At Thai is a great place if you’re looking for a cheap meal near campus. It’s only a short walk from campus to the UV, so for those at the university without a car, that’s a plus. That being said, it’s not the best Thai food I have ever eaten. But for the price, it is a cheap and delicious meal for anyone!

I visited here for the first time, their food was really good despite the grungey appearance. I got their pad thai and spicy beef dishes and egg rolls. The beef was delicious and is what will bring me back to this place. Their pad thai was also good, but they did put a little too many crushed peanuts in it and I didn’t really like the texture, though I have a weird dislike for foods with textures. Their portions were large and I definitely got my money’s worth. Their egg rolls were fried to perfection and tasted so good that I will also have to come back for those. The service was great and I also like that they had a tokidoki quarter machine(I collect figures). All in all I will come back again and my only complaint would be that I wish the kitchen and restaurant would be more clean!

I ordered a pad see ewe with tofu, and it was pretty bad. It was really salty and probably loaded with msg. The cashier was nice, though. He was probably a college student. An extra star was given for the kind and considerate guy.

Service: You walk in you’re greeted with an apathetic stare, female attendant. Very unprofessional, impatient, & unkind. Location: very small about 5 table total. Food: noodles are good but meat tasted flavorless; as if chewing gum when it has lost its flavor. Prices: shady pricing with little fees that aren’t explicitly stated in the menu. Service is probably only due to convenience for UCR students not quality service nor quality food.

Good Thai food and fast service. So far I have not complaints about any of the things that I’ve ordered from here. Pad see ew and kang kang karee have to be my favorite

My go to Thai place for my days as a UCR student, the food here was so delicious and comforting. Also loved the Thai tea. I wish the portions hadn’t kept shrinking a little every year, but overall a great place to eat.

At Thai is definitely one of the go to places when its a cold night and I want something cheap, tasty, and spicy to warm me up. Disclaimer: I’m no expert on Thai food so I can’t judge the authenticity or compare the food very well to «higher quality thai food» FOOD: Expect the food here to be spicy, its a thai restaurant for pete’s sake! If you can’t handle the spice then they give you an option for no spice at all. And I’ve found items on the menu here that I enjoy more without the spice and vise-versa. Some of my noteworthy picks here are the thai sausage fried rice and the drunken noodles. I’ll get these any day of the week. The drunken noodles are definitely better with the spicy addition, while fried rice is all on preference. If any dish ever turns out to be too spicy here then just order a thai tea and it really brings the whole meal together. Spicy food, thai tea neutralizes the spice, repeat, repeat. Overall, I definitely like the food here. PRICE: The food is always served in Styrofoam boxes and the utensils are also always plastic as well. Water cups and the thai tea all Styrofoam. I’m assuming that is a way for them to cut costs. Ultimately it reflects in their costs. I can get a filling meal here for 5 – 7 dollars. RESTAURANT: I think most people will find the inside of the restaurant to be a little dirty. Sit at any table and it’ll probably be sort of sticky or oily. That is probably my biggest point of improvement for them. They just need to be more active in cleaning and it’ll probably help a lot of people with the image of their restaurant. SERVICE: I’ve never had too much of an issue with service here. In fact, I’ve found the servers to be pretty friendly. They won’t wait on you, but that’s because At Thai isn’t that type of restaurant. You order your food, they serve it in a pretty timely matter then you go on your way. If I ever need anything I ask and they’re pretty happy to oblige. Parking: You’ll find parking for this spot in the parking lot next to it pretty easily. If you cannot find a spot it usually only takes about one circle around until a spot frees up. Overall, again one of my favorite spots to eat in Riverside. It’s in no way a fancy sit down restaurant. It’s a casual thai restaurant to come eat with friends after classes, club activities, lunch, or dinner. It’s cheap so its college student friendly. I’d recommend this place for anyone who’s in the area and looking for good thai food.

The people taking the order can be rude sometimes(specifically the older woman). It’s annoying, but I like the food enough to endure it. Most dishes with the chili symbol can be pretty spicy, and food comes out pretty fast after ordering. Price is really reasonable and probably the cheapest Thai food in the area. For people struggling to eat the curry dishes straight from the styrofoam, here’s a small tip: split half of the rice onto the lid of the container it came in. That way you’ll have enough room to put curry directly on your rice. Your rice will still end up kind of soupy, but it’s a lot better than dumping/dipping spoonfuls of rice into the curry.

hella cheap. $ 13 for an order of half rice half pad Thai for my boyfriend and pad kee mao(drunken noodles) for me. My food was booommmmbbb. Pad kee mao is one of my favorite dishes. It might be too spicy for other people. Like someone else said, they don’t ask how spicy you want your food and it was perfect for me but my boyfriend said it was way too spicy to eat for him. I tried my boyfriend’s pad Thai and it was super saucy and not only that but the taste of tamarind was so prominent. Idk I’m not picky so I still liked it lmao but my boyfriend wasn’t a fan. At least I got to take his leftovers home to eat the next day :))

It doesn’t matter whether you ask for the food to stay or to go… either way, you are eating out of styrofoam containers with plastic silverware. The prices are reasonable, but that’s most likely because the only thing you’re getting is a whooooole lot of sauce(though the flavors are good) with very little substantive ingredients(unless you ask for extra like I did). If you really aren’t good with spicy food, stay away from ANYTHING with the pepper sign on it, because even when asking for the mildest possible, it’s just a disaster waiting to happen. My nose was like a broken faucet after a minute, my sister actually had uncontrollable tears streaming from her eyes, and we both couldn’t stop hacking up a lung. The cream cheese wontons were also just not worth the money… so overcooked I felt like my mouth was being stabbed to death.

No, I’m sorry but no. I get that it’s «to-go» but why ask us if it’s for here or to go if it’s going to be in styrofoam no matter what? It was SOHARD to eat the rice and curry because of this. I don’t want to add the rice into the curry so I had to try and add the curry to the tinnnny rice container. And it was so spicy I couldn’t stop tearing up and coughing. She didn’t ask me how spicy I wanted it so I assumed it would just be medium. Also, there was barely anything in it, my soup had more stuff in it than my curry. There were a few piece of tofu and like one basil leaf. Pretty disappointing. And the wontons were badly burnt and had no flavor. The Thai tea was good at least…

The first place that I tried when I moved to Riverside from Mexico City(3 years ago) was this restaurant. A girl that I met at the orientation brought me here and I’ll be forever in debt. My boyfriend and I always order the number 4, and it is to die for. I am a big fan of spicy food, that is why I cannot ask for more with this dish. Moreover, the prices are pretty decent. I am going to miss this place when I graduate.

Great food but super rude. I think they should learn better customer service. Come at 10.00pm and you will see what I am talking about. The cooks are humble but the lady there is very rude.

The place where I go to for lunch when I am in the UV for classes. I usually get the Pad Thai with Chicken or the Pad See Ew with Beef. The food here can be a hit or miss depending on who makes your order. Sometimes my orders can be a bit greasy, but the food is very flavorful and freshly made. I typically order their specials without rice which costs an additional $ 1 which is worth it for the extra food. The owner is very friendly and looks like it is family owned and operated which is nice to see for small businesses. This is a mainly a takeout restaurant, so I do not expect much of a fancy ambience with plates and utensils. They tend to be busy during the weekdays during lunch and dinner hours. I believe they do phone orders, but I have yet tried it and will update after a successful attempt.

Called 10 times in 10 minutes. No answer. We stopped by because we were passing by. The food tastes decent. We ordered the papaya salad and beef salad this time. We ordered a noodle and rice dish last time. They can make it very spicy if you like it that way. The price is ok. Not expensive for the amount you get. Sometimes it gets warm in the restaurant waiting for them to cook my food.

Very standard Thai food. They didn’t have too many rice options. I ordered the pad see ew, which was a little too sweet for my taste, and the noodles dried out and clumped together very quickly. I needed sauces to take home with me, but they didn’t have any lids for the sauce containers. I asked for a bunch so I could put them next to the containers for everybody else to use as well, and she hands me one. I had to ask multiple times to get the 4 that I needed for myself. I guess they’ve had issues with people taking more than they needed. Overall a very basic Thai food place, which isn’t too bad considering how close it is to school.

Went here once before and it was decent. But when I came today it was just all bad. I ordered pad see ew with chicken and they forgot my chicken so they had to redo it. When I open it my food is literally swimming in a pool of oil… If you’re going to use that much oil at least drain it out. I tried to dab it with napkins but there was just so much I literally had to pour it out… A few times cause more would just accumulate after I poured it the first time. Took a couple bites and felt like I was already covered in oil. Lost my appetite. Never coming again.

3 stars because i’m kinda scared to eat the food because its pretty dirty at the dining area and where they cook… but most of the time the food turns out good! LOL sometimes its really salty. must be from the msg. i only get the pad see ew or pad thai and they’re both great whenever i want my thai fix. if i really wanted thai food i would go to best thai or rice & spice. but At Thai is close and it hits the thai cravings. i prefer the pad see ew here rather than the pad thai. i usually get beef in my pad see ew. it doesn’t look really fresh. its pretty dry and its tough to chew. the noodles, broccoli, spices and everything else is good.
