My husband and I recently joined this Anytime Fitness because of its proximity to our home. There is always plenty of parking, the office staff(Stephanie) is very helpful and kind. The gym just finished a remodel and expansion that has really improved the overall feel of the gym. My husband uses the machines and free weights and attends spin classes with Zandy. I typically go to the yoga and PiYo classes on weekday mornings. The instructor, Jamie, is wonderful. We are happy with the gym and what it has to offer.

I basically giving this gym 5 stars overall for the wonderful management. Mostly I’m comparison with the Longley Lane Anytime Fitness where I had by far the worst experience with a owner/manager in any gym much less an Anytime Fitness. I agree with the limited amount of equipment but am confident that since they are new they will build up in time.

This gym gets 2 stars for being pretty clean and having staff that is reasonably friendly. The staff does not push memberships — in fact, they have the attitude that if you don’t sign up that is perfectly fine with them. Pretty much the exact opposite of a hard sell. There is always plenty of parking, at least all the times I have come by. And it is in a pretty safe neighborhood, too. The problem I have with the gym is that there is very little equipment there. Not a single calf raise machine. The few machines they do have are free weight machines that you load plates onto — and they are built for larger people. If you are small, weaker, elderly or doing rehab, you might be hesitant to try to get the big plates off the machine the previous person left(which they do very often) and it would be hard for you to get more plates on. For instance, the leg press machine takes plates and has a certain weight even with no plates. If you are not very strong, you might not be able to handle the empty platform, even. This is why so many gyms use leg press machines with adjustable settings using a steel selector pin. I can’t even believe they don’t have a low-pulley row/chinup triangle attachment handle. After having been to gyms all over North America, Central America and Europe, this is the first gym missing this small but well-used piece. They are very inexpensive, too. Free weights are great, but there needs to be something for everyone. Since they don’t use the backroom for classes(they don’t seem to have any spin, yoga, or classes of any kind at the time of this writing), I would think they would use that space for the machines they are sorely lacking. The deltoid press machine in the back has hand grips so wide it hurts my rotator cuff muscles to try to fit into it. Basically built for large guys. If you are a smaller person and only want to stretch and do aerobics, this gym might work for you since it does have treadmills and other aerobic equipment. We are looking for another, more well-rounded gym.
