Flatbread pizza is no joke superthin, so thin that all the cheese is too heavy so it falls apart when you try to eat it. Nice and cheesy though, mushrooms were marinated, if i had known I wouldnt have ordered them. I ordered avacado on top but there was very little avacado. The pizza was very large though. I ended up passing it off to friends to eat.

Riverside is lucky to have this place! The ingredients are super fresh and everything was delicious. I had the burger and my husband had the Antonio’s favorite. The«bread» this place uses makes the meal filling but not heavy. The burger had incredible favor and seasoning. We shared a gelato to finish the meal and I can’t say enough good things about the pistachio. Y’all should come try this :)

This place is a gem! The owner is Italian and is a sweetheart. He takes the time to get to know you even if you’re just a first timer. He is also very helpful with the menu and how to adjust it if you have any allergies(like me and my dairy allergy). The berry gelato was berry good(haha sorry for the pun, I had to). If I’m ever up in riverside I’ll be sure to come again for the great customer service and delicious gelato!

This place is always amazing. Was skeptical seeing all these new workers but they’re speedier now and the flat bread pazza is just amazing. Made right there and not too long a wait. It’s authentic and the owners made me feel welcome talking about their Italian background and such :) The pazza is also huge haha

This is the third time I’ve been here and I have never been disappointed. The atmosphere is nice and clean, and the food is pretty good. I am most impressed by the fact that the food is served in HUGE portions yet it will not make you feel bloated afterwards. It will satisfy your appetite without the guilt of eating too much. Although it is a little pricey for one meal, the portions more than make up for it! Plus, there are always coupons and discounts available. Another thing I am also impressed by is the owner, Antonio. My organization recently held a fundraiser here and it’s great how they’re not on your ass about handing out the flyers in-store unlike other establishments. You can see Mr. Antonio’s passion for the product and his hands-on style. He is always very accommodating every single time I’ve been here. Definitely coming back in the future!

The gelato tastes amazing! BUT they’re pretty expensive. A small scoop cost maybe about $¾. Not something I would like to spend all my money on. However, I tried both of their cannolis and they are DELICIOUS! Now those, are absolutely worth it.

I realized I never wrote a review for this place… I remember when it was grand opening. I was curious as to what this new place in UV was. I also received a flyer about their grand opening events offering free food. I love free stuff, so of course I went. I ordered a flat bread pizza, and spun the wheel of fortune to see what fate would bestow upon me. Would I get a free cookie? A free drink? Free gelato? 20% off my order? I was saddened at first when it landed upon 20% off, because that day of the week, everything was already 20% off. so I thought my spin was wasted. However… the owner congratulated me and said that this was the best prize. I was confused and then he handed me a little card that said 20% discount, and he signed it, and said I received 20% off FOREVER. I was like wow, 20% off forever, this is great! Anyway, now on to my actual review. This place is like the only legit Italian place in the area, and it’s so close to campus. Some people may say it is over priced, but I don’t mind because I get 20% off everything LOL. Overall, I like the food, the Italian style pizza is really thing and gigantic, it’s quite unique. The food here is not bad, although I have personally never tried the gelato so I’m not sure how that is. I really like the uniqueness of the super thin flat bread pizza though, so I’d say 4 stars. Also, the manager is like really legit straight from Italy, and the interior design of the place is nice.

I was initially skeptical of Piad’Amore’s ability to «wow» me. Fortunately, my skepticism was unfounded. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was delicious, and the staff was beyond polite. I strongly recommend any first time patrons to this fine establishment to give«Antonio’s Favortie» a try as it is absolutely stupendous(a word I do not use lightly). Should you find yourself with room for dessert, then I recommend springing for some cannoli. I would recommend a flavor, but I’ve had 4⁄6 of the flavors thus far, and they’ve all proven worthy of my praise. While at the Piad’Amore I had the privilege of meeting the owner, Anotnio. After speaking with Antonio, it became immediately apparent to me that this man had poured his heart and soul into creating Piad’Amore. Round of applause to him for pursuing his dream. TLDR: Excellent place to eat, awesome owner.

Decided to come here after seeing a cute little ad about how Fettuccine Alfredo is not authentic Italian… I became curious to see what was. I was immediately greeted when we walked in by the friendly staff. I mentioned the ad to the Italian owner and he filled me in on what REAL Italian food was. Intrigued, I wasn’t sure what to order because everything looked/sounded amazing. I ended up with a piazza grilled veggie wrap. My hot date(my niece) got a cheese pazza. We shared. The flavors of each were so distinct and flavorful. Amazing! We kept looking at the menu and the Affogato caught our eye: Italian espresso with a scoop of gelato! It was delicious. I can’t wait to go back and try the rest of the menu. Five stars for the service, taste, ambiance, cleanliness, authenticity of food(and real ingredients)!

Cute little Shop located in university village. It’s definitely something different and I’ve never had any food like it. The owner Antonio is very friendly and proud of his establishment The food was great(Antonio special) and the gelato was soo refreshing I like how they have many meat and cheese options to add on as well as veggies Will definitely be back to try their pizza :)

This restaurant executes its purpose to perfection. It’s a casual, AUTHENTIC, Italian sandwich/pizza/coffee/dessert spot. Don’t let all the Italian names of the items intimidate you, Antonio(the owner) or any of his friendly staff are eager to help guide you through the large menu. The classic cold cut Italian meats and cheeses fill out whichever type of dish you want, and the desserts(not just the gelato!) are the real deal. I’ll be back often, there’s a lot left to enjoy. Saturday is date night(BOGO50), Wednesday is Spin the Wheel night(prizes) and Thursday is Learn Italian night! I’m glad it’s close to UCR, because I can walk there for lunch during the week.

Definitely a place to check out if you’re in the area! Friends recommended this place so we came by to check it out. I don’t really know where to begin, so I’ll start with the gelato. DELICIOUS. Probably one of the best gelato I have tasted. It’s very smooth, decadent, and milky. I tried the three scoops(bc it came with my new combo) the chocolate, vanilla, and coffee. Enjoyed the combination very much. It looked like the mixed berries gelato was the most popular cause they didn’t have anymore): next time! So try the gelato, it’s a must. For the food. The menu looks very intimidating so don’t be afraid to ask what’s popular! That’s what I did and they recommended Antonio’s Favorite! It’s prosciutto with mozzarella, tomato, olive oil, and basil. Already my favorite and I haven’t tried anything else. What’s very unique is everything is incredibly fresh, the prosciutto is aged for 2 years! You’ll feel the intense flavor from that and it’s amazing. Only thing is that the breaking can be a little on the thick side, but who cares it’s about the prosciutto! And it’s also very light for those who are about the fit life. Lol. Also got a bite of the Carpaccio piada, omg. It’s great too and the meat is also 2 years aged. Another great recommendation! CANNOLO! Another must have. You just have to try it, I won’t tell you guys. It’s something you must try yourself. I’m going a little too crazy on this review, but only because this place is legit, authentic Italian food. And on top of that, the owner is very very friendly. Always making sure everything taste great and giving a back story of all the food. Great place, great owner and staff, and AMAZING food. I’m out.

It’s got a modern Italian vibe and is a pleasant place to do your homework/study in, and the food is good! You can take a gelato break in between cramming for exams! I had the Classico burger which was juicy but not greasy and left me wanting more. The burger came with a side of peppers and mushrooms which complimented the burger well and was better than the typical side of fries. I feel like if I eat a burger from here 5 days a week I’ll actually look like an Italian supermodel at the end of the month as opposed to eating a burger at Farmer Boys and looking like… a typical overweight ‘Merican? Definitely worth a try and a gander at the least. It’s really laid back and hip in here and I hope more people give this place a try.

4−9−15 I went back and ordered the Antonio’s Favorite again. I have been craving it for days, even though I was there less than a week ago. As always, it tastes great, and I got my basil this time~! ^-^ Thanks boss! Keep up the great work! Super fast service, and consistency. I love it! (A few minutes later) I wish I made it a combo… I want gelato right now.

Little Italy in Riverside?! Yes! Well, this little shop at the UV(University Village) near UCR had an extensive menu. It was slightly overwhelming figuring out what to order because Piad’Amore offered plenty of options on their menu from savory sandwiches and«pizzas» to imported products and desserts, including gelato! The young lady who greeted us was friendly and let us sample the gelato before making a final decision. I ended up ordering the Piad’Amore Special, which had cherries and chocolate, and the Caffe because I just love coffee-flavored ice cream. I sampled the Pistachio but it was just okay. I prefer the Pistachio from Vitaly in Costa Mesa. The Tiramisu had a good flavor, as well as their Frutti– something. I forgot the name. My only disappointment comes from the texture of the gelato. It’s not as smooth as other gelato I’m accustomed to. In fact, it was closer to the texture of churned/homemade ice cream. It wasn’t as rich nor dense either; instead, it was more airy — actually, more airy than frozen custard. And definitely far from liquid nitrogen-made ice cream. The flavors were good; however, I prefer gelato to be rich, smooth, and creamy than airy and sparse. It would be great if they made their own gelato! I did like the interior. The red booth and gray walls looked attractive with white and dark brown accents on the furniture. I absolutely loved the cute connecting heart tables! Overall, I’d like to come back again and try some of their sandwiches and pizzas but, for now, I’ll skip the gelato.

I highly recommend Piad’amore for the following reasons: 1) The food is delicious, I really like the crescionis and the piada pazza 2)The desserts are decadent, especially the cannolos, the sfogliatella and the gelato. 3) The espresso is good quality, strong and smooth tasting. 4) The ambience is great and the service is great. A lot of attention is paid to detail, this is very evident even in the décor. 5) If you are lucky enough to walk in at a time when Antonio is there(which is almost always), you get to be greeted and attended to by a beautiful and lovely Italian man. My favorite place at the UV without a doubt!

5 stars because I only tried the gelato and it was amazing! They have a lot of other flavors and I samples most of them. They were all really good and I couldn’t decide which flavor to get! I ended up getting the tiramisu. It had a lot of flavor and it had little cake bits in it. You can get it in a cup or a waffle cone. They also have a lot of other dishes. I saw that they had pizza, flatbreads, pizza, and a lot of other things as well as desserts. I will definitely be coming back to try the food.

This place is really good! The portion sizes are huge so don’t be thrown off by the prices. I tried Antonio’s choice Piada(flat bread), build your own pizza, gelato and expresso. Everything was delicious! You can tell that the ingredients are high quality and fresh. AND…for all you thirsty ladies out there… the manager(Antonio) is also delicious ;) He really takes care of his customers!

THEBESTGELATO… EVER! A scoop of their authentic Italian gelato and you’ll never go back. I highly recommend trying the Piad Special and Pistachio flavors, but they’re *all* soft, creamy, dreamy, sweet without being too sweet, and simply delicious! Their panna cotta is also a delightful treat, which the owner has regarded as one of their best-sellers. If you’re stopping by for something more hearty, I recommend anything with bresaola, which is a high-protein, very lean and flavorful meat(beef) unlike anything else. The owner is Italian, charming, and friendly. He knows his way around Italian food and has great taste when it comes to recommending what pairings and combinations go well together. I’m giving this place four stars only because the piada bread is a bit thick and stiff for my taste personally. For anyone who feels the same way, try eating it open like a pizza with a light drizzle of their fresh balsamic dressing… and it’s delic! They have a 15% discount for students so bring your ID. :)
