Probably one of the best markets in this area, mostly because they are always stocked and because they are clean! I’ve never had an issue here and am glad I switched from Shoppers and Mars. It’s never overcrowded. The items are laid out clearly and aren’t hard to find. I love that the MVP card allows you to add coupons to your card before you shop. You can also scan your card upon entrance to see what coupons are available for you. There are always sales and coupons available. They also offer recipes and have the friendliest staff. You can’t go wrong shopping here.

This is my neighborhood grocery store, so nothing to come out of your way for. I literally just come here for last minute odds and ends. I don’t buy meat here as I only buy my meats from Wegmans or Whole Foods. The store is clean and I’ve only had one bad customer service issue throughout the years of coming here. Food Lion does not have a Seafood Dept or a Pharmacy.

Nice clean store, lots of selection, good prices, friendly employees… They accept debit card also to print money orders which majority of other store such as Giant, CVS, Walmart… etc is cash only! I try to stop by anytime i am in the area and need to get money orders

Call me a defector if you will. Clean confines. Wider aisles. A not-too-crowded deli dishing Kretschmar gluten free/no MSG products. Though ultimately it’s Food Lion’s ability to be lighter on my wallet than the Giant Food down the way that drove my defection. Hardly as big nor as flashy as the aforementioned hypermarket that is Giant. Arguably less overall variety of products than Giant. Yet Food Lion has the items I prefer and a bit more all neatly arranged around a less hectic atmosphere than Giant. Lower prices. That alone made me a turncoat. And the peanut butter no bake cookies from their bakery ain’t too shabby either. Lo, my defection is complete.
