Napa has been hit or miss for us. Sitting on the patio in nice weather is definitely a hit. Came once with me and the kids and everything was great. The next time, our food was just ok. Went again with friends since they wanted to eat here and it was good again. Not sure I would come again without a groupon or other deal. Seems to be too much of a gamble.

I have been here a handful of times, and I must say, it is consistently good. It never blows me away, I don’t think their pizza is anything outstanding when compared to all of the other places around(Tony D’s, Gate House, etc.), but it is consistently good. My girlfriend is absolutely obsessed with their Chop Salad, to the point where it is getting a little weird. To her, it is the best salad in the world. To me, it is a Caesar salad with white beans. Good, but nothing spectacular. I love the fresh, soft, thin, bread sticks they give you to snack on along with the white bean hummus-like spread. They are very unique and delicious. Also, they source a lot of their ingredients from their own farm, which they LOVE to tell you about. I get it, enough already. Every time I come in I get the same schtick. We have been here a few times and got a different pizza every time, and always leave satisfied. Overall, a good neighborhood restaurant.

Atmosphere was great when we walked in, was hoping to be seated in a romantic location where the lights were dim for two; they do have ambiance in certain sections of their restaurant, but I haven’t seen upstairs so can only give 3 stars currently. Customer service was impeccabe. Our server was always checking on us and wondering what we thought about the food. My favorite part of the experience was knowing everything was home made — including their dessert, which I must say was not the sweetest I’ve had. The server made sure I received whipped cream for the bitterness. The food was definitely unique. The server recommended that we try their pizza and did say sharing a pizza wouldn’t fill us up and that is very much so correct, we plan to give this place another shot in the near future. My bf and I agree on a 6.5 overall experience so far.

What a wonderful atmosphere, and vibe… and the food is so delicious! Take the fact that this place has its own FARM that uses its own produce and the servers that are prompt and professional… what more can you ask for? Bravo!

My boyfriend took me here for my birthday last Saturday. We got the chicken fritters to start and the hellfired pizza to share. The parm sauce on the chicken was delicious! The pizza was also amazing! Wish it was a little crispier. but still good! The pickled jalapeños made it! Now for the service. To say the least, our server was horrible. She had another server clean our table, bring our food both times, and clear it. Frankly, the only thing she did was take our order and bring us the check. She didn’t refill our drinks once, which was really frustrating, because that pizza was spicy! So half of the meal my mouth was on fire. I was a little upset that the other server wasn’t ours, she was smiling, joking with her tables and looked like she enjoyed her job. Ours on the other hand looked miserable and like someone had forced her to go into work that day. Did I mention there were maybe a total of 4 tables in the whole restaurant? Yikes. If it wasn’t for our server, I would have given 4 or even 5 stars.

Terrific place with a cool atmosphere — a Rochester gem. Very knowledgeable and accommodating for gluten-free diners. The salads were excellent and the gluten-free crust is actually made on premises. Our server was absolutely delightful. She was prompt, a good communicator, and excited about the food. Seems like a very versatile restaurant in terms of occasion — great for a fun evening with a large group, but also a nice casual place for just two people. Families would enjoy it, but also couples. We were there on New Year’s Eve, and it had a nice festive feel. My one suggestion would be for the restaurant to strive for not only fresh ingredients(which they definitely have) but also move toward increasingly organic, grass-fed, etc. Looking forward to returning soon!

This review is for takeout only. I haven’t been into the restaurant yet, but I loved the food enough that I really would love to! So I spent NYE with friends in Rochester, and we were doing a nice and chill evening where we played board games all night long. They suggested this place for dinner, so I sent Lee along with my other friend to pick up the pizzas. Now, I grew up in California, so to some people, that might dismiss me from being able to have an opinion on what is good pizza. But we had good pizza in California, honest! The usual«style» for a California pizza is a really thin crust, almost thin enough to be like a crunchy cracker. That’s actually the style of pizza that this place does, and they do it well. The pizzas we got were The Tasty, which is their signature combo, the Parma, which is a white sauce with artichokes, and a Poplette, which has tiny meatballs. All of the pizzas were delicious, with good sauces and nice tasty toppings. I think the Tasty was probably my favorite of the three. Lee reported that although they were incredibly busy when they went to pick up the pizzas, they had ours nice and hot and ready. All we needed to so was a little hit of heat in the oven, and our New Year’s was a wonderful success. Yum! I definitely want to go visit and go inside the restaurant next time I’m in town.

I guess we hadn’t been here for at least 1.5 years… the menu has changed a bit and the prices have gone up, no surprise. I do like this place especially their vast patio in summer — one of the better outdoor spaces in town. Given it was December we weren’t going to be sitting outside and with a reservation we got four seats upstairs. The upstairs feels a bit tight but it certainly was nice and warm. Our server was super friendly and helpful despite a pretty big crowd on Saturday night. One member of our party ordered the Tuscan onion soup, her review: French onion soup without the cheese and croûton… OK but not great. The pizzas were a bigger success the Parma with figs was as we remembered it very good, the Tasty was, yes, tasty and the other pizzas, which I no longer recall got thumbs up from the others in our group. Overall one of our two favorite places in town for pizza especially in summer…

We went for a work lunch, and I was very happy with the pizzas we got. My favorites were the White Pizza, so garlicky, and the«Tasty». I liked the funghi and the Hellfire, but both seemed to be missing something to take them to the next level. Still, the crust was good, the drinks were good and the atmosphere and service were good. Great spot

Super cute patio! The food is pretty good, service was decent. Best place to catch up with some girl friends with some homemade sangria on the patio :)

I love having Sunday Brunch here. They have unlimited bloody mary’s and monmosa from 11:30 — 3:00 on Sundays. The drinks tend to have decent amount of alcohol in them and the staff are pleasant. They have a nice outside seating but the bees and flies keeps it from being enjoyable.

I ordered some food for pick up here a few nights ago, and it was delicious. I loved what I saw of the inside too. We got the truffle pizza and the gnocchi. The truffle pizza was pretty good, but the gnocchi was amazing. It’s a little pricey here, but the serving sizes are big and the food is delicious.

Hidden away in what looks like a big maroon house is the deliciousness that is Napa Pizzeria. Honestly, it’s pizza that is wood fired, Neapolitan style pies. First thing you walk in here and that warm, tomato and cheese filled air hits you right in the face. That itself is enough to make anyone weak in their knees. If that doesn’t do it, take a deeper breath. The ambiance is spectacular and the hustle and bustle of this lovely joint makes one feel warm. We were immediately seated despite it being a Saturday evening. Because it’s pizza, the only thing to go with it is beer. The server told us the specials for the evening. I ordered the Brown Ale and my buddy ordered the IPA. For the pies, obviously I went for the Margherita and my friend ordered the Pepperoni. The order didn’t take much time to come out, but when it did, I had a tsunami of the saliva in my mouth. Hot and fresh pizzas right out of the oven. Sauce made from the freshest tomatoes, cheese perfectly melted and the dough. Oh, the dough! Thin and crisp just the right amount but it still had a bite to it! Really, really divine pies that left us wanting more but we knew we’d have eaten too much if we’d split a third one. Nonetheless, we had a great experience here! Excellent service and food to match the ratings! Definitely a must on your list if you’re in this area!

This is another cool spot in Rochester I got the chance to visit… let me start by saying this could have been a 5 star review but their Wi-fi is available for *management use only* On to why they get 4 stars. This place has an extra special outdoor seating space that is very artsy/urban garden like with murals/graffiti art strewn across the brick walls outside and a seating area thats almost garden like with the plants and flowers everywhere as you can see. I came for the bottomless Mimosa for 9.99 with purchase of an entrée. I ordered the chicken fritters with some kind of special sauce which tastes great. two friends ordered pizza and another the chicken BLT panini. I had the strawberry Mimosa and I’m not sure what kind of champagne was used but it was deelish, and only a splash of juice. I got my fill. The indoor space is pretty cool, a bit more private and offers a contrast to the open airy outdoor space where the bees forced us indoors. Those darn winged buzzers where trying collect pollen from us or something. Either way the food was good, service was attentive, the ambiance very cool, and good drinks…4 stars :) Cheers!

I’ve come here a few times for Brunch and and have always enjoyed myself and the food I’ve chosen. I’ve had the Pepperoni Pizza, BLT Panini and the Bread Pudding French Toast. All three choices were good choices especially when paired with the $ 9.99 bottomless Mimosa Sunday deal. The wood fired pizza was really good and the Bread Pudding French Toast was a good kind of different. The BLT Panini was the winner for me. I ordered it with extra bacon and it will be my go to order for Brunch on Sundays. The atomoshere is casual with both indoor and outdoor seating seating options available. The outdoor seating area is really cool with a back drop of mural art painted on the side of Boulder coffee which is connected via the outdoor patio. They’ve done a good job with the planters filled with colorful flowers and other plants that are placed around the outdoor seating space in the summer. The staff are very friendly and attentive and the restrooms have always been clean. I’d recommend coming to this place if you’re looking for a place that’s nice and relaxing with some tasty food for groups or just you and a friend.

I moved to Rochester from Long Island/NYC so I’m extremely particular about my pizza. Napa crushes it. It’s all wood fired and there are a ton of different varieties to choose from. Our waiter Drew was very helpful and attentive. We started off with an order of crab cakes and couldn’t stop raving about them the whole time. They cook those in the wood fire too and they are unreal, don’t skip out on these! I was kind of torn between a few options, but ended up going with the mac and cheese pizza. Best decision of all time? Probably. It was so heavy, but so good. Perfect amount of cheese with tomato slices on top. All in all, great local spot and great location, I will most definitely be back!

If I could live my life only eating from Napa’s menu, I would die a full and relatively happy man. Let’s start with the pizza. The spinach artichoke, simply white, and bbq chicken are my usual choices. The parma is delicious. You can also opt to build your own pizza order, if you’re not already satisfied with the many great options. Smaller plates are great — the Tuscan plate in particular is a wonderful starter. The crab cake is passable in the midst of much better options. Chicken fritters are delicious with the parmesan peppercorn sauce, and the fire-roasted wings are surprisingly very good. The pear and gorgonzola salad is a great choice if you want a fresher bite. The gnocchi is house made and probably one of my favorite bites of pasta in Rochester. I’m a sucker for candied walnuts and this dish always manages to rope me in. Love the sangria and the limoncello — probably my favorites from Napa. I have shamelessly had a carafe for myself. Draft beer selections are very interesting; IPA is decent and the basil brown ale is very different.

During those cold winter nights, walking past Napa Wood fired pizza to get to Boulders coffee, I used to envision what it would be like to just sit outside in the patio and have lunch. A meticulously designed patio protected from rays of sun by huge umbrellas, tucked away from the street by a tall wooden fence and enlivened by flowers and plants, a perfect place to sit, chat and enjoy a nice lunch. The pizza here is wood fired at 600 degrees and there are plenty to choose from. You can also choose two(or even three I assume) different types of pizzas and go half and half. It is a thin-crust pizza; the crust was very delicious, less like a pizza crust and more like a pita bread. We actually had four or five different ones and they were all very good. Hard to choose a favorite, but I would probably go with chicken BBQ or artichoke and spinach. The downside is the price; let’s face it, pizza is no gourmet food! So it can’t be priced like one! It was definitely on the verge of expensive granted the taste was phenomenal. Stellar service as well, a shout out to our amazing waitress Rochelle! So I am definitely going back again, just wish the price was a little more reasonable.

It’d been awhile since I came to Napa. Since my last visit, they took my favorite salad off the menu and raised all the prices. I got the fungi pizza this time. I was disappointed in how bland it was and how few mushrooms there actually were on it. The service was fine. Our seat was in a corner and fairly cold and drafty. Though I do love the patio in the summer, this place isn’t one of my go tos.

I came here last night with a friend. We were starving and by starving meaning we didn’t want to stop eating. We ordered the chicken fritters and they were gone within minutes. We then ordered the chicken artichoke pizza. The pizza was very good but very oily. At times it was difficult to eat because of the amount of oils. We then ordered the chicken pesto Panini. It was also very messy and delicious. The service was very fast and friendly. However it was 4 pm so we were one of the only people there. Over all I was very pleased and would go again.
