.

We have come here several times since they opened five summers ago. When they first opened here, we were happy that the bar was nice and had a great view. The food was never great but it’s what is expected for a chain restaurant. We always seated ourselves or were seated quickly. The bar tenders have become progressively less attentive and the area around the bar has become more cluttered. The seating this visit was bad… requiring a 10 minute wait with a phone text when the restaurant was mostly empty. The server was cranky and could not hear well because of the acoustics here. Food was as mediocre as ever but the cranky waiter got less cranky and was very competent and we were treated to a beer at the bar by an off duty employee that saw us waiting. So overall I’ll give it three stars. We will however, cross it off our list as a «must visit» and knock it down to a «if we must».

Went as a party of 6 with a newborn. Restaurant is a walk up to second story, but you can leave strollers downstairs under cover while you dine. We were seated quickly, beautiful views and food came out hot. Kids were not thrilled with their entrees. Ordered appetizers for the table, but not enough for everyone at the table. Food was ok but would not order again. Flatbread pizza was good though. Nursing friendly. Went to Royal Treat for old fashioned ice cream sundaes next door for dessert.

The Greene Turtle’s only saving grace is their view. The deck seating is the only one of its kind on the Rehoboth Boardwalk. The food here is decent but overpriced. The absolute worst service of any restaurant in the area– SLOWSLOWSLOW. The restaurant wasn’t even busy! We asked for refills and never got them, saw our waitress maybe once other than the first greeting and it took a good 15−20minutes after we’d been sitting, finished with our meals, for the check to come. By the way– we had to walk into the restaurant and ask the manager for the check! Awful. To top it off our terrible waitress was training someone. Poor new girl is learning the wrong stuff from the get-go. Fix your service!!!

I went here with my brother & sons for dinner and I liked it. I ordered the steamed shrimp, crab dip, and Maryland crab soup & it was all good. The kids liked the food… my brother liked the Chesapeake Bay burger … The view from the 2nd floor was as good as it gets… Overlooking the ocean. The price was reasonable & even though they were very busy… the service was real good. I had a great experience & certainly would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing, casual dinner on the boardwalk.

Beautiful View. Decent service. Food as excellent, not really what I was expecting. Was fresh, was exciting, was nice. Our server Norris was knowledgeable and helpful. Cocktails were weird, but alright.

Mediocre food at best… This chain from the Baltimore area has lost touch of what they set out to do. Maybe because they grew too quickly? Consistently, the food at every location I’ve tried is passable as edible to fill you at the sacrafice of flavor and quality. The Rehoboth(boardwalk) location is no exception. Still the same hum drum food… only with an impressive view of the crashing waves! Honestly, this place deserves 2 stars on view alone… if there was a 0 star rating that is. But there’s not and can’t exactly find it within myself to give a 3rd star. Maybe if our waiter wasn’t texting on his phone near the bar every other minute and more attentive to the table… then MAYBE. Well… I’ll say if you want a chain restaurant style burger… and a cold beer with a great view… you’ll like it. But there’s so many other places nearby to enjoy a good meal.

Does it take 15 minutes to make one drink and pour a beer when you’re restaurant is dead as hell? Come to this Greene Turtle and find out! THEGOOD. –restrooms –small deck seating –drinks were fine THEBAD… –service is beyond slow –being acknowledged by wait staff is like rolling the dice… luck needs to be in your side –not a single server even approached us asking if we needed anything Overall this is the worst Greene Turtle I’ve ever been to. The management here should be ashamed of their unsatisfactory service. If anyone goes here have expectations at ground level and they’ll be met!

So this is one of those rare reviews that I give a place 4 stars when the food deserves 3. The reason for this is because I had a great experience here even though the food was just decent. So let me at least talk about the food first. Don’t think you are going to come here and get amazing food. We ordered some Thai chili and ranch wings which was okay. Chicken tenders were tasteless and dry with too much breading so made it seem like I was only eating the breading. Mussels were not good. Pizza was alright as my son ate it all so guess it was edible. Overall, the food is not the reason I would go. Now, the view is amazing as the restaurant is on the 2nd floor which has a great view of the ocean and beach. Simply beautiful. The service was excellent as they were able to be flexible to accommodate 13 of us, 4 which are kids 3 and under! Our kids were being kids as they roamed around the aisles as the servers weaved and dodged them. They were really good about it as we apologized. Not one of them had a frowny face(not sure why I use the word frowny but hanging out with little kids for 3 days turns you). The host was nice and professional and the waitress was on point. I know this place got some low reviews but my experience was a good one. 4 stars for basically on experience, view, and service. Maybe come here to just munch on apps and drinks. The Good: — great for big groups and families — service was awesome, friendly staff — view of beach and ocean is amazing The Bad: — food is mediocre, nothing that makes me say wow. Nothing really horrible either. It’s bar food, so take it for what it is. — second floor only means you really can’t bring strollers up and you have to leave it downstairs without anyone watching it. Don’t want anyone stealing my kids stroller The Ugly: — nothing

Just came back from Rehoboth and was visiting from Philly for Memorial Day. It was 6:40 when we arrived and it wasn’t too busy in there at all. There was 4 of us and we asked to be seated outside, 2 on «table 10» and the other 2 on «table 11,» since each outdoor seating only permits pairs(we were fine with that). Only my sister and her seatmate were greeted and served first, while me and my seatmate were not. It took about 10 – 12 minutes for someone to finally take our drink order. Obviously, there was miscommunication with the waiting staff. Waitresses did not visit us frequently, forgot one of our drinks from the bar, did not refill our lemonade, and overall were unfriendly. The one serving my sister’s table even passed right by them without stopping, even after seeing that they were finished with their appetizer. At the end of the meal, my seatmate and I were abruptly given our check by our waitress. She did not even bother to ask us if we needed anything else before handing us the check. The other two in the group were trying to pay with a credit card but their waitress never came and was just visibly goofing off nearby. We were in a rush so they ended up just leaving cash on the table instead of waiting for her to take the card. In essence, we felt like we were forgotten about during our entire stay. The staff is unfriendly and unreliable. I’m usually a great tipper, seeing as I also work in food service. I did not tip tonight and that has never happened before. Neither of our waitresses deserved it. I understand that they were working on a holiday, but that should give them more reason to step up their game to rack up the tourists’ and out-of-towners’ tips. Just the icing on the cake: the chicken on my flatbread pizza was very dry.

Great view! Great location. Horrible customer service. Manager on duty 4÷21÷15 for lunch does not belong in customer service. If the owner knew I’m sure he’d be fired!

Off season in Rehoboth is great! No lines, plenty of attention. My wife and daughter joined me for a «lite» lunch in advance of one of my wife’s signature dishes made from scratch at home. Oh, SNAP! The periods were HUGE! I had fish tacos with seared and blackened mahi-mahi resting gently on traditional shredded cabbage… ok, it was basically cole slaw with out the mayonnaise, but great just the same… and two mico slices of avocado on each taco — the order came with three. Accompanying el tres pescasdo taco was a nice small salad of greens. I reluctantly agreed to go to the Green Turtle, but was pleasantly pleased with my lunch. BTW, you cannot beat the view from this two level restaurant — right on the boardwalk!

This is a wonderfully clean and new looking sports bar in the boardwalk area. The staff was very friendly and the food was good. They were offering a 15% discount if you had a receipt from any of the local businesses and another $ 5 coupon came up on Unilocal when I checked in there. Very nice sports bar!

This place has a special place in my heart only because I watched Derek Jeter’s last home game here. Anyway, there were loads of TVs playing all the different games. It was rainy out when we were here so we didn’t get to enjoy the views or outdoor seating, but that looked like it’d be nice in the better weather. The bartenders were friendly and attentive, which was especially appreciated with the large crowd there catching the games. Although the crowd was on the busy side, everyone seemed nice & there seemed to be a lot of locals there. We didn’t try the food, but the menu was the expected run of the mill pub grub.
