I grew up in Riverside, but live in San Diego now. Whenever I visit my hometown, this is my one stop shop… I can pick up what I need for a night or two in a fast and efficient way. Michael is such a wonderful person to experience check out with and performs his job extremely well. Always pleasant and is happy to start a conversation. Remembers me even if I haven’t been to this location in months. Great prices and staff is always attentive and available to help.

My family has been shopping Stater Bros in the Inland Empire area since about 1957. This location(on Arlington near the Riverside airport) I’ve been to hundreds of times as well as the Magnolia location(by Jackson st). The Magnolia location has everything I need 99% of the time. All labels turned forward facing, items in their rightfully tagged places. It’s obvious they go to great effort to make the stock as perfect as possible. I appreciate that effort!!! Now, I check out the one on Arlington location again today. I can’t count how many times I went here, only to find COMMON items not in stock. Today’s list, and I had a SMALL list of things to get. Here is what they did not have: NO peach Kerns juice drink(but all other flavors) NO Two Bite brand Lemon Lime cupcakes NO Chicken Fettuccine Stoffers TV dinners NO32 can box of cat food Friskies brand Only ONE12 pack of diet caffine-free coke(sale requires you buy 3 at a time) so I could NOT get coke. ALL yogurt labels turned around every which-way so I had to check EVERY one I bought. Ice cream, also jumbled up, not facing forward and flavors all mixed around so I had to really dig around to find what I wanted. I’m guessing management at the Magnolia store is far superior to this Arlington store. Not sure why the big difference, but as I said, this is based on many, many visits. No more trips to the Arlington Staters any more, I’m done here. Besides, the parking lot bums are WAY cuter at the other location. :)
