Horrible horrible service last night our waitress acted is I’d we were a burden to her we had a party of 15 it wasn’t until we went and sat at the bar we got good service

I was very disappointed when I came into the restaurant this evening. The customer service was horrible. I actually love the food Famous Dave’s offer. The food was great, but we asked for the manager due to him not having any banana pudding which is the main reason I came to this restaurant. Needless to say, I won’t ever return here again. After twenty minutes, the manager still didn’t come. What kind of customer service is that???

We use famous Dave’s BBQ sauce at home, so when we heard about this place it was put on our hit list. We liked it! Went for lunch had no problem with service. Brian our server was very attentive and did a great job. The food was brought out quickly, I had chicken sandwich which was very tasty the coleslaw was a little bland but overall satisfying. My boyfriend which is very difficult to please when hungry! lol was very impressed with the juiciness of his BBQ bacon burger. He also had their fries which were more like potato wedges. Had no issues whatsoever and will definitely eat there again. The pricing for lunch was good $ 23 plus tip for both. Next time I want to try their ribs or brisket.

Food was amazing! Awesome service by Daniela. We mentioned my husbands birthday early in service and before our check they gave him a complementary ice cream. We are excited to come back! Ribs and brisket were delicious! Corn bread was sweet and moist. Good coleslaw and large variety of sauces. Keep up the good work!

My husband and I went in for happy hour. Melissa was our waitress. We regret going in there. Horrible customer service from Melissa. My husband asked what beer selections they had. She rolled her eyes and hesitated with telling us the beer selection. We placed a order of the rib tips and instead brought us something completely different. We waited for her to come back and told her that was not what we ordered. She rolled her eyes and said yes that’s what you guys ordered. We should of walked out at the point but we do love their food & wanted to give her another chance. We told her that was not what we ordered once again and she sighed and rolled her eyes once again and took the plate back. With that said we won’t be going back.

Good food cool area, trendy and hip with a wide selection of craft beers which his great, but only about 10. Small foods and big foods are affordable and handsomely served. I saw many awards and prizes for stuff in the restaurant so thats cool and the TV set up was rather good if you ask.
Great place to hang out and have some good food.

Local BBQ place that actual tastes good and has affordable pricing. We’ve dined here a few times and every time we’ve left with full tummies and happy faces.
Come here in crowds because the portions are plentiful!!!

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat after the nearby AMC movie theater. Opted for the two meat combo with beef brisket and white meat chicken. Not very thrilled with the food or the service as noted below:
1. Brisket was cut way too thick and not nearly as tender as the Famous Dave’s in Costa Mesa.
2.Chicken was lukewarm, like it had been sitting around for a long time. No juice in it.
3. Cole slaw was way too chunky. I prefer the slaw at KFC much more.
4. I was completely done with my meal before the female server ever made a visit to ask how my meal was and to refill my coffee. WHY? The restaurant was only about 33% filled.
5. When I ordered another coffee and extra side of the super yummy beans, neither came with a spoon or fork and then the server vanished. What was I supposed to do… eat with my hands and stir with my fingers?
6. Only 1 of the 10+ big screen TVs at this location was set to show the captions on the screen to let us know what the commentators were saying. When I pointed this out to a manager, he said he had not noticed and that I was the ONLY person to ever notice that. WHAT? Isn’t that part of HIS job and that of the bar manager to ensure the best possible customer experience? big time FAIL.
7. Upon leaving, I stopped by the hostess stand to get a toothpick. Two girls were there chatting and none bothered to even acknowledge my presence, smile, nod or… God, forbid… give me a nice departure greeting like: That you for joining us at Famous Dave’s…Please come back and visit with us again.”…They just looked totally bored with their job. Who trained these nitwits with NO sense of customer PR and Goodwill? Do the managers ever watch them to see what they are doing other than goofing off and chit-​chatting?
Overall this location gets a pretty bad fail in almost every area. With both The Yard House and Buffalo Wild Wings walking distance away, you would THINK management would do some soul searching, for the last 10 Unilocal reviews here are all pretty embarrassing to say the least.

Food is great. Service was horrible. Had a large party of people for lunch and we understand things slow down in larger groups. Manager was around but did not help the server or other servers.
I work in a resteraunt and know how things should be ran and was able to recognize many problems that explain why service was aweful.
But food is good, i suggest take out

Parking is a nightmare. Food is excellent. Quite pricey tho. Still 5 stars because it was so good. Not as clean as I’d like but major points for having filtered water. It’s a pet peeve of mine to go to a nice restaurant and be served water from the tap, which I won’t drink. I haven’t had tap water in ten years or more and won’t start now. The corn bread is too good to even explain, almost like cake. Doesn’t even need butter, so so good. Their pickled onions are addictive and it blows my mind that they don’t sell them to go. They could be making bank on the pickled onions alone. They do sell the cornbread to go and It’s honestly the best I’ve ever had. It’s in a level of obscene when my husband and I tear into those. Fairly close to being considered the next best thing to sex.

Very good meal experience the only reason this isn’t 5 stars is because the parking is ridiculous, its shares it with the mall and 4 other restaurants plus a theater. But the food is still worth it I think next time we will park across the street at big 5 and walk across. The prices are steep but I am going home with a snack for later.

Service is ok this time but they have done better!
Their meat actually tastes like it was smoked and not baked! I am def impressed with their bbq! Although… They claim its brisket but it’s not even close to that! It’s just corned beef… Not even close to a good brisket! But it was cooked well and had a good smoke ring. Not going for that again but that is the only reason why it is a 4 star… Lies lol
Their portions are fabulous and price is well where it should be! Affordably delicious!
