I should have written an update long go, but didn’t, I forgot about this review. 1) You have to get to know and understand all of the staff. 2) I never had a issue with their abilities or treatments. 3) The gentleman at the reception desk named Jack is very good, through and efficient. 4) Dr. Phieffer has always been the best, but she does talk to you as if you are somewhat dense, but I now see why. Most patients are dense and will not do what they are instructed, so she just gets to the points and is very direct and very to the point. I have always respected her for that.
So, if you wear your feelings on your sleeve or are a bit frail emotionally or mentally, she may not be for you. If you want to get your problems fixed and get the correct diagnoses and treatment for your issues the first time around, please see Dr. Phieffer. 5) They are about business, they fix peoples issues and expect to get paid. With that said, they will not see you (most of the time) if you have a late outstanding balance and if you do not cancel your appointment more than 24 hours out, they will bill you a $ 35 last minute cancellation charge.
They are very efficient, move fast and get things done! The nurse and Dr. Phieffer will answer any questions, but neither will horseplay or socialize with you. Again, they are about business and healing peoples ills.
I have been seeing Dr. Phieffer for almost 6 years and she knows what my issues are on the first visit every time. She has never failed to get the diagnoses right the first time.

I have been a patient of Dr Phieffers for a few years. I’ve only been one time for an annual mole check and once before that for a massive pimple a week before my wedding five years ago. Today I had another appointment to get a couple of suspicious moles checked that I noticed had changed during my pregnancy. My baby is one month old. My new born doesn’t care for others holding her yet, and I knew it would be impossible to leave her with anyone for the length of the appointment time so I knew I needed to bring her with me to see dr Phieffer. I asked the receptionist if it was alright that I brought her with me the day I booked my appt and they said no problem.
While I was at the office today, my baby was crying so terribly. I felt awful. For her and for everyone in the office. While I waited in the room for the dr to come see me, my baby would not stop crying if I put her down to change into my exam robe or sit in the chair to be examined.
After a quick check by Dr Phieffer, We figured out that I needed a couple of biopsies done. While I was being prepped for them, my baby continued to cry. A super sweet lady from the front office came in and offered to hold her for me while I had my biopsies done. The fact that they worked so hard to see me and my appointment through without making me feel as if I should reschedule, is why I’m writing this review.
Dr Phieffer is an amazing dermatologist and I trust her completely with my skincare needs. But today, her office really showed another level of courtesy by helping this struggling mommy take care of her health care needs. Thanks to them for making a difficult situation manageable. Next time I’m bringing Babysitter with me!!!

When I called to see if they had availability to accept new clients and could set up an appt within the next month they had an appointment slot a few days away! I was so excited to be seen so quickly ! My doctor is very nice and listens very well and the assistants are always so happy and sweet that I feel like I’m not judged by my bad skin, they def. make you feel comfortable and welcomed and they do a great job or providing instructions and give me a lot of free samples to try before I have to fill a prescription to help save me money. Which is awesome esp since I never has to ask for a sample because I didn’t know they had samples! I’m usually in and out in about 15 mins :)

I’ve also been a patient of Phieffer for almost five years and I totally agree with the previous review.
Dr. Phieffer is patient, attentive, superbly conscientious and keeps very informed on new treatments and techniques. She’s also an excellent listener.
Her staff is always helpful and courteous and the office is a very pleasant place to visit.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Laura Phieffer for about a year and half now. I go strictly for acne so I cannot speak to the other services she offers. Prior to Dr. Phieffer I was a patient of another dermatologist who I was really unhappy with (always running late, overbooking appointments, and expensive!) I should also note that I was shocked when I called Dr. Phieffer’s office for the first time to get in and was able to make my first appointment within a month– unheard of with dermatologists!
The first time I met Dr. Phieffer she was very nice and took the time to listen to my concerns so we could work together to fix my skin issues. She is really open to changing treatments and trying new things so if you find something that works, let her know! And don’t be too shy to speak up if you feel like you are being written several prescriptions or you have questions about prices on things.
In regards to appointment making, I have never had any issues making an appointment and can normally be seen within a week or two (sometimes even the within a day or two if there’s been a cancellation). Dr. Phieffer is a great dermatologist and her staff is friendly and efficient. Highly recommend!
