Yolickity Frozen Dessert Zone

Love this place, and it is definitely one of the best frozen yogurt places. Much better than the other competitors around, and they even serve ice cream now! I like the fact that they change the flavors regularly, unlike other places that have the same ones for months on end. Yes you may pay a little more, but you get what you pay for. They also have a variety of toppings.

If you’ve already licked A, B and C, then the next level of licking is achieved when you-​lick-​a-​D. If you’ve never done this before, I can show you how. It’s not too hard and a lot of people do it on a regular basis. In fact there are all kinds of movies on the internet that will show you how it’s done. Fun.

I’ll start with the differences and similarities between this store and the other:
(a) this one is smaller (that’s what she said)
(b) this one has outside seating
© this one doesn’t have as much AC inside so it’s not as cool
(d) this one has a slightly smaller selection
(e) this one is way up in Greece where all the hot people are, next to Wimpy where the hot people work, and by people I mean person
(f) this one has friendly servers and they love Starlight — just like the other one did
(g) that’s about it, but if you need more, go back to (a) and read them again
Other than that, my review of the other location is roughly the same as this one.
I was genuinely surprised by Yolickity. In part my stop at this chain (twice now at different locations) was influenced by all the check-​ins I see at various Yolickity stores by Rochesteronianiteishical local people on Unilocal.I figured, well if they love it, maybe I will too. The ones in Buffalo (White Rabbit, FroYo Culture, Red Mango) are good but not great, although we do have one excellent chain (Yotality) and one even better standalone (Yo Betty). However Yolickity is, definitively, right up there with the very best of them.
I know this because the first time I tried it (a) I was full, (b) I don’t love fro yo that much, and © I wasn’t in the mood for fro yo. But still I forced myself to get 2 containers full of it… one with all the samples of milky flavours, one with all the samples of fruity flavours. Too much came out (the machines squirt it pretty fast, kind of like a guy I know), and despite all this, I found myself gobbling down every last drop of every last flavour of the Yolickity goodness. And afterwards I was left thinking… wow, I loved this a lot more than I thought I would.
The flavours were everything from Tahitian Vanilla to Milk Chocolate to Jamocha Gelato to Salted Caramel (all excellent) and then some fruity flavours such as Blueberry Greek Yogurt and Mango and Pink Lemonade — all excellent. I have the feeling they use the same product as one of the Buffalo chains, but I think it’s executed better here. Both locations of YL that I’ve tried have the same flavours.
They’re a locally owned chain with 4 stores in the area, run by a couple of families who discovered the fro-​yo craze down in Florida and then brought it up to Rochester. They pledged to get the best tasting fro yo and it certainly worked, because it tastes wonderful. I enjoyed it as much as the Abbott’s custard across the parking lot, and that is really, really saying something.
And I’m glad it’s called Yolickity and not Yosemite. Because I really don’t want to have to deal with Sam again. That moustache does nothing at all for me, and I’m not into guns. Unless Sam is Samantha and the guns are actually the arms she’s been working on in the gym for a long time. Actually to be honest Samanthas usually look great with any kind of guns. But I digress, come here and try the yogurt, if you didn’t already. It’s Finger-​Lickity Good.

2 stars for being clean and having good options. But so expensive. There are definitely other places of the same half the price. Took my niece and son here including myself was 18 bucks and we didn’t even get a full cups worth. Took my son to another place and it was 8 for both of us with full cups

Really good! Clean and bright, a good selection of flavors and toppings, and a bunch of outdoor seating. I prefer a more tart style fro yo, but I still very much enjoyed.

This place is awesome. So many choices for everyone! Affordable, and a wonderful family atmosphere.

I went here once last year, and I was pleased! This self-​serve frozen yogurt bar lets you choose exactly what you want. The price is fair enough, and you can choose from an assortment of different flavors and toppings, many of which I haven’t seen before. The dessert was delicious, and you have full control over the flavors and toppings.
It’s also very sanitary from what I’ve seen. Usually self-​serve areas give everyone the potential to handle everyone else’s food. Not here! They’ve taken some care in that.
I’ve been trying to get other people to come with me! I’d like to try it again soon.

Best place for self serve ice cream. Always have a ton of flavors to choose from and every topping you could desire. The place is always kept clean and the staff are always pleasant. Only drawback is that it is so popular, many visits have had long lines but it almost always been worth it.

Love this place! Live a few blocks away. If we go more than 2 days without it we go thru lickity withdrawal! Lol! I’ve never ever seen this place empty, but even if there is a long line it goes fast. Always nice and clean and staff is always very friendly :)
