Came here for 2 ice cream sundaes. The brownie one. And the S’mores one. It was poorly & slowly made — so by the time I sat down to eat the second sundae, the first was all liquid. And then mine was almost completely melted within 5 minutes. The S’mores sundae is supposed to have marshmallows. But it’s not — it’s Fluff. Fluff is INTENSELY sweet. So, with the ice cream, the fluff, the fudge sauce etc. all combined, it hurt my teeth to eat it. Luckily the graham crackers weren’t so I scooped up the sundae with the crackers and it helped mellow it out. Please, put on big fluffy marshmallows. Stop it with the fluff OR put that in the description so I know not to order it. If you like crazy sweet ice cream sundaes, come here.

The Burgers are good — freshly made, excellent taste, right sized portions. The French Fries are okay to taste, not bad for sure, not greasy, I found them to be better than what we got last time at Red Robin which so-called serves bottomless greasy fries. The salmon burger I ordered was good, the salmon grilled perfectly. The veggie south of the border burger my partner ordered was nice and she liked it.

Came here with a large group and the manager greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. She reserved 2 sets of tables for us and it was very roomy I ordered the lobster roll with Tuscan fries. Highly recommend. The meal was $ 13 for two lobster rolls filled to the max and a good side of fries. The lobster was definitely fresh not frozen. I had also ordered the crabby patty. Which was a crab cake inside of a burger! It was moist flavorful and the crust on the outside was perfectly golden. I will definitely be coming back to try more

Came here with a group of friends and the service was very friendly. From the clam chowder soup and veggie chilli, to the lobster roll and mushroom burger everything was delicious. I would also recommend getting a root beer float or some of their frozen custard, simply delightful.

Who would have thought that salmon and dill go together? OMG lots of people would have! I need to get out more clearly. So I had the salmon burger with dill pickles and some kind of dilly mayo sauce. My god it was delicious. We also got a fancy burger and I’ll have to admit that it was comparable if not better than American Burger Bar(sorry dudes). Super juicy and flavorful. Really busy in here and moderate prices!

First time at the burger bar and I can’t complain. The burgers are tasty and reasonably priced for a full meal that included fries, soup or salad. I ordered the maple onion bacon burger which was pretty darn delicious. It’s topped with maple onions and thick cut bacon and cheddar cheese. The flavors meshed well. The burger patty itself was a good ½ pound burger but lacked a little something, seasoning maybe? I can’t complain too much. I left full and happy and would return for a quick bite. Not the best burger joint, but not the worst.

Woohoo! I finally made it to the Burger Bar! Those were some darn good burgers. Not life-changing burgers, but highly tasty burgz nonetheless. I had the turkey burger, which also has avocado on it, so I was sold from the get go. I ordered it with a side salad(love that there’s no upcharge to do so). Another nice perk here is that you can order any real, fancy salad as your side salad! So I had the kale and arugula salad, which was super delicious. Came with yummy goat cheese, dried berries, and nuts. So good! My boyfriend ordered the bison burger, which had very fresh mozzarella and tomato on it. Yum! Loved the seasoning on the Tuscan fries, too. We also shared the bananas foster milkshake. Definitely unique and worth trying! A little strongly rummy, but overall, really good. The spiked shake didn’t give either of us a buzz or anything like it, but I don’t think it’s supposed to. The shake was a little on the small side(smaller than a diner shake, at least), but that was good, because it didn’t make us hate ourselves. I’d be happy to go back and eat at Burger Bar again! Great food and totally reasonable prices.

I have been here several times with my wife and 3 kids and have never been disappointed. If you sit at the bar, you can watch how the burgers are machine pressed while on the grill– very cool. It seems like they have making burgers down to a science– as they get my burger cooked perfectly medium every time. The Mahi Mahi sandwich is excellent as well. As would be expected from Wegmans, customer service is great. Kids meals come with a free soft serve custard– which I recommend adults get as well.

I’ve been to the Burger Bar a few times, once on a Saturday evening and on weeknights, and have always enjoyed my burger. The mushroom burger with bison meat is my go to — though the order wasn’t processed correctly at one of my visits and was made opposite, the chef quickly whipped up another burger for me and brought it to my table which I appreciated! They had a chicken curry soup as one of their specials that was delicious too, I wish I found it more often! The zucchini fries are tasty, but I can only eat a few before moving back to regular fries. $ 10 – 12 isn’t too bad of a price for the burger, a side and a drink, and I much prefer the Burger Bar over any other fast food/Five Guys-type place

Great place for a quick burger and reasonably priced for the size of the burgers and what you get. Maple Onion burger was excellent. Lamb Gyro burger was very good as well. High marks on the Tuscan Fries… Lobster roll will never beat Red’s in Maine, but they give you a decent amount of chunky lobster on 2 rolls for $ 13. My friends said the Zucchini fries were amazing and a nice alternative to the usual fries, onion rings. I’ve tried the chocolate shake, and it was… good, but boring. Tasts like plain olé chocolate ice cream whirled in a blender… nothing to write home about in terms of amazing flavor. Too bad they didn’t have non-alcoholic versions of the Spiked shakes, now those look interesting. We’ll try those on our next visit.

I haven’t gone out of my way to eat here just casually stop by if I’m in the area. The portions are huge. I always end up taking half home. You can’t go wrong eating here. Definitely check it out if you haven’t before. You will have a fresh, solid meal. all the fries are amazing!

I mean its a Burger place run by Wegmans… attached to Wegmans. How could you go wrong? Their burgers are more creative than what you’d normally find in Rochester, there’s a great kids menu & an activity table, outside seating when weather permits, spiked milkshakes and tipping is not allowed. That being said, my favorite thing here is the arugula salad and lobster rolls… Which is a little weird since this is a burger place after all. But all in all you can get an above par meal at a place with Wegmans’ stellar customer service and then go grocery shopping at the best grocery store ever without ever having to step outside.

Visited the Burger Bar for the first time yesterday and it has now moved into the number one spot on our list of best burger joints! The speedy service, quality ingredients, casual atmosphere, great prices, flavorful combos and cleanliness are exactly what you would expect from Wegmans and the kind of place you would happily return to. Based on reviews from other Unilocalers, we got the lamb burger and the mushroom burger. How convenient that they cut each burger in half so you can share! Both were cooked exactly as we asked, and were delicious. I would have liked a little more tzaziki on the lamb burger, as the bun soaked up a lot of the juiciness, but flavor-wise it was excellent. The mushroom burger had a really great strong earthy mushroom flavor balanced well with the beef flavor, and the brie was a great addition. For our sides we had their Tuscan fries, which had big pieces of roasted garlic and sage leaves — so awesome — and their soup of the day: spicy red lentil. You can never go wrong with Wegmans soup! We will definitely be back and look forward to trying the other burger combos. By the way, though we didn’t try it, their Hometown burger(quarter pound of beef with cheese and condiments and a side) is a STEAL at only $ 7! Considering the quality and the fact that fast food burgers and fries(when you embellish with bacon etc) are approaching the same price point — there is NO reason to ever eat fast food again! Not that we eat fast food… just sayin’!!

I honestly love the burger bar! Mostly because I get delicious and diverse flavors that I miss from my days of living in Washington, DC but in an easy-going atmosphere that I can visit whenever I want. Tonight we got the lamb burger and the mushroom burger. My fiancé didn’t love the lamb burger but I think it’s an awesome, almost lighter version of a super flavorful burger. It has cucumber and tomato, tzaziki and all the spices you expect on a Greek dish. It really tastes like the mezze I had in DC. But the mushroom burger? Omg. Rich and luscious Brie along with a variety of sautéed mushrooms takes this burger to the next level. I have to say the wheat roll is also a nice touch to ground it a bit in savory flavors instead of the sweet taste you get from sesame buns. Well done! Oh and the sweet potato fries are superb! Crispy and sweet and salty. Yum!

It’s evident that the Burger Bar uses only the most fresh ingredients, a clear benefit of being attached to a grocery store such as the lovely Wegmans. The Bison Burger was amazing, the taste of the meat was more reminiscent of a meatball than your typical ground beef burger. It was topped with fresh mozzarella(SO good), roasted tomatoes, arugula, and pesto. The sweet potato fries were a perfect side, although the mustard dipping sauce was better suited for the Tuscan fries. I also indulged in the Berry White spiked milkshake — I highly recommend.

I took two teenage grandsons to the Burger Bar for dinner. We ordered one steak and two grilled chicken sandwiches which included fries plus soft drinks. Bill was around $ 40. The sandwich menu was quite varied and our selections were excellent, especially the steak sandwich. We all gave our dinner a big«thumbs up.» My chicken sandwich was almost more than I could eat, so I would guess that most patrons walk out very«full» after eating any of the sandwich selections. The process of ordering food reminded me of a Panera Restaurant. You just order at the cash registers, get a number and then head to any table in the restaurant. Place your number in a holder at the table and it will be delivered promptly. The Burger Bar is connected to the Wegmans grocery store. It is very convenient for shopping trips or just a stand alone restaurant visit. Our experience was very good and the amount food preparation skills is higher than in a Panera. I firmly believe that most patrons will find their visit to the Burger Bar very enjoyable.

A little disappointed. Wegmans is amazing but the Burger Bar was just mediocre. I got the buffalo wing burger and it was fine but nothing great. Part of it might have been because it was spicy and I don’t do well with spice but it was also super hard to eat. Very messy. I would be willing to give it a second try but was not impressed. The outside eating area outside however was very nice.

Me and my husband both got the Maple Onion Burger which was very good. Cooked to temperature but would have liked some more of that tasty sweet onion jam. The sweet potato fries were ordinary with a grainy mustard. The onion rings were excellent — Super Crispy and not oily. I had a side salad with my burger and it was fresh and tasty. There is ketchup, Mustard, BBQ sauce and a variety of hot sauce and vinegars you can get on the side. They have Coke Freestyle which is fun also. I got a small choc/vanilla twist which was rich and creamy and for 1.75 was perfect size and great price. My husband got a small choc milkshake which was also very good and perfect size after a meal. It was nice not to worry about tipping.

Food Bar had a nice sized menu of sandwiches, soups, salads and more. Being that I have not yet gained enough willpower to order a salad as an entrée, I chose the black beak burger with sweet potato fries($ 1 up-charge). My meal was yummy and I was pleasantly surprised by the serving sizes. If in the area, Food Bar is a nice place to try for lunch… I was so hoping to try the lobster roll, but I was unfortunately a few days to late when visiting. When inquiring about the lobster, we learned that it is only served on Tuesdays. I’ll be back on a Tuesday!
