Hi Everyone,
I would like to let everyone know about «Mitch» from Mac’s Remodeling. I called Mitch because I saw some good reviews. Really surprised because he doesn’t follow through. Wish I could give «0» Stars.
First Call: He picked up and said yes please email me and I will get right back to you. long story short 6 calls, 2 texts and 2 emails later… and NOTHING.
First email: I asked Mitch if he could replace my slider with some new French doors and maybe bid me out for a covered patio as well.
What was weird was that he must be too busy to do jobs. To bad for him I paid one company $ 1500 to put my doors in and paid another company $ 6k for a 40×14 covered patio. WOW what a loss of $ 7.5K to him.
Also may I add, I had an electrician come out and I asked him if knows a contractor that can give me a bid and he said knows this guy «Mitch». he texted him and he said he was already working on my job. My job? you never had my job because you never returned a call or email or text!
All I know is that you can’t do good work if you never respond to your customers. I will spread the word to everyone I know who needs a contactor to not use you! (Like a wild fire) Love that Unilocal gives us (The customer) the ability to let others know about companies that do a bad jobs or don’t follow through.
Can’t be too busy if his last review is close to a year old and the others even older!

We hired Macs Remodeling to remodel our bathroom. Mitch did a wonderful job and was professional and friendly. He would even stop working for a few seconds to say hi to my two year old! His estimate was very reasonable and he worked with us every step of the way. Once the job was done he cleaned everything up and made sure we were satisfied with the outcome. The bathroom turned out beautiful and ended up being exactly what we asked for. Wonderful company, wonderful work and wonderful contractors!

We just finished up with Mac’s Remodeling for a full renovation on our newly purchased home. After reading his website, I was very pleased with the presentation. We called to see if we could meet with him and he came the next day! We had interviewed a few other contractors but Mitch was hands down our choice. His time frame was a bit delayed due to the holidays and the passing of one of his relatives. He continued to be so upfront with us, it was easy to accept the delays. His estimate came in right as proposed. We have already recommended him to some friends and will continue to do so. You will be pleased with his company and employees.

Mitch is a knowledgeable and capable carpenter. He’s honest and really knows his field. I’ve worked with a lot of builders and carpenters, and Mitch is right there at the top of the list. Highly recommended!

As a Realtor for over 25 years I have had many, many experiences with construction companies working on my client’s homes. This year I purchased an investment house, for myself, that was a major fixer, Mac’s Remodeling did a fantastic job of turning it into a beautiful home. They fixed the crack in the foundation. To create a larger kitchen, they moved a wall, then remodeled the kitchen. They changed the stove and laundry hook-​ups from electric to gas, installed beautiful crown molding throughout, painted the inside and cabinetry with custom paints, installed new flooring throughout, new cabinetry (some uppers had to be customized to accommodate an odd shaped appliance I wanted to have installed), repaired/​replaced/​added plumbing, installed a wonderful new gourmet sink, installed new light/​plumbing fixtures, door hardware, new electric receptacles and GFI’s throughout house, built and installed permanent shelving in the garage and new fencing in the rear yard. His team went above and beyond my expectations. I will most definitely use their services again! They were very accommodating to my needs and preferences and worked diligently to keep the project on time, and on budget! :))
