We enjoy the breakfast here. The hash browns are very good with fresh green pepper and onions mixed in. Food is hot and ample. Even made fresh coffee the last time we were in. This was even before I had filled my cup. Its a no frills neighborhood place, but a good place to eat.

Live right down the street and the food rocks. Owner is always kind. My son lives the fries. Highly recommended.

No frills restaurant, no real options this side of Roselle. Gyro was good, fries were crispy.(As long as they remain consistent with suppliers. Old owner kept changing the fries.) Beef sandwich was ok.

Peppe’s an absolute gentleman and fantastic cook! My bacon cheddar hamburger was perfect in every way, as were the French fries! The restaurant is super clean and bright and a pleasure to sit and enjoy dinner at.

They have good French fries! They have good French fries! They have good French Fries! Finally decided to try this place out as it’s in my «too lazy to go far for a meal, but also too lazy to cook dinner» driving radius. Otherwise, if I want to catch a quick meal, I only have McDonald’s nearby. Salt and Peppes is only open until 7, unfortunately, which can be a problem for late diners like me. I got the gyro. Do not buy the gyro if you don’t like a lot of meat spilling out of your pita. Acceptably good. The French fries were delicious! Crispy and greasy. In my opinion, little eateries like this either fail miserably with their French fries, or hit it out of the park. The French fries and the nearness to my home put it into the 4 star category for me. Try it out! If you don’t and they go out of business, I’m stuck with just McDonald’s again. Don’t let that happen, Unilocalers; don’t let that happen.

Salt and Peppes food is very good, very similar to the original G G’s and they make the gyros so good you will think you are in Greek town. the Mexican food is also very good!

A new eatery in the former GGs grill at the train station in Roselle. They have a pretty extended menu for a small place with a specialization in breakfast and lunch. You can get the usual sandwiches and lunch offerings from pita sandwiches, wrap sandwiches, and cold sandwiches. Hopefully this place makes it as this is an area that needs some independent eateries as opposed to the usual lame family restaurants and fast food outlets that Dupage County is so known for.
