I went for breakfast at 11:15 in the morning. We waiting about a few minutes for our drink order but then waited another 15 minutes for our waitress to take our food order. We then waited 45 minutes for our food order. The waitress avoided us and never came back to our table to check on us or see if we needed a drink refill. When we finally saw her walking past us, we asked about our food and she said that it would be right out, but 15 more minutes passed so we finally decided it was time to leave. It’s a shame because the food is good but the staff is terrible and not very attentive to the customer. Very disappointed.

Went for the Father’s Day brunch and the Bloody Mary bar was a great touch. We had the breakfast pizza and loaded skins on the table that were awesome. The omelettes and sausage and gravy were also delicious with big portions. Everything was homemade from the cinnamon raisin bread to the sausage gravy. Service was friendly and attentive, the kitchen took a few minutes which we could understand because the place was packed. We will be back!

Pancake. Topping. Bar. Did that snap your inner fat kid to attention? I thought so. Jac’s is the perfect breakfast joint. It’s small and cozy and everyone’s nice and cheerful. The décor is cute and the oversized spoon on the wall screams«eat bacon! do it!» Everything on the menu sounds delicious and they have enough of a range that no one could walk away unhappy. They have plenty of creative egg dishes for those-people-who-like-eggy-things people and lots of pancakes and french toast for people like myself who view breakfast out as a socially acceptable way to eat dessert in the morning. Get here early because small and cozy = long lines during peak hours. But it’s oh so worth it. Plus it gives you more time to drool over the pancake topping bar. And think about what you’ll binge on Netflix later when the sugar coma sets in.

Awesome. Try the chipotle ketchup. Owner is friendly and charming. We were in town from nyc for a wedding and would make a point to stop by if ever back in the Boston area.

The food looked good, but after waiting 40 minutes and still not being seated, we realized that a table that had been seated since we first stepped into the restaurant had just received their food. I also saw tables receiving their food and there were empty water glasses already — the wait was that long and their glasses hadn’t even been refilled. The servers avoided eye contact from the moment we stepped in. There are only 8 tables total, 2 were a 4-top, 1 was a 6-top and the rest were 2-tops. I will not be trying this place again, nice waste of a sunny morning.

One hour and Forty Five minute wait today was not fun with 2 kids. We saw many people come and go before we got our food. A little Frustrated.

First things first, a pint of orange juice is $ 2.50. In a world where scammers pull $ 6+ for a weaker«fresh squeezed» using old, sugar-sapped fruits and filling nary a thimble, this was quite the initial discovery. Then came the house made cinnamon reason toast. Swirled and browned, the pastry/loaf hybrid is toasted with a pad of butter and it. is. amazing. As most breakfast plates come with a side of toast, get the CRT or live a life or regret. My steak bomb omelette was cheerfully changed to 86 onions, add mushrooms in a otherwise overstuffed three egg crêpe, sharing room with Player’s «world famous» steak tips, green peppers and cheese. Oh, and a horse trough of nice seasoned home fries. A pinch more salt and steak tip representation would have made this a six star plate. Alas, they settle for five. Dining room is tiny, so leave your entourage at home. Unless it’s mostly squids under 10 — they’ll go bananas for the top your own flapjac(sic) bar. Gummy bears, marshmallows and caramel syrup? Put the dentist on speed dial.

Best breakfast around, excellent coffee with unique mugs. service is outstanding. Would recommend to anyone and everyone to stop in and check the place out. It’s a small but comfy dining area but fine if you don’t go at peak times.

Awesome! Stopped in for breakfast after an early morning hockey game. 2 orders of scrambled eggs with homemade sausage, wheat toast and home fries. We also had a small OJ, 2 iced teas and a large coffee to go. The bill, including tax, was $ 14.50. On top of that, we received fast and very friendly service. The restaurant is very clean too. We sat at the counter, where there are 5 or 6 seats. They also have 6 or 7 tables depending on how many of the small ones(for 2) are pushed together to seat 4 people. The food arrived piping hot and was delicious. The muffins looked great too — although we did not try them. Next time. Highly recommended.

Tried to get breakfast but it is closed and locked despite it being 1130am and they are open until 2. Open sign is on and no other signs. Won’t be trying this again.

This place man. Discovered it maybe 6 months ago and moved a half-hour further away since, but I do my best to get back down to Rockland 1 – 2 times a month to eat here. I have yet to get through the whole menu, but so far, it’s been glorious. I’m a «don’t stop eating til the plate’s clean» kind of person. but the pancakes threaten to end me every time. Very creative menu options. It’s almost nerve-racking to order because I know I’ll miss something or not read the specials. My debilitating neuroticism could also have something to do with that. Bottom line is the food is wonderful,(unless I’ve been getting lucky every time) you can walk right in to this place, be seated right away, and get very kind service. The only thing keeping this place back is the location, because in a Cambridge setting it would be packed to the gills. I kind of like it that way for now, though; still feels like a secret. Enjoy.

Loved Jacs! The décor inside is very cute. The coffee came in a really pretty mug and it made the environment feel more at home. Best sweet potato home fries ever! My nieces got the s’mores pancakes and let’s just say they were forced to share because of how devious it looked and big it was! Tasty breakfast and great customer service !!

Another great breakfast for the books!!! My mission in life is to try everything on the menu, at least once. I can cross the following off my list :). El Diablo omelet… I’m not into too extra spicy so I held the jalapeños #perfection! Homemade sausage… melts in your mouth. Home fries… just the right amount of crisp and the bites of bacon mixed within add a pleasant surprise to your tastebuds. French Toast, yum!!! Jacs Steak and Egg Grinder… need I say more?!? Made with Players signature steak tips. Overall, food is amazing… Décor/Cleanliness is top notch and the service is on point. What more could you ask for!!!

Went to Jac’s for the first time this morning, and got some smoothies to go. Let me just say that they were absolutely delicious! «The Elvis» was to die for. Usually when I order other protien shakes from other places, you can taste the powder. This tasted like a peanut butter milk shake. Can’t wait to try the breakfast. The inside is adorable. Definitely recommending to everyone!

I ate here after was temporarily displaced from my home for repairs. I read the reviews and decided to order to go food. Eggs were cooked perfectly and the potatoes were good. The sausage was funky flavored and the English muffin was wheat, and toasted not grilled, so it was mushy.

I have eaten here 2 – 3 a week since Jac’s opened & have not had a bad meal. The breakfast has always been great & has really creative specials. They also do great smoothies with protein! If you have not tried yet, you should!

Awesome omelets cooked perfectly and, the home fries are also very good. Coffee is terrific and served in mugs that make you feel like you are at home. Prices are average unless you get the early bird specials which are a great deal.
