Recently I was here to perform for a public event at Maggianos and I was blown away. Not being here before, I loved the atmosphere and family style dining they provide and loved how friendly and professional the staff is. Michelle did an amazing job hosting the room and all the clientele had a great time and loved the food. My partner and I got a dinner provided so I chose the Mushroom Ravioli Al Forno and he got the Four Cheese Ravioli. He raved about how flavorful and savory his dish was and loved mine. The sauce was creamy, though not too heavy, and the raviolis were stuffed with delicious mushrooms. I cannot wait to go back and try more dishes, especially some of the desserts! This is definitely a place I would love to take my parents when they come into town because the food is not only wonderful, but their prices are reasonable as well. In addition, they have an extensive wine list which is nice for vino lovers out there. This seems like a wonderful place for a large family gathering as well.

The 2 for $ 39.95 deal was amazing! We split an appetizer(stuffed mushrooms were great!). Both entrees were incredible! The dessert was the most amazing chocolate cheesecake that I think I’ve ever enjoyed! And I almost forgot that you get a pasta to take home with you!!!

This gives«The Pasta House Co.» a run for their money. Great atmosphere, service is top notch and the food is great quality. We went with a group of at least 10 people and I was impressed by the way they accommodated us and served us and assumed that we wanted to split the check multiple ways.

Ok, I know Maggiano’s Little Italy is supposed to be set as a family dinner house pre 1939, but did they really have to sit us all the way in the back. I mean it was a Saturday afternoon and we virtually were the only people there. Smh Anyway, the waiter acted like he was scared of us and barely opened his mouth. We had to keep saying could you repeat that. Definitely not the kind of 1st impression you want to leave your customers. The guy who was cleaning off the tables asked us if we were ok and need anything which was nice. The Choose Two Classic Pastas were good and family sized portions. I probably would go back to Maggiano’s Little Italy but it would probably be to one in the Atlanta Metro area and not the Richmond Heights Location.

Great atmosphere with a great staff. Had dinner here last night and it was over the top. Tonight, I got«creative» ordering the appetizer with angel hair pasta. Perfect

I love this place! First off the atmosphere is very lovely, especially for a date. The servers I’ve had were very friendly and helpful. My friend got the moscato mojito which was great and I got the Long Island– which is pretty cheap for the amount of alcohol! Love the bread they give you and I always get the get one take one home of the pasta. This is such a good deal and it’s great the next day. I get the eggplant Parmesan. For dessert my friend and I split the crème brûlée which is AMAZING. And quite large so splitting was a good idea. Ended the meal with really tasty White Russians. Overall great meals both times I’ve been.

I was at Maggiano’s on New Year’s Day for a family lunch. There were 7 adults and 2 children. The 2 children got kids’ meals which came out before the other meals and that was just great. When the adult meals came out a bit later there was mass confusion. They delivered a chicken parmesan sandwich, a salmon salad, eggplant parmesan, spaghetti and meatballs, and 1 bowl of soup which they gave to the person who ordered soup & Salad and who should have received a cup of soup. That left 2.5 of us without a meal. My grandmother, the eggplant parmesan, sent hers back because it was cold. It then took the next fifteen minutes to deliver, 1 bowl of soup to me(that’s it), the salad to match my aunt’s bowl of soup that should have been a cup, my uncle’s pick 2 sandwich and salad, and the remade eggplant parmesan which came at the very end and was delivered by the manager. It was mind boggling that they couldn’t pull off something as simple as 9 people eating at the same time. Well really 7 people because the kids got their food early. How was the food when it came? Your basic chain restaurant Italian food. Nothing bad but nothing exceptional and, as usual, overly salted. I’ll go back again when someone else makes me as was the case on this day.

Terrible excuse for Italian food. The décor is nice and the staff is pleasant but the food… c’mon now. Aside from the name I can’t legitimately call this an Italian restaurant. The location however is prime real estate; directly across from Crate and Barrel, caddy-corner to P.F. Chang’s and within walking distance of the Saint Louis Galleria Mall. For the purposes of this review I will state that the mushroom ravioli is a decent dish. ~Christy

Still fantastic! Although the restaurant was very busy on a Saturday night, we were seated promptly(with reservations) at a table for 7. It was roomy enough, and well positioned. Although recent menu changed did lead our table away from ordering family style, and this resulted in a higher bill, I will happily pay for an attractive environment with a good atmosphere, great food, and attentive service. Adequate free parking nearby, and a pleasant location near the Galleria, are also a plus. Our guests at last evening’s celebration dinner enjoyed all of these. Despite a few minor blips with our initial reservations, everything was nicely smoothed over with a pleasant and accommodating attitude. Very good, Magianno’s! That is the WAY these matters SHOULD be handled. Others would do well to take note… unless of course, they have no interest in my patronage. Thank you yet again!

Pretty darn good for a chain. The bread is always fresh and great with oil and vinegar(add cheese and pepper) — the mussels are really good and a large serving for an appetizer. The lobster carbonara is out of this world. It’s a huge portion and very tasty. I like the garlic cream sauce but I also have them mix their Diablo sauce with it. Makes a nice thick red cream sauce. Yummy. The staff is hit and miss. Sometimes you get a great waiter and other times(as tonight) you get a blah waiter. It is what it is. Two people with an appetizer and two meals for $ 70 is a pretty good deal– and the food is good– so I’ll give them 4 stars.

My new favs, outside of the chicken manicotti is now the Maggianos Salad and the Rustic Chicken and Shrimp… oh yes and oh my oh my! I just love the atmosphere here. Very warm and inviting. Bar dining is just fine, especially if you don’t want to wait. Lauren and Julian at the bar are awesome!

Tasty! Had an appetizer — see my check in for pic. And ordered Salmon salad-very good! My companion had the«buy one, take one home» with Mom’s lasagna to go home and the ravioli to eat. Very good as well! Great deal on that! Afterwards we both enjoyed the Lavazza coffee and a slice of tiramisu. Yum!!! I’m normally not a fan of chain restaurants-but this place is good!

Just a note about service. One person in our group had a serving that we thought was not cooked as he had ordered. We encouraged him to politely request it be returned to the kitchen to be rectified but he demurred. He ate the dish and found it OK – not great, but OK. Our server, Kelly S, must have figured this out because the manager came to the table and *insisted* that the cost of his order would be subtracted from the bill. She would not take a «no» from our shy companion. I have never seen service that equaled the experience we witnessed tonight. The manager came because of the professional intervention of the staff, we didn’t have to ask. The rest of us thoroughly enjoyed our meals. (Originally posted to Open Table)

One of my favorite places to eat! The Spinach Salad is the BEST with a bottle of MEIOMI… omg…delicious. the only reason i didn’t give this place 5 stars is because on FRIDAY’s ANDSATURDAY’s the seating can be uncomfortable. especially in those little skinny booths when its crowded people are seated so close that it seems as though you are eating at thanksgiving dinner with strangers. other than that… i love this place

After being told that our family of 4 would have a 45 min — 1 hr edit, and waiting for the hour… With a dinning room ½ empty, and never seeing a group/party arrive within that hour to occupy those empty tables, we were told that it’s another hr by a new host. Also to mention, that at the 45 minute mark we were told that 2 were ahead of us, followed by our hr mark, someone new was put ahead of us,(magically making it 3 ahead). Not only was the response unacceptable, it was also visual. There was one — one! kind, observant bartender noticed that we were being neglected. Absolutely disrespectful of our time and gross disappointment, as this was my family’s last meal together after a heartbreaking day.

Another delicious dinner at Maggianos. We brought our kids for the first time. One of them isn’t old enough(or have a big enough appetite) to do family style — which we love to do. But they both really enjoyed their kids meals(spag and meatball and grilled chicken), each comes with their choice of dessert. Husband has the fettuccine and I had the lasagna after receiving our app of mozzarella Marinara as part of the Marco’s meal thingy. One app(or salads or flatbread) 2 classic pasta choices and one dessert for $ 40PLUS you get to take home full sized portions of any other classic pasta. My lasagna was better than expected. Creamy ricotta and well flavored meat with a sweet tomato sauce. Husband loved his fettuccine, very garlicky — which is a good thing in our book. Tiramisu for dessert. Mild, creamy and espresso-ey. Our 9 yo tried some doe the first time and liked it! Service was excellent. There was a snafu with our server misunderstanding what my husband wanted. They addressed it right away and promptly brought out the correct dish. We had a ton of food to take home. Left satisfied, full and felt like we had a fun night out with the kids!

Lots of good stuff to mention. Maggiano’s is a little treat tucked inside of a nice area near Clayton. I love Italian food, and this place has been wonderful 4 out of 5 times. That makes for a good 4 out of 5 rating. First of all, this place is good for small groups as well as large. Their menu is quite wonderful with many options for picky eaters. My wife and i usually get the couples meal deal. It’s two salads or an appetizer, with two entrees and a dessert. It’s always been a winner for us. We buy an appetizer and get the salads included with the meal deal. The pasta is delicious, and not the typical«sweet sauce» stuff I see all over St. Louis. I love the lasagna, and I almost always order it as my entrée choice. Maggiano’s is simply one of my favorite spots for Italian in St. Louis; you should definitely give them a try.

Went to Maggiano’s with my father and boyfriend for dinner the other night and I was very surprised with how good my meal was! My father had a huge steak with sausage and peppers and other stuff like that and he LOVED it. He went on and on about how good it was, and he literally cleaned his plate. I had Chef KB’s Lobster Carbonara! It was spaghetti, lobster, smoked bacon, and Peas in a garlic cream sauce. Not the typical carbonara, so I was shocked at how freaking good it was! It truly was so tasty! I absolutely loved it. One of my favorite pasta dishes ever, easily! We went on a Friday night at like 6:30. It was really busy, so I’m thankful I made a reservation via Unilocal!Love when businesses have that. So convenient! What bothered me was the service. It was alright, not the best I’ve had. Our server was pretty busy, and really just sort of seemed like we were hassling him when we asked questions. I will absolutely be coming back for the lobster carbonara… It was so good. I’m actually craving it now that I’m writing this review!

I went with a friend who hadn’t been for years and possibly it wasn’t as good as she remembers. For myself, my overall impression is that they overdo things and while the food was decent, nothing was outstanding … although the dessert, something about s’mores, was easily a 4 star or better. If I ever came back, it would be just for that. The bruschetta was good but just completely covered in the tomato mixture that it made the bread start to get soggy. The shrimp scampi I had was just okay but cooked as it should be for quality. We also had the grilled salmon that didn’t seem grilled and was doused in balsamic reduction. This was my first time and while I was not all that comfortable in the bar height chairs(ate in the bar to avoid the noise of the dining room) the interior of the restaurant was a sight for me … this was a big place. One other minor detraction is having to go up the stairs AND to the back to get to a bathroom(although there is a family bathroom at the top of the stairs). Not likely I’ll be back.

My husband and I recently visited Maggiano’s for a hearty Italian dinner. We thankfully made reservations on this particularly busy Saturday night because I overheard others being told there was an hour and 45 minute wait. I don’t care how good a restaurant is, you will never find me waiting that long. My time is too precious. I’ll be 80 in the blink of an eye and don’t want to waste time sitting around waiting for lasagna or fettuccini. So if you take away anything from my review, please note that this establishment is roughly the size of a small island, a lot of people like to eat here, and you will wait a lengthy amount of time if you don’t have a reservation. What is the reason so many people like to dine hear, you ask? The FOOD!!! They have a family style menu for parties of four or more where you can select three appetizers or salads, four pastas or entrées, and two desserts. Everything is unlimited and is priced per person at $ 28.95. If you don’t have any friends or family, or simply don’t like other people, no fear… there is an option for you too! The meal for two includes any appetizer, flatbread, or two side salads, two classic pastas, and one dessert. But, wait! There’s more! You also get two classic pastas to take home all for the low, low price of just $ 39.95! That’s right! All of this can be yours for $ 39.95!!! Due to the fact that my husband really wanted chicken parmesan and it wasn’t included in the meal for two options, we each just ordered on our own, so I wasn’t able to eat my weight in pasta. However, that just meant I was able to fill up on more bread, and their warm bread served with olive oil and parmesan really hits the spot. My husband’s chicken parm was friggin’ HUGE! It was two full breasts of chicken served with a large side of spaghetti. I chose the Rigatoni D, which included herb-roasted chicken, mushrooms, caramelized onions, and a marsala cream sauce. We made a good dent in our dishes, but still had plenty left over. We would normally begin our meal elsewhere by splitting a salad or appetizer, but knowing how big the portions are here, we really didn’t need anything else. The best part of our meal came at the very end. Our server(who was extremely sweet and attentive) informed us that our meal was on the house due to someone else paying it forward and buying our entire dinner! That was such a pleasant surprise and so generous of a complete stranger to do for us! I always thought paying it forward was usually a cup of coffee or something much smaller. My husband and I now plan to pay it forward to the next person… you won’t know when; you won’t know where… but it might be your lucky day next! Until then, enjoy a great meal at Maggiano’s. You won’t be dissappointed!
