Description Of Work:
I paid Paramount to provide architectural drawings for a small pool house. I bought a groupon like promotion where they were to provide very specific things to me:
* One exterior elevation drawn to scale — this is the view when you are standing outside and looking straight at the home (not applicable to interior-​only renovations); $ 500 value
* ‘As-​Built” floor plan of existing areas that would be impacted by the proposed new floor plan; $ 250 value
* One birds-​eye view floor plan for each floor of the project; $ 500 value
* Material and product specs for the entire project (so you know what will be needed); $ 200 value
* An exact price for the proposed new home, addition or renovation (not just a guesstimate!); $ 100 value

It took weeks for them to provide me with drawings — so I received the first three bullet points. But the plans were uninspiring, flat and did not include aspects that I wanted and were essential to the structure (like a way to enclose it in the winter to keep animals out). But they found a way to include totally unnecessary and more expensive elements. My six year old could have created these plans on the computer.
They never gave me the material and product specs or an exact price, notwithstanding multiple emails asking for this information.
And most insulting was the price they quoted me. It was at least double what all other contractors gave me. Plus, I had contractors provide the same type of drawings for FREE. I really believe they saw my zip code and decided they could take me for a ride and over charge me.
They are not responsive and uninspiring. I would not use them for anything.
