Great place to run in for things I’m out of. Like kimchi and ramen. I don’t mind paying a bit more for the convenience. I usually have to drive to Diamond Bar. I find they have a nice selection of most of the items we use. The staff is very nice here.

Awesome place if you are in need of Korean ingredients/food. I was really impressed with the amount of merchandise they had. Some things were a lot cheaper versus big supermarkets like H Mart or 99 Ranch.

A small korean market but it’s only one korean market in Riverside. I can buy most of my grocereis here, but sometimes go to Fullerton to get fresh fish. Meat is very good and inexpensive. Fully satisfied.

For a small korean market in Riverside, this isn’t a horrible supermarket. In fact, it really has everything I need when I’m in a bind. Normally, I’ll drive to Buena Park and buy most of my groceries there, but sometimes it’s nice to have a local spot. There’s a meat market in the back. You pay separately from the other items, but the meat(fresh & frozen options) is fairly inexpensive. This is located right next to Joe’s Sushi restaurant. They offer a punch card system too. If you spend $ 205 times(?) you get $ 10. Not a bad deal since Hmart or other chain markets don’t offer deals like that. There is a small selection of already made side dishes towards the side and even occasionally some ready made side dishes like veggie pancakes near the cash register.

The store is in the back by joes sushi. They have most of the stuff you need to cook some good food:) The lady that work there has good customer service and helped me find what i was looking for with no attitude. Hopefully I can return more often to buy my asian dishes ingredients.

I come here for various ingredients, sauces, local produce, candy and(always) iced coffee. The owners & staff are very friendly and helpful. As of late July 2014, they have expanded their gifts & housewares section. In August, they changed their hours and are now open on Wednesdays. I prefer to shop at local businesses like this even if it is a little more expensive.

Small mom & pop establishment with hands down the BEST pork belly(sam gyup sal) anywhere… and this is coming from someone who used to hate pork! The pork belly from here has converted me and for that alone, 5 stars. You can also pick up fresh accompaniments(i.e., lettuce & shiso leaves) to eat with the yummy pork.

Good if you need supplies in a pinch. The produce isn’t that good, likewise the meat. The prices aren’t great, but there aren’t too many alternatives in the immediate area.

I think this is the closest Korean market in Riverside. It’s also called Star Market(?). It’s not big nor small but it would be hard to find for those who don’t really know Riverside area very well. Decently priced. Some stuff are expensive and some stuff is a deal so you have to lookout and know what’s worth it and not. It has a good variety of mostly Korean food. You can’t use credit cards if it’s less than 10 dollars.

I love this little market, my grandma has been taking me here since I was a kid. It’s located behind Joe’s Sushi, so it’s kind of hidden… and it’s a very small place, but they do have a lot of goodies. They don’t have everything you might need, but it’s a great place to go if you are only missing a few key ingredients to complete your meal. The people here are friendly and they’re very welcoming to help with any questions you might have about any of their items. Another cool aspect of this place is that they accept EBT. I find myself just stopping here on hot days just to get sweet bean popsicles and mochi ice-cream. I would have to drive a lot further if it weren’t for this place. and for that reason I give them 4 stars! Kirin Asian Market saves the day! Very convenient and I will continue to shop here as long as they stay in business.

This is the closest asian market to riverside. It is pretty overpriced but the gas to drive to LA pretty much evens it out. I think the owners have changed, so their selections have grown a bit from before, but they still just carry the basics. It’s usually pretty empty when i go there, and the owners are pretty friendly. Just be careful with the expiration dates. I’ve never had a problem with it but i had a few friends that said they went home and found out their stuff was expired. But overall, you can get your quick basic fixes here(:

Im so glad that this place is here… i don’t have to drive all the way to LA area to go grocery shopping especially with traffic! it’s really small but they have all the basic korean ingredients you need. BTW i think they changed the business name to: SAETBYUL Market. strange but that what it said on the business card. parking is really strange. the first time i went there i didn’t know where parking was. its behind the building … same with the entrance. the lot is small too sometimes no parking :(

Living near LA for about 6 or 7 years, I grew accustomed to seeing an Asian mart here and there, and after coming to Riverside for college, I’ve taken the many Asian marts for granted. This little hole in the wall does meet the bare essentials of Asian cravings, well particularly Korean cuisine. The only problem is that this place is ridiculously expensive for what you actually buy compared to buying it at a Korean super market like Hamni mart. There selections, not too great but if you’re a college student looking for Korean instant noodles it can meet your needs. Oh and the entrance to the store is from the back. Go around the block, you will see what I mean. They have kimchi, kimbab, and other things you would need. They also have an assortment of instant korean food but like I said before, it wont be easy on the wallet.
