A pleasant surprise! Take out chinese you pretty much don’t put expectations anymore because almost every corner has a chinese take out. They serve the typical take out menu but what surprised me is the execution of the food. Fried rice wasn’t drowning in oil, sweet sour chicken remained crunchy despite sitting in sauce, terriyaki chicken wasn’t cooked until it’s dry and the beef broccoli has its broccoli still with a bit of a crunch and not soggy… Don’t forget to pick up the 92cent chili garlic by the register. I promise you this makes your meal kick it to the top. Its the toasted version that screams flavor. Eat the toasted stuff more than the oil and I guarantee you’ll be happy you ate here

This is a small mom and pop restaurant similar to Panda Express. I came here as a recommendation for a party platter. I ordered the garlic chicken wings party platter($ 25.99) and it was delicious! The fried chicken wings are cooked with garlic, onions, and chili. The chicken pieces are large; some are large because of the amount of batter on it. They also give you a generous amount! The only down fall I would have to say is that some of the onions were undercooked so when I ate those pieces it felt like I was biting into an onion. LOL. We ordered the platter day of and it was ready for pick-up in about half an hour. The cashier and employee we encountered were very nice and thanked us multiple times for placing an order – very friendly people. It didn’t seem too busy during lunch on a Sunday, but the place was clean. I will definitely come back to try their other dishes if I’m ever craving some Chinese Fast Food. Review 15⁄100 for 2016

Prices are identical to every other Chinese fast food option, and the selection is nearly identical, as well. However, unlike every other Chinese fast food place I’ve eaten at, Wong’s Wok does not allow you to select the stir fried vegetables in lieu of the fried rice or chow mein. If you select the veggies, that counts as one of your two(or three) items. So, if you opt for no chow mein/fried rice, you walk away with a significantly less amount of food. Flavor of the food was fine(not great, not bad), but it’s not a place I will go back to.

This place serves the BEST chinese food in the entire Valley. I don’t understand the bad reviews about food being flavorless, I’m like, whaaat? The food here is delicious. I’ve tried every single tray and I absolutely love everything.(Chinese food is my favorite) and believe me when I say that not even Panda has food as good as Wong’s Wok :) My husband and I have been coming here for years and we are truly happy with this place. Customer service is fine. They are quick with your orders. You are going to be more than happy with the portions. I absolutely love the chow mein, it has a very distinctive smokey flavor. You will recognize a good Chinese food restaurant by the smell of their food welcoming you and I simply love this place for it…

It’s hard to find a good small Chinese spot for food in the valley. I like coming here because I think it’s one the best around the area. The customer service is fast and friendly. Although u won’t get a smile of any of them. I usually get half and half. With teriyaki chicken and black and pepper chicken. Also tried the sweat and sour chicken. They give you a big portion for your money. This place is always full of customers.

Recently catered a lunch for 60+ and it was fantastic! I forgot their names but 2 gentlemen helped me with the ordering and I was beyond satisfied with the quality and quantity of the food. Their prices beat all the other places I called for catering, e.g. El Pollo Loco, Panda Express, Zankou, and some other mom and pop joints. So heres what I ordered: 2 Fried Rice 3 Chow mein 3 Orange Chickens 2 Broccoli Beefs 2 Chicken Teriyaki They were very prompt and upon arriving they had everything ready to go and helped me take everything to my car. Staff was friendly and courteous and the food smelled delicious. After unloading and setting up, the food was still piping hot and everything looked fresh and tasted great! The star of the luncheon was the Orange Chicken. Panda aint got nada on Wong’s O Chicken! Delightfully crispy on the outside and tender and succulent on the inside. Not too sweet but just really well balanced and very very tasty. I think almost everyone asked where I catered the lunch from and I was very happy to say Wong’s Wok. The sad thing is, I don’t live in the area so it’ll be some time before I enjoy their food again. Anyways folks, if you need to cater some inexpensive Chinese fast food, forgot the chains and big names and cater your food with Wong’s. You won’t be disappointed! BTW, I don’t know what they put in their Orange Chicken to make it so crispy but I took home some leftovers and nuked it a few days later and it was still crispy! I was like«what the…» Its so darn good, I really don’t care what they put it in it! :)

If i could give 0 stars I would. Im originally from LA and living in LA i never noticed how many Chinese food places there was until i moved to reseda. Okay yeah the food is cheap for the amount you get– compared to the only other Chinese good i know here Panda Express BUTWHYINTHEWORLD would you come here for just the price?! The food is absolutely disgusting, flavorless and questioning. The customer service is horrible as well, as soon as you enter they ask you what you want and they talk under their breath. If I really wanted to save money on cheap food id rather eat at a fast food chain like jack in the box

The chicken wings here is one of the best I’ve ever had from an Asian fast food joint. The sliced jalapeño chilies add a little kick to the perfectly cooked crispy wings.

Had the Wonton soup. Was made fresh with generous serving of vegetables, wonton, and shrimp. At $ 6.00 a great value and good on a chilly evening.

The best Steam table type Chinese fast food I have found in the area. Always fresh as it seems its always busy. Lots more to choose from than the typical Chinese steam table. 3 items with rice & chow mien & drink will run you just under 10 bucks.

I love the food here. People who keep saying that the food is tasteless obviously never had food without msg or soy sauce in it. It’s healthy and always warm unlike other Chinese fast food. The only problem I have with this place is that some of the employees don’t speak English. One of the older women working there can be rude at times but that’s expected in the food industry especially at peak hours. But over all good job with keeping it healthy and clean.

This is the only Chinese fast food place I eat at. There are a few in nearby neighborhoods but they aren’t that great. The portions are huge. Can’t finish in one seating. This is a negative at this restaurant because unfortunately when you microwave the left overs they taste disgusting. But if you eat it fresh it taste quite good. Their teriyaki chicken with teriyaki sauce is good. Not bad for about $ 6

Excellent value. I enjoyed every bite of my 3 combo meal of sweet&sour chicken, orange chicken and teriyaki chicken. I also ordered for my bros friends and everyone was satisfied . Some of there dishes looked like they had been sitting there a while. Be smart! Only order super simple dishes that look fresh& hot. If you do that you will be challenged to find a better deal in sfv for fast food chinese
