What an awesome Burger!!! I heard about Four Brothers from my friends that meet up every Tuesday for their Burger nights. I ordered The Black and Blue burger. The 6 oz burger came on a brioche bun with lettuce, tomato, grilled onions and bistro sauce. I ordered it medium, and it came out perfect. For those that are allergic to peanuts, I got good news for you. They do fresh cut fries and no peanut oil is used. I definitely will be back!!! Especially this Tuesday for their 6.99 burger night which includes fries. So 5 Stars all the way for the great food, friendly staff, and cleaned restaurant.

A sandwich is definitely not just a sandwich in Richmond. With the plethora of establishments offering everything from gyros to pita wraps, Four Brothers stands out as one of the best I’ve had in service, quality, value, and deliciousness. I didn’t get the gentleman’s name who took my order and prepared our sandwiches but he’s in the picture that I’ve posted with this review, and will be remembered, along with the rest of the crew, as delivering outstanding service, competence and informative friendliness. Bad attitudes usually reign supreme above the quality of food in quick paced sandwich shops, especially near VCU college campus, but not here at Four Brothers. Friendliness, passion for the food delivered, and an inviting warm and welcoming attitude accompanied the items we ordered. I ordered the lamb gyro combo(w/fries and drink), and my girlfriend got the honey chicken wrap. The authentic Lamb gyro meat was shaved before my eyes from the spit, and along with the honey chicken wrap was prepared precisely and professionally, not thrown together in a hurry. It’s easy to fake a smiling welcome or love for the job you’re performing, and it’s also easy to spot authenticity, and here at Four Brothers the spirit, cleanliness, and cuisine is authentic, and will have me coming back, from the Bön Air region of Richmond, south of the river, time and time again. One small criticism was that the Gyro and Chicken meat were both just a tad dry and could have used a bit more of the featured sauces on each sandwich.

Been here a few times. First time I went with a coworker. I got an Italian sub, she got another sub though I don’t recall which one. Sub was HUGE and was amazing! Both of us agreed that it reminded us of Little John’s in Charlottesville. Came back another time and got the honey chicken pita. Again it was HUGE and tasted great. Fries are solid as well.

The wrap is actually in a gyro type presentation. That was surprising. But for just a turkey bacon wrap and pesto chicken I don’t think we should have waited that long. I’d hate to see them on a «busy day». The staff is really nice though. The onion rings are really crispy and honestly for the same price as fries, I’d get it just because many places charge you more for onion rings. The combo pricing isn’t too bad at all. Around $ 10 give or take and it’s a pretty decent portion for the wrap. I may go back just to try another item but the turkey wrap itself was just mediocre.

I honestly have to wonder if I even got food from the same place as everyone else. I do acknowledge that takeout is rarely –as– good as eating in, but… meh. So meh. We got a Texas burger and a bacon burger to go, cooked medium, and after a short drive, settled in to chow down, seriously looking forward to juicy burgers and crispy fries. Cue disappointment. The burgers were acceptable, no more, no less, and in a city of ridiculously good food, that’s not very exciting, but for the price is OK, honestly. Both were cooked as requested, and the bacon burger was pretty much fine, but the onions on the Texas were more warm than fried, and the whole thing was dripping in barbecue sauce, which was a little much. Plenty of cheese, though, which is a nice touch. If I thought the onions needed a little more time to fry, however, that was nothing compare to the french fries themselves. I’m pretty sure they saw a hot oil bath at some point, but it might have been from a distance– they were cold, and damp [the box didn’t help, I realize this] and painfully undercooked. Even tucking them under the broiler until the oil was sizzly didn’t perk them up again, which tells me they were never crispy to begin with, or fully cooked. In house, the meal might have gotten three stars, but fries that pathetic when I’d had a craving just make me sad, and sad does not extra stars make.

My wife and I stopped in to get a quick bite before going to Movieland Bow Tie Cinemas. We were greeted warmly. My wife ordered the pesto wrap and I got the Philly cheese steak combo, which included French fries and a drink. Both were out of this world. As phenomenal as the food was, we were most impressed by the staff, who took such pride in what they’re doing there, which is seldom seen these days. I highly recommend it and look forward to dining there again!

Absolutely love this place. Quaint, quiet, located in the Kroger Shopping Center directly behind the Dollar Tree on the corner of Broad and Lombardy. Seating for about 25 – 30 people comfortably with clean, well-maintained eating areas. As for the food, I’ve visited on lunch a few times and have been happy with all of my meals. The portions are large, very fairly priced, and made to order. Can’t go wrong with a stomach full of food with some leftovers at $ 10. My most recent visit was all about a burger; my mushroom and swiss cooked perfectly medium was A1. Fresh, NOTCANNEDORFROZEN mushrooms were a bonus for the price point… Most of the time you end up with rubbery, thinly sliced mushrooms. Not here. The extra steps for buttering and toasting their brioche buns add an additional level of texture and flavor that I have to commend. Seriously, try this place!

The location is small, but Sooo good! I had the Greek burger and OH! It was delicious! Huge portions, amazing flavors and I bought a greek salad and a slice of the red velvet cake(I tried to have the salad and slice of the red velvet cake) I was so full I ate my salad and giant slice of cake the next day and that was amazing too! This is my new favorite cheat day place. It’s worth the extra time at the gym. I can’t stop raving about this place. I LOVEFOURBROTHERSBISTRO!

I am so glad I had a chance to grab dinner here! The burgers are amazing. I went with the lamb burger because how could I skip over that! It was the right decision, covered in feta with a nice thick patty. And the fries, which I didn’t need, were just as delicious. You would have thought I hadn’t eaten all day. I mean I was hungry, but not starving. There was so much on the menu that I want to come back and try, like the other burgers, even the wraps, but especially the gyro. It’s hard to describe a good burger objectively when it’s good. It’s not a fast food type of burger(think Mickey Ds) and it doesn’t make you regret your eating habits. It does feel you up, but not with regret. Aside from the food, I had a nice experience with everything else. I was able to order quickly, and since I wasn’t in a rush I didn’t really pay attention to how long it took for my food to come out. I’ll be back to taste the rest of the menu!

The burgers are pretty darn good in a town crowded with good burger places. Hand-cut fries are good too. The restaurant is pretty basic inside and out, but the folks seem very friendly.

Nice spot for lunch right off broad street. Walking in a was greeted by enthusiastic employees ready to take my order. I had the super gyro which was filled with lamb and grilled veggies. I definitely wasn’t expecting this amount and with this great taste. It was slightly humid and rainy outside which made Inside the restaurant humid and smokey. Other than that there were no other downsides to visiting this establishment. Id stop here again if I’m in the area and craving a great tasting sandwich.

I will say I was more than pleasantly surprised with not only the friendliness yet the quantity you receive from this wonderfully overlooked restaurant. I did get the black and blue which was lacking a little in the blue cheese flavor but the burger overall was awesome. I’ve been to a few other places and I think this place definitely gives you the most bang for your buck. I will be back for sure

It was my first time going to four brothers on VCU campus. I had called in my order but when I showed up it wasn’t ready, the guy that took my order never put it in. However when I got there, two employees put in my order and gave me a complementary fries and drink. Great hospitality I will definitely be back and the food is delicious.

My sister told me about Four Brothers Bistro and Grill. We stopped by for lunch during the week. The restaurant was very busy around prime lunch hours. I ordered a cheesesteak combo(fries & drink). I thought Four Brothers cheesesteak was delicious and filling. The fries came out hot & crispy. Everything is made to order so expect a small wait. Combo prices are on the high side. Employees were very friendly and down to earth. Parking is hit or miss depending on the time of day(small parking lot). Four Brothers Bistro and Grill is a good choice for cheesesteaks and burgers. I give Four Brothers Bistro and Grill a 3.5 rounded up to a 4 because of excellent service.

This is a newly opened burger/sub/wrap joint located in front of Kroger. I was immediately greeted by several employees who were very friendly and attentive. The vibe was very similar to Five Guys and you can see them grill the burgers in the background. I’ll say it, I’m a snob when it comes to burgers. Anyways, I got the Texas Burger(cooked medium bc as a first-timer I wasn’t sure about their meat quality) and substituted the side fries for onion rings. The burger was a nice size but was drenched in BBQ sauce which made it way too salty and it overpowered everything else. It’s easy to tell the freshness of the oil in the fryer because days old oil makes me gag in a couple bites. The onion rings(as with the burger buns) tasted like old oil that’s been used way too many times. I really wanted to like this place because of its location and the friendly employees. I might come back to try their wraps or gyros. but will definitely be avoiding the onion rings!

From the words of my fiancé «this place poops on Carytown burgers and fries!» Simply put the BEST fast/cheap lunch I’ve had in a long time! All of the ingredients are fresh and made-to-order. Service is phenomenal! I felt so guilty for indulging in all of that greasy food but it was too good to resist… I’m in trouble!(They have healthier options, don’t worry!) MUSTTRY

I’ve been wanting to try this as I frequent the Kroger. Nice sub/grill place. The guy taking orders was friendly and had recommendations. I went with the lamb gyro. It was really good although I wish it had slightly more lamb and veggies and slightly too much tatziki for my tastes. The pita was really great and did not crumble. Orders came out pretty quickly. I will be back to try other things.

Wonderful place, exceptional food, and fantastic staff. Subs, lamb burgers, gyros, wraps, and salads. The hand cut fries are a treat too. They also have made in house cakes for dessert. Prices are great for students and local residents alike. The owner Nader Hagez hit it out of the park with this one. Mr. Hagez has been in the industry for many years and he is one of the best unrecognized chefs in the city. This place is fast with great food at very reasonable prices. Must see
