Baker’s Drive Thru

I had one of the worst customer service experiences today while at the drive thru at Baker’s. It wasn’t as busy as it normally is. The person who was working the drive thru and claimed to be the manager was one of the rudest persons I have ever encountered. He kept messing up out order and rushing through our order. I ended up reversing out of the drive thru and going in to talk to him. He did not take ownership or responsibility nor did he acknowledge any wrong doing. He should not be a manager. I’m going to escalate this corporate.

I’ve never been to this location to stop for a quick bite. The drive through was quick, and service was great! Reyna was awesome! It wasn’t just the usual here’s your total, pay and go, she smiled and was extremely attentive and we had an actual conversation! Stephanie at the next window was just as kind and awesome! The food is great, definitely going to keep going!

WORST Bakers I’ve EVER been to! I’ve been to 6 different locations and this is the ONLY location that will NOT add dressing to a plain hamburger! They insisted on charging me for the price of a regular cheeseburger! RIDICULOUS!!!

We just left this restaurant. My first time will be the last. Yvette was rude and accused my husband of shorting her when he had left the payment next to her and she didn’t see one of the fives. My husband pointed at it and said it’s right there. She told us to go sit down, had another gal named Rachel snap at us, even after we politely said we’d just wait for our food. The rudeness, facial expressions, and complete lack of customer service were a huge disappointment.

Been on a Baker’s first-​timer binge lately. I love the double baker meal! The burger was surprisingly tasty and the fries, although plain, taste really good. It’s a nice change from all the saltiness of other fast food places.
My rating goes down when it comes to the Mexican side of the menu. I tried the machaca and egg breakfast plate. It definitely looked way more disappointing in person compared to the picture posted of it. Then again, all fast food pictures seem to glorify the food to rope you in. Taste was mediocre. The egg and machaca looked like a weird oval-​shaped patty. Spanish rice was okay and the cheesy beans were basic.
Baker’s needs to up their breakfast game if they plan on competing and expanding westward more. As for now, I’ll just stick to the double bakers.

Never in the many years that my husband and I have been coming here have we EVER been treated with such disrespect, and by a so called manger to top it off. I know that being an employee of a fast food place isn’t exactly glamorous and having to work the night shift I’m sure sucks, but if you don’t like it then don’t work there. To the manager Kenny at this store, learn to value your customers, after all of it weren’t for us you wouldn’t have a job. If anyone at the Bakers organization takes the time to read these reviews please know that you have lost a loyal customer, it may not matter since we are 2 of I’m sure millions, but hopefully this serves to at least train your «managers» to be more personable. We all have a bad day, it’s no excuse to treat people with disrespect.

Good Taco Burgers, Bean and rice Burritos and of Course: The Double patty Hamburgers!

I used to go to this Bakers all the time when I went to CBU, which is located right next to it.
Clean when walking in, no line, no wait, friendly service and incredibly quick. They bring the food to you so once you sit down your good till you are ready to leave. They often walk around and see if you need a refill, and they will even throw your trash away when finished if you want.
OK so the food!
I got the double cheese burger, very cheesy, fresh produce, and the meat is no super thick but tasty. They make it fresh to your order, which I love. Also got the fries, which are basic but good, not to greasy and again very fresh, had not been sitting around. My favorite part is the cherry coke, which is coke with a flavor splash of cherry, It tastes great been getting it for years. I do recommend this bakers!

I went to bakers for my family and I can say they messed up my order but William made it better he made us laugh and smile. They gave us a free fries, for the mistake and it was good to have someone say sorry, even though it was not his fault, it was the cooks. Just that made me happy. Thank you William.

I don’t eat a lot of fast food. I am a vegetarian and where I live there are no fast food restaurants with good vegetarian food. I could get a salad at McDonalds or whatever but it is overpriced and not good for you so no thanks.
Anyway when I visit my parents (who live in Riverside, CA) I get to come to Bakers and it is a great treat. The veggie taco burger is probably my favorite of the vegetarian options. It is hot, it is filling, and it tastes pretty good! I also had the veggie wrap but it was underwhelming. I was hoping for more flavor or maybe more rice or beans or something. It just isn’t satisfying. However that vegetarian taco burger is satisfying so I stuck with that the second time we went there.
Also when you get fries make sure you pick up a lot of their spicy ketchup. I have no idea how they make it but it tastes so good. I usually don’t eat ketchup on anything. I was raised where if you put sauce on something that means it tastes horrible and you need to use sauce to cover up the bad taste. My mom actually was the one who recommended that I try it. The spicy ketchup makes eating fries worth it! I couldn’t believe how good it was.
The drinks are large and there are delicious choices like vitamin water and green tea. You can also get bottled disani water (they only have very small bottles).
Anyway for a vegetarian fast food restaurant they are great. if you want amazing food you shouldn’t be going to fast food. If you want something fast and filling and that tastes pretty good — then come to bakers,
If you are not from California then you definitely need to try Bakers because this is the only place you will get it!

Hit this place on our way back from the desert and it hit the spot. I like places that have a lot of variety and this joint offers Mexican as well as burger-​type fare. Something for everyone — except they don’t offer any type of chicken strip of nugget, which is kinda weird. The food is fresh and tasty though. We would hit it again.

The kids like the tacos and burritos, but I’m not a big fan of there food.

You charge me for extra cheese on my chili cheese fries and then reduced the amount of chili to basically nothing.

I always order the same thing at bakers. Monterey quesadilla (add chicken) with small drink– so as I order my food and she gives me the total at the drive thru of almost ten dollars, I assume I mis heard her. I look at receipt and they charged me four bucks to add chicken!!! That’s more than the whole quesadilla itself cost! I asked hereby I was charged so much, because my meal is never over 7 dollars. She was very nice but told me her manager had told her to charge me twice for the chicken!!! Wth. I wasn’t going to make a stink as I didn’t want spit in my food but really??? bakers lost my business for sure!

Drove up early on Sunday after driving over an hour and got hungry. Ordered the Chorizo & Egg burrito and 2 Egg Tacos YUM! I especially enjoyed the tater tot sticks, delicious. Our cashier was very friendly and advised us if we check in at the other Baker’s they will also honor the free Chicken Sandwich. What a bargain!

Every time I come here these employees are so nice!
Food was great and consistent.
Ambience is lacking, interior is pretty bland.
Would like to get my ordered soft drink before I get my food like a normal place.

So the burger items here a bit cheaper than In ‘N Out. However, the taco items here are a bit more expensive than Taco Bell. I had a chance to try out both options… For the burgers… You’re paying less than In N Out and you get less food for it. So the prices are proportional for the price. Nothing too fancy here. I find it interesting how the tacos have a half slice of a tomato rather than small diced tomatoes.

Bakers Burgers rival In N Out. They are sooooooo good! And the fries although they aren’t made the same way as In n out rank side by side for me too. There are always heated discussions about fries.
The beans are made fresh daily although I’m not a huge fan of their Mexican menu.
I love the mango shake. It’s not to sweet and has fresh mango flavor.
Bakers is an icon of yummy fast food in the IE.

This is within walking distance from campus (CBU) and they always have great deals. (please see tip below)
