I have been living here with my dad for a little over a year, and to me, that year is enough. This place is, to put it bluntly, a shithole. I would rather live in a carboard box than live in this apartment one more day.
They promise so many amenities: sound proof walls, a pool, a tennis court, etc. I can hear my neighbors loud & clear. There is no pool, and there are no tennis courts. They charge $ 15 for a garaged parking spot. They leave one dryer and two washers for an entire building (12 units) to share. You can’t take the lint after each dry session because they lock it. These washers/​dryer only work when they want to, and even when they claim to have fixed them, they still don’t work properly. Instead of upgrading the appliances, they keep «fixing them.» My mom and I are currently doing laundry, and the dryer only dried half of my clothes. One of the washers didn’t rinse my mom’s clothes all the way so it was almost as if they were just put it. When I went to put my second load in the dryer, they were only in for about 2 – 3 minutes before the dryer broke completely. It’ll make the sound and give the impression that it’s drying, but it doesn’t spin at all. They don’t even clean the hallways of the b
