Loving 2 Learn Child Care Center

Christian based childcare center; where the Director leads by example; very affordable; accommodating and family oriented. Every teacher has a genuine love for providing excellent childcare. They do not take any mess from the kids (but it’s genuine and real). Structure, mannerisms, and respect are part of their foundation. This is a little gem located in Riverdale, where the children are safe, loved, and well prepared for kindergarten. I would put this center up against any corporate establishment. The level of service provided is invaluable.

My child attended Loving 2 Learn for a couple of years. Ms. Rochane, the owner, is a lovely lady who always greeting us welcomingly. I left the center because I could not accommodate their hours because of my work commute. It was a tough decision for me because I liked the center so much. I felt the care providers were not always understanding of my struggle. The center closes at 6 p.m. and I would get off of work at 5 p.m. In this area the afternoon commute is terribly unpredictable. However, you can confidently predict that it will suck anytime after 3. Sometimes I would be anywhere from 2 – 5 minutes late. On really bad days, I would be maybe 15 minutes late. Their policy is 1 – 15 minutes late is a $ 15 charge… and they hold firm to that. It came to the point where I just wanted to cry sometimes. On top of paying out of pocket because I receive no childcare assistance from the state (I missed it by a hair), I’d rush everyday to pick up my kid, get there a couple of minutes late, greeted with composed attitude, and then had to pay the late fee. The providers never commented on the lateness but it would be written all over their faces and in their demeanor. After this became the norm, 2 – 3 times per week, being a couple of minutes late, I decided to move my son to a pre-​school closer to my job that cost the same amount as what I was paying in the care + late fees. It gave me a peace of mind because it was very stressful trying to pick him up on time, driving like a mad-​woman, and putting myself in danger… Then still be late anyway! I really enjoyed the daycare otherwise. I think they need to change their late policy to accommodate us hardworking single mothers but other than that they have my full recommendation. All of the ladies that work there are professional, courteous, and care about the children.

My daughter attends Loving 2 LEARN dAY care Center and Im very happy being there. Ms Margrette her teacher is great and she does such a wonderful job teaching my child.
