Below average wing place in downtown Richmond. Never usually busy when I visit, wings are average and waitresses are attentive. Not the best place for wings or food in general, but if you’re hungry after clubbing this would be suffice.

Its a chain restaurant so I did not expect much. However, I was surprised to learn that when you order wings you don’t get a plate to eat on. They come out in little cardboard things and no place to put your bones. Several servers had to come to our servers rescue when the wrong items came out from the kitchen. One of the line cooks even came out and was a bit upset at the waitress. While the flavors of the wings were good, they were cold to luke warm. Our waitress was VERY nice but believe I will pass on another visit. There are a lot of restaurants in town to visit.

Nothing real special to say about this BW3. If you’ve been to one before, you know the drill: wings, beer, sports. The restaurant mainly serves pub-inspired faire, focusing on their chicken wings and the many flavored sauces to choose from. This particular restaurant is close to the downtown«strip,» with a lot of competition from other local bars. That’s usually why it’s pretty quiet on the weekends unless there is a big game on. The service is pretty good too. All the waitresses are very nice, and they serve Pepsi products. Nothing special, but then again, nothing terrible either. B

Let me say right from the beginning: I didn’t actually eat here. I was in Richmond for the day on business and at around 11pm or so, my phone died. I walked to a McDonald’s and they were closing. Then I remembered the Buffalo Wild Wings near the bus station where I’d been dropped off earlier, and where I was being picked up in a couple hours. The manager was very kind from the beginning. He asked how many seats I needed and I asked if I could just charge my phone. I gave no other explanation and he immediately found seats for me and my friend. We sat there and charged our phones for more than an hour and on one gave us a side eye or asked us to leave. I don’t know about their food or beer, but I do know that this particular location was very kind to me, and I won’t forget it any time soon!

Still the worst and ghettoist buffalo wild wings in Virginia. The service is slow and the servers are rude. It takes two hours for your food to come. Make sure they bring everything to the table at once.

This isn’t the biggest or fanciest Bdubs location but it makes up for that with its location right Downtown on 15th Street. I used to literally live across the street and would frequent the establishment regularly. I’ve never had any real problems here(except for all the Cowboys fans on Sundays) and service is always decent. One thing I love about Bdubs is that they are always willing to accommodate the customer to the best of their ability. They are always willing to change a TV to what game you are interested in. I’m a huge Nebraska fan(maybe one of 4 in Richmond) and they are always more than happy to seat me in an area where they can switch a TV to «my» game. Most other sports bars are very strict about their TV schedules and it can become troubling for a fan who doesn’t want to watch VTech pummel Coastal Carolina or UVA lose to William & Mary. This place has always served good food(by Bdubs standards. They are very liberal with the sauce which I like. I would suggest only ordering wings or «bar food». I’ve had friends(usually my girlfriend or girl friends) stray from that and try things like the hummus platter or grilled ceased salad and been very disappointed. But I’d say they are at least half to blame for ordering ‘healthy food’ at B Dubs. My only complaint is that they tend to be very inconsistent with their ‘weekly’ specials with the regulations of said specials seemingly changing on a whim. This location also has a bar with a wide selection of draught beer(mostly domestic) and a variety of cocktails. While the beer is always crisp and cold it can be a little expensive sometimes. I’ve never ordered a signature cocktail here because of this reason. I’d recommend this place to anyone who likes cold beer, sports, and spicy food. Also a great location to watch a VCU basketball game when the Rams are out of town.

Worst service ever! There was two other people in the bar and we still did not get waited on for at least 30 minutes. Never will come here again!

All I can say is ewwww. This place defiantly needs an update and a good cleaning. The carpet is all torn up, the game tablets are old as the hills and the dinning room is was down right dirty. Not to mention I have never seen a waitress drag a trashcan around the dinning room to clean table while customers are still in there eating. The wait staff seemed more interested in hanging out by the register chatting then waiting on their customers. I will never go back to this location

Worst experience ever. We went in with 16 people on a Sunday night(9 adults, 5 kids under 5, and 2 infants). We were thinking this would be an relatively quick dinner with kids. Boy were we wrong. My family ordered boneless wings(I was excited to try the new angry orchard sauce), buffalitos with no sour cream, and 2 kids mac and cheeses. 15 minutes after placing our order our server tells me they are out of the new angry orchard sauce… okay. Then another 15 minutes go by and he comes out and says they are out of fruit to go with the kids meals. WTH? After an hour someone from our party walked over to the entrance of the kitchen(right next to our table) to try and flag someone down. Staff was very rude at that point. Most of our food finally arrived after about about an hour and 15 minutes. There was almost no one else in the restaurant. They only brought out one mac and cheese, no buffalitos, and no blue cheese for our wings. Our server then acted shocked that we still didn’t have silverware(umm…you had an hour and 15 minutes to figure that out). Several people at our table immediately sent food back because it was cold. At this point we just asked for the remaining food to come in boxes. When the buffalitos finally came they were covered in sour cream. I hate sending food back, but sour cream is a no-go for my husband(and we reminded them twice). Finally the manager came over to apologize. He did take some items off of our bill, but at that point we were over 2 hours into this experience and some of us hadn’t eaten. We just wanted to get out of there. He also gave each family a $ 30 gift card to that location. Too bad it’s basically useless… I won’t risk eating at this one again.

Hostess has been slow to greet and seat on every visit. But the servers are normally quite attentive and The food is good/comparable or better than other BWW locations.

Worst b dubs franchise I’ve ever been to, my friend I went there and he’s under 21 so they wouldn’t even let us in even though we were not drinking. The manager is useless. Never wasting my time here again.

I love wings, and bdubs is the closest sports bar with wings and wall-to-wall sports to my house, and that’s honestly the only reason I keep coming here. This place is pretty bad. I’m here right now actually… I had to explain what«rail» and«house» liquor was to our server. We’ve been waiting for 30 minutes and have yet to receive a drink(or water for that matter). I hate this place. I hate myself for coming here.

This is definitely a fun place to watch a Sports game. They have a bunch of sauces for their wings. My only complaint would be that it’s mostly just normal bar food. Nothing is really interesting or unexpected. Mostly just nachos, wings, burgers, and beer. I’ve been to most of the locations in Richmond and the downtown location definitely draws a younger crowd and we had a fun waiter but I’ve had all different types of service at all the locations. I’ve added a pictures of the nachos and beer that we got this time but I do enjoy the sweet BBQ sauce wings and fried mushrooms the best.

They have a good beer selection, but you would never know because the servers have no idea. We were seated and waited five minutes and finally someone came to take our drink order. I asked which IPAs they had… she had no idea. We didn’t eat this time. The servers were standing around playing games. Kinda e weber realized we were here, she stepped her game up and was funny. I love Buffalo Wild Wings… this location just might be a bust.

Buffalo Wild Wings is one of the best places to get wings anywhere, and this location is one of the better ones. While parking isn’t easy, it’s pretty much the only downside of this place. They frequently run deals, stay open very late(until 1 or 2 am usually), have the great fare that wing fans are accustomed to, and have a good atmosphere for sportsmen. While service is sometimes spotty here, tonight we had an extremely kind young lady as our server and she was very attentive. A few tips: 1) Sign up for the email club and pick your closest BWW location, they send coupons every so often; I had a $ 5 off $ 25 coupon and it definitely helped, and 2) If you are only in a group of 2 or 3, my advice is to buy one of the larger orders of wings and then just get multiple flavors within that order(I ordered a 20 piece boneless and was able to get 4 different kinds); it’s a great way to get a bunch of wings for cheap. As evidence these tips work, I managed to get an appetizer and a 20 piece boneless, feed my lady friend and I, and still have some to take home for a total of $ 23 before tip. Good deal for a semi-upscale place like this. In short, if you’re a smart consumer, you’ll love this place even more. Overall: 4.5 stars — — — — — – Pros: — AMAZING wings, and a huge variety of types. — Good selection of appetizers and non-wings as well. — Good happy hour specials and tons of available drafts. — Open late. Cons: — Service on this occasion was great, though this is not always the case. Hope you get one of the good servers. — Parking is terrible on Fridays and weekends, so you’ll probably end up having to pay for it. Other nights, check out the front and side of the restaurant and you may yet find a place to safely stow your car.

Buffalo Wild Wings is one of my primary GOTO spots. I can always counts on good wings and a really great beer selection. I frequent the Mechnicsville location because I live right next to it. That location easily gets 4 stars. This location on the other hand… not so much. Like others have said the service in this place can be very SPOTTY. Spotty as in good one day and garbage the next. This place has lately slid down hill fast. Get it together downtown location. Recycle the staff if you need to. Don’t let those bad apples spoil the whole bunch.

Service can be inattentive and slow. There is one guy behind the bar who hussles and takes care of us. Probably because we go there on a regular basis. I go with coworkers and mainly get the $ 7.99 lunch specials. They also do 60c wings on Tuesday and Thursdays. They have a reward punch card. After 5 lunches, you get $ 5 off your 6th lunch.

I hope this place goes out of business soon. The service is terrible and the wings don’t even come with sauce. We asked for extra because there was NONE on our wings and she tried to charge us. We sat down and were not seen for almost 30mins. If you’re going to have large TV’s for people to watch football, you need to have the staff to accommodate the crowds. Really poor service. There are a ton of places in the city that serve better wings than this place. Get on Unilocal, search wings, and find some hole in the wall — it will be well worth it!
